I went in for a walk in nose piercing and they were great! They had us take a number and wait in our car until the number was called, and checked my temperature before I could go back. Everything was quick and professional and Im definitely going to go back!

Ive had my nostril (2x) and septum done and each experience was very professional and Im very highly satisfied with every interaction! Plus, she gives a little candy in your care package. Lars pierced my cartilage a few weeks ago and my friend’s Travis and second hole, and we were very pleased with the experience! Aces has phenomenal covid precautions in place, but that also meant my friend and I couldn’t act as moral support for each other and instead went in one at a time. Lars made us feel comfortable and at ease. She answered questions, helped me find the best placement on my ear, and talked me through the entire process. Super fast and far less painful than I was anticipating! Will definitely Italy be returning.

Lars is an excellent piercer. I just got my nose pierced here, and I will never go anywhere else for piercings as long as I’m in the DFW area. I’ve gotten three piercings here in the past 15 years or so (all in the same place on my nose - I took out the first one before it healed, and I just let it close over time the second time), and every experience has been awesome. They make you feel comfortable and also make good recommendations for styling. Plus they are very reasonably priced. I recommend them to everyone.

I came here for a nipple piercing and Dorian was awesome.

Came in for a silver nose stud jewelry & the quality was very cheap no shine to the jewel stud. I even pointed out the exact stud I wanted and thought that’s what she gave me in the “sterile” package. When I opened package it was the wrong size gauge and stud. Uneasy if it was a new stud or even sterile for that matter. Went back in to ask for smaller gage and she told me I’d have to buy a whole new one. Bad customer service and the girl didn’t even know what gage sizes they had. She also told me I could wait around and get the girl who does the piercing to put it in my nose for me. “No thank you, I don’t want to make my hole in my nose any bigger!” Definitely won’t be going back!!

This is hands down the only business that is taking the pandemic seriously. They were organized, detail oriented, and take the measures ALL businesses should do in these times. My wife got a nostril piercing here recently and it looks great. They were quick, and the place was very clean and organized. Piercing was painless according to her, and piercer Lars was very gentle and informative on the process and care of the new piercing. Overall my wife had a very good experience and would definitely recommend!

Horrible experience. My boyfriend, who has serious anxiety as well as autism went in to get pierced. He was snapped at for his leg shaking then snapped at again for nodding in response to what the piercer was saying. He literally got snapped at for nodding to let the piercer know he was listening. Then she said he didn’t have the anatomy for the piercing he wanted, even though she was feeling in the wrong place. We went to dark age, a better studio, and they laughed when we said another piercer said he didn’t have the anatomy. Another friend went int he get pierced as well and she was treated in the same way. The piercer was rude and snappy.

However, Larissa not only did a great job with my piercings, but at ensuring that I was okay & comfortable the ENTIRE time. She was knowledgeable, patient, informative, and SO sweet. (TLDR; Piercer was rude/snappy and unprofessional. Only good thing was the shop and her station was very clean.)I went in to get my septum pierced and at the beginning of the process (the paperwork) everything seemed to be going fine and professional but when it came time to get the piercing the attitude changed. I believe the piercer that did my septum was Dorian. Since I have anxiety I was a bit nervous (not being able to have anyone with me due to COVID restrictions) and she seemed annoyed that I was a bit fidgety. She was talking to me WAY before she was even ready to do the piercing and she got snappy about me nodding in response to her talking to me and acknowledging what she was saying to me. Then moving forward to the actual piercing experience. She didn’t even tell me when she was doing it and just went for it so it obviously surprised me. Then due to the pressure I coughed a little bit and then had to sneeze (obviously I turned my head the opposite direction even tho I still had my mask on so I wasn’t sneezing directly in her face). She seemed to get annoyed with that as well when another coworker in the shop was polite and said “bless you” from across the room and said it’s a completely normal reaction when your septum is pierced. She didn’t really go over aftercare much but I mean I already have a bunch of other piercings. My boyfriend had also went in right before me and had a bad experience as well. He has anxiety and is autistic and she was snappy at him for his leg shaking. She then told him he didn’t have the right anatomy for a bridge piercing even tho she was feeling in the wrong place and was too high up on his brigde. We did go to another studio in town and the piercer there laughed when he told her what the other piercer had told him and she said he had pretty much perfect anatomy for the piercing after feeling and checking. So all in all I would say Dorian should probably consider working on her customer service skills. Not everyone is neurotypical and some people that choose to get body modifications have anxiety or autism so you should be aware of that and not get snappy or rude with customers for behaviors that you don’t have to deal with while working on neurotypical people.

