I had a very pleasant experience at this shop. I recently had some surgeries and cannot service my own cars right now. They were a great group of professionals and a pleasure deal with. They got my oil change done really quick and even caught a tail light bulb that was out and put a new bulb in for me. I highly recommend this place. Fair prices.

The Valvoline Express was an excellent place to have an oil change. The person who helped me was named Josh and he was knowledgeable, thorough, and quite professional. He was able to do a complete oil change with the best products on the market as well as check and top off all of my other fluids in a timely manner.He also was able to help with the dimness of my headlights. I was immediately greeted,offered a military discount and reassured my truck is in good hands. First of from the second I parked I was greeted kindly by Casey and my car was taken In right away. I have a Honda Accord that needed an oil change. After just a few minutes not only did the mechanic explain to me what I needed to replace on my car but I also learned a thing or two about the proper service intervals with it as well. I ended up going with a synthetic Oil change and a synthetic transmission fluid replacement and I and absolutely happy with the results. My car shifts like new again and I wouldn’t have even known anything was wrong if it wasn’t for these guys over here on Denison St.Thanks for your service and I’ll be back soon.

Josh was very professional and helpful, addressed my questions and concerns, researched recalls and offered suggestions on how to approach fixing the problem. He didnt upsell or pressure me to buy more than what I came in for. I noticed how other mechanics interacted with other customers, and all were professional all around.

I usually get my oil changed at the dealer but I didn’t have that option this time. I was extremely impressed by this place and the professionalism of the employees. The young man explained everything about the process, the price and even guided me in so I wouldn’t have to get out of my car. Everything went quickly and smoothly. I will definitely be back! Oh and the tech’s name was Justin. He was amazing.

About a year ago I started having quite a bit of oil leak from my car. I called this Valvoline because they were the last folks to change my oil and I thought maybe the plug was cross-threaded. After calling them fairly late in the day, the owner (I believe his name was Kenneth) called me and went out of his way to make sure the problem was addressed. He drove all the way out to my house in Sanger at like 7:30 in the evening and took a look at my vehicle. The next day he and his wife drove back out to my house and drove my car into their shop. Upon inspecting it further, it ended up not being an issue with the plug at all but a leak from the turbocharger oil line.I write all this to say, this was the absolute peak of customer service in my eyes. I will go nowhere else in DFW to get any service Valvoline offers on mine or my wifes car as long as we live here. On top of this, my wife and I had just had our baby and Kenneths wife gave us handmade burp cloths. Incredibly impressive and professional. I cant say enough good things about this experience.

Have been here twice, and both times have been a pleasant experience. They finished the synthetic oil change really quick, talked me through what else was starting to wear down, didnt pressure me to buy anything extra, and even told me how I could save some money on wiper blades by buying them from a auto parts store. I live about 45 minutes away, but work in the Denton area. I make it a point to come here instead of going somewhere in my home area whenever I need to take care of regular maintenance. They are solid folks who do solid work. Ill be coming here for the foreseeable future for sure.

Visit in 2021:Was told my power steering was technically leaking because there was old fluid on the line. Paid $25 to fail my inspection, and was told when the issue is fixed I could return for free to re-inspect. I went to Tommys Hi-Tech Auto to get my power steering line fixed. They topped off my fluid, reinspected the vehicle, and got my inspection completed in less time, and for free. Thats what I call winning a client. Looks like Tommys is the place to go.Visit in 2020:Staff and service was excellent, would recommend to all.New building, nice facility, staff is friendly, but the location has a small parking lot. Arrived at ~10AM had no wait to be served. Needed state inspection and Oil change, both done within 30 minutes.

Happy customer. I had to wait maybe 45 minutes total. There were a few people in line in front of me and they said I could wait in my car if I wanted (social distancing and all). They came to get me and maybe 15 minutes later they were done! Pretty normal price (check their site for a coupon) and nice people.

Love this place and will always come back! I’m a college age female and too often anytime I have work done on my car, someone tries to rip me off. Not here! They’re quick, efficient, and so knowledgeable. I pulled in at 2:11pm today and was back in my car by 2:25pm. Insane!

I’ve had many things worked on at this Valvoline location! They have saved me more than a couple times. As far as oil changes, nobody has changed my oil quicker! They are the fastest shop I’ve ever taken my car to (and that includes for inspections too!). I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and have never been disappointed!

The service mechanic did not check tire pressure on my truck, after I asked them the attendant lied to me. The tire pressure on my two front tires was low and they did not provide the typical oil change report. Very unprofessional staff. I will not return to this terrible facility.

I was really nervous about coming in cause I read some of the bad reviews and I also don’t know anything about cars. However I came in and had a great experience. I needed my oil changed and Timmy (I think that was his name) was helping me and he saw that my oil was perfectly fine (see I know nothing about cars) he even showed me the dipstick with the oil on it, and then even put one of those stickers on my windshield that had the set mileage I should actually change my oil at. He very well could’ve changed it anyway and I would’ve been out that money for no reason, so I really appreciate his honesty and looking out! Definitely coming back when I need it done!

Got my oil changed and inspection done here. They got me in and out and I felt like they genuinely appreciated my business. It was a nice change from other places Ive been to (no pun intended).They really looked my car over. They told me there was a turn single out, and they even saw a nail in one of my tires so I could get it fixed before being stranded.They get 5 stars from me.