I’ve never been anywhere else but ACEs. They are always so clean and easy to work with. Larissa (Lars) did 3 piercings on me and made me feel completely comfortable the whole time. Even though I have multiple piercings, I still get a little anxious every time. She was so patient and easy going. She took her time to make sure they were all exactly how I wanted. I will definitely be back to see her again. I definitely recommend her and her location.

Ive been going to Aces for all of my piercings/recent tattoos and I have never had a bad experience! I get tattooed by Brandon and have never been disappointed. My first tattoo from him was in a rather intimate place and the amount of professionalism shown by him made me never want to go to a different artist, aside from the fact I love his work. As for the piercings, Ive never had an issue with any of the ladies (I usually get Lars or Adrian). Love this place so much, moving down to Houston soon and Im STILL going to be coming up just for them.

Quick and amazing piercing experience! If you are sensitive to certain metals, they use earrings that wont irritate your ears. I wanted a flat piercing but in a non traditional place on the ear. The piercer gave me exactly what I wanted and angled the earring perfectly so it wouldnt hit my glasses!

If you arent getting tattoos from Brandon Kemp at Aces then you are making a huge mistake. Amazing, talented artist and a real authentic hombre. The shop is always clean. All my tattoos and piercings are done at this shop - I cant recommend them enough. There are a lot of shops around the area but Aces is by far the best.

After searching around all day for a reputable shop to get my bridge pierced, i wish i had stopped in here first. most of the other denton tattoo shops i visited - and i am saying this as a tattoo artist myself - were sketch as hell or treated their customers like garbage.their covid safety measurements are a lot more pre-cautious than most places i have seen lately, which i appreciate. i did wait an hour in my car before my number was called, so i do think that the line system could use some improvement, such as texting or calling when our number is up. but it was still totally worth the wait.i got my bridge pierced by larissa, and i couldnt be happier with how it turned out. unlike other piercers i consulted, she knew what she was doing and sounded very experienced, which made me feel much more comfortable and that i was in good hands. it was quick and less painful than i had heard. will definitely be making this my go-to shop in denton!

I love this shop, especially because you can tell that it’s very, very clean. I’ve gotten every one of my tattoos done there & I plan to keep going. I personally get my work done from Andrew, but all the artists there have amazing work; I would recommend any one of them! I also got my belly button pierced there & the piercer was calm, knowledgeable, soft spoken, so nice & made me very comfortable. 5 stars all around! :-)

My partner & I drove 40 minutes to get pierced at Aces, instead of any of the dozen places in our area, because it came highly recommended. I have several piercings, and Ive been to all kinds of shops & worked with all kinds of piercers. Id make the trip to Aces again for my next piercing, no questions asked.It was my partners first piercing, and he had such a great experience with Lars, that hes already thinking about what he wants to get next.Another piercer helped me (I feel really bad for not getting her name), and she was able to do an industrial for me, despite the fact that I had been turned away by several other piercers, who said it couldnt be done because of the shape of my ears.She is *extremely* good at what she does, and communicated with me every step of the process to make sure I would love my piercing. I was nervous, because it was my first cartilage piercing, and she did a great job of walking me through the process & calming my nerves.Its been about a month, and my piercing is healing relatively well, despite taking quite a few bumps (Im extremely clumsy, lol). I was experiencing some irritation, though, so I messaged Lars and sent a couple pictures to get her opinion. She was quickly able to see that I needed a longer bar, and asked me to come back in for a follow up.I saw Dorian yesterday, and she took great care of me. Made the process as pain-free as possible, even with the piercing being irritated, and changed the jewelry so smoothly that I hardly even noticed it happening. Its already MUCH less red and painful.Hell, they even gave me a jump when my car died in the parking lot.The short version: great people who do great work, and care about their clients. Couldnt have asked for a better experience!