Best experience getting my inspection! This place is so clean! They are fast, professional and super nice. The waiting room has good a/c, fridge with water bottles, charging stations for your phones, and bar stools and window to watch them work on your car!

Ive been going to this shop for years because the first time I went, Jimmy was the mechanic and I found him to be trustworthy and frankly, a great mechanic. I took my wifes car in yesterday to get the brakes changed an hour before close (I didnt know the hours) and Brenr and Jimmy did a great job even though it took them after closing time. Also, they did it in half the time that I expected. Zero complaints ever and I have been going for years.

I had the full synthetic oil change, which is the way to go in my opinion. I had an issue,and talked to owner. Mistakes can happen but owner very satisfactory resolved issue. You got to love that!

After an accident, the friendly staff at Express Care Denton assisted me in fixing my vehicle to working condition, in a timely fashion. I am a student, and coming to pick up my car was an issue. Luckily, they are very helpful and allowed me to keep my car there for an extra few days without charge, which most places wouldnt do for free. A few months later I returned with another issue and they helped me within an hour replace the part under warranty. Express care Denton has an honest and friendly staff, and I recommend them highly.

They identified other issues but werent pushy at all (I need new brake pads and a tune up) which made me comfortable. After leaving Sticker Station for a very poor impression and treatment, I tried Express Care Denton. I was met at the car by a pleasant, patient man who proceeded to complete my safety inspection very promptly. There were plenty of clean, efficient, polite staff members who moved with alacrity to get the inspection and the lube job done so quickly! We are new to Denton and this is now our place of choice. Cant recommend them enough!

My girlfriend went in to get her oil changed because this shop is close and convenient. The price was fair for the oil change itself. I got a call from her while she was there, telling me that she was told she needed to get her brake pads changed and brake lines flushed. The quote for the back axle alone was 260$ and the flush for another 90$. Are you guys kidding me? First off, you shouldn’t ever really need to flush your brake lines unless for whatever reason you got air into them somehow, and you would know well enough if something was wrong. Those are the most predatory prices Ive ever heard of! It costs on average 300$ to replace the brake pads on both axles of a vehicle!! What a joke. Needless to say I told her to say No and ignore any of the mechanics advice. For anyone reading this, give J & M Automotive a call, which is just down the street, and ask for a quote on the same work done. I called and was quoted for the same costs for the ENTIRE vehicle. NO flush needed. Refuse any work done at Valvoline unless its an oil change. Do your homework.

I was super impressed by the level of service I received today. I was in distress about something that happened to my car today and Joseph went out of his way to get it all taken care of and put my mind at ease. He also educated me on a few things about my car. I will definitely be back!

These guys are AMAZING! I took my car in for a routine oil change and asked if they could try and find the source of a bad smell coming through my vents. All of the mechanics helped out to try and find out what was causing the smell and eventually removed and disposed of a large animal that had gotten stuck under the hood somewhere. They also went the extra mile to clean my car for me, do everything they could to get rid of the smell, and as horrible as it was they were never anything less than helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend their service!

Went to get my oil changed and luckily they werent busy and they immediately got my car in. They quickly served the others before me and got me on my way. The people are polite and will engage in easy conversation with you.

When I got my oil changed here the guy doing it looked like he poured oil all over his hands before rubbing them all over the air filter and then asking me if Id want to buy a new one since that one is dirty

These guys are great! I got my car inspected by them a few months ago and it was quick and easy with friendly service. Very clean waiting area where you can watch your car the whole time.A few days ago, my AC was blowing hot air. I called and they said they could get me right in. I was there for 40 minutes total and they ran the diagnostics and fixed my AC once they knew what the issue was. I was happy that it was an inexpensive and quick and easy fix.I will continue to be one of their customers and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Customer Service Fail. Usually good service but today they didnt check the car in properly to be able to contact is right next door having lunch to ask a simple question to clarify the service needed/desired (nor did they walk nextdoor knowing where we went) so they performed no service. We should have a will from now on go to NTB.

Honest. Came in with a squealing serpentine belt and instead of trying to sell me on a new belt I didnt need, they made an adjustment and now its fine. It was a quick adjustment, so they didnt even charge me. Good people!

Very disappointed. I called beforehand and asked how much it would cost for oil changes on two cars, and they quoted me $39.99. After they changed the oil they charged me that for each oil change and said theres nothing they could do to help. I would not have gone if I knew it was going to be $80 total. I will never go here again, and if you want to save money, I recommend that you dont either.Edit: They gave me $25 back which does help a bit. I spoke to Roy on the phone who did help alot and he was very nice. Definitely made up for some of the frustration.

After getting an oil change here my car was running rough. My car takes an unusual oil filter so I was concerned something happened. I went back and asked if theyd look and make sure everything was alright. They found that they had put the air filter in incorrectly. Good enough. But when I asked about the oil filter and making sure the actual oil was full sythetic, they said that it wasnt leaking oil and there was no way they had failed to replace the filter or put the wrong oil in and they could do nothing else for me. When I left the car was better but still running rough, immediately went to another place which resolved the issue.

They get you fixed up quickly.