I started coming here to get tattooed over a year ago, and won’t go anywhere else. The staff is very kind and professional, and the tattoos and piercing they do are some of the best in Texas. I get my tattoos done by Brandon Kemp, he is light handed and his tattoos heal faster than any others I’ve gotten previously. They age very well and hold color throughout the years. He’s a great guy, and he’s the man you want to go to if it’s your first tattoo or your hundredth. He’s been very open to many different traditional designs and is a great artist overall 10/10.

The best place in town to get *any* piercing. I never had an issue & the piercings look great! They’ve got a good range of options. Very professional as well. Some of my piercings barely hurt & didn’t even bleed. I’ve been to a couple of other places in town & this is by far the best & most affordable.I recommend going between 12-2pm to avoid the evening crowd.

I recently got my nose pierced by Larissa, I was very nervous and scared it would be so LONG and painful, but it was the exact opposite!! She helped me with any questions I had, walked me through it and overall did an amazing job!! it was over before I knew it happened! she will definitely be my go to for piercings in the future!

The oral piercing care instructions state to use an antiseptic mouthwash (containing alcohol), but all the info Ive found on the internet recommend against it and to use alcohol free mouthwash. The antiseptic mouthwash kills all bacteria, good and bad. You need your good bacteria to help prevent thrush.

Went here and they were so rude to my friend and I. They acted like they wanted absolutely nothing to do with us. Clearly they did not want our business or to help us out in any way. We ended up going down the street to a great place where the people were actually nice to us. Will never go here again.

The artists can pull out some great work, but most are pretty rude and will definitely turn you away if they dont like what you want. Was told once that the tattoo I wanted was too girly. Great piercers though!

Y’all whole process was great and all, but you definitely screwed my bars WAY too tight. Three months after getting my earlobes pierced my ears started to bleed after trying to take them out. Now, 5+ months after, I barely got one out after 20+ minutes with rubber gloves....

Aces always takes good care of me. Ive gotten several piercings done there and all of them have healed wonderfully and if I have any problems they are more than happy to help me. For example, after getting my forward helix pierced, it began swelling to the point that the bar they put in was too short. I went back to them and they put in a longer post for free.

Her piercing was amazing and so detailed. She made sure to check with us and was so quick we were out within 30 minutes. And for only 40 dollars for a nose ring!!!!!

I’m also VERY shy, but he & the ladies I dealt with there were SO friendly & kind that it immediately calmed my nerves & is a place I felt welcome!!!!! Got my first piercing here, they were very nice, clean, and informative. They even gave us little goody bags with candy and instructions about taking care of our piercings in them! Expensive, but worth it for the even piercings and properly sterilized equipment. Thanks Dora for really making sure my first piercings were even, I love them!

A couple of years ago I dropped by to have Dorian do my tragus piercings, and Im glad to say that the quality of this place has not gone down! I came in last night to do a nose piercing, and Lars is the best! Not only is she patient and knowledgeable, shes also really gentle and my nose piercing didnt hurt much. They also dont over-charge for every little thing like a lot of places in the DFW metroplex. This place just has good vibes. I love the women here that do piercings. Had my septum done here and, being pierced at three other places in the past, this was by far the best experience ive had. It was calm, quiet, clean, and Adria was really kind with me. I was also surprised to not be overcharged for my piercing. Very good service and Adria is skilled, calm, and very nice.

Worst experience at a tattoo/piercing place. My sister wanted a simple tattoo coverup (literally a 5 min tattoo) and also one double piercing. They straight up said they had no one to do the tattoo (it was 6:30pm on a Saturday night). They didn’t tell us until we waiting one hour that the one piercing was $60. After we said no to the piercing, they got mad and told us to pay $10 for a service fee. We straight up said no and went to Infinity 13 a few miles away. They are cheaper and much nicer.
