First time shopping here. They have a great selection and NO EMPTY SHELVES! Prices were comparable and lots of bulk stuff. Its really worth checking out! Reminds me of the old Sack and Save stores from back in the day. You sack your own stuff, but I like that!

This is my go-to shopping place. Its distinctly cheaper than other grocery stores despite quality being the same or better. Lots of bulk items without a membership, extensive ability to get items in the amount you need, and some really good store deli/bakery products. My only complaint is the bulk nature means some specific items/brands may not be available or be available only sometimes or in odd sizes/selections. All in all, its well worth it and will continue being my go-to store.

Christ in meat department went out of his way to be extremely helpful. First thing he did was was made himself available to help me locate product. He not only made me aware of where the product was, but took me to where it was located. He realized he was out of product in the front counter, but had some in back and not only did he bring out the right size package because Im by myself he brought out a great selection. Kudos for Chris!!!!!!!

Gotta say WinCo is a winner in my book, just for the simple fact that they offer paper bags at checkout. I try to avoid using plastic bags whenever I can, and this just made it a little bit easier to do! Also great selection of groceries!!!

Nice, clean store with a wortwhile bulk section, fresh meats and veggies, and friendly staff. Prices at market value or below. Definitely recommend it.

Store is always clean, shelves are always stocked, produce is always fresh, and there is a wider variety of foods right down to their pet food. Sacking your own groceries is easy if you shop with someone who can start bagging as you wait to pay. It was a great shopping experience

Well stocked store, a large selection of bulk items from grains to cereals to chocolates and candys as well as pet food. The store is very large making sometimes making it hard to find a specific item. I do not think they charge cards.

Phenomenal place to buy bulk without a membership. Go to place for bulk pastas, seasonings, pretzels, coffee, etc. Solid selection on other staples (chips, soups, dressings, etc) and their WinCo brand is always dirt cheap. Highly recommend!

Me and this place have a “love hate relationship” the service is good and they literally have almost everything but the only problem is a personal issue for me. Every time I pass the candy isles I can’t help but grab some. Now I’m a sugar addict and can’t help but take free samples even if the sign says to not and sure I get weird looks when I’m fist deep in the airheads container but I think that Winco could do a better job at hiding the candie isle.

This grocery store is amazing. Very clean and it offers great deals and they always have plenty of cashiers everytime we go! Give them a chance you wont regret it.

This is an AWESOME place to shop in Denton Texas.Its an Aldis ..Lidl..and BJs all rolled into 1(but without having to be a member 😁) Its very easy to get to and centrally located.Definitely recommend!

Love winco for their prices. They have not been opened 24/7 since the pandemic hit though so someone should update their hours of operation for people.

The seafood section smelled so bad I almost throw up. There are flys in bagels. Some of the meat cases were warm. The A/C was not on its 90 outside.

They are very helpful when you cant find what you are looking for.

WinCo has everything you will need at good prices.You might think it a box store. It’s not. But it is a large store it has large verity to go with it.The employees are helpful and friendly.

I absolutely love WinCo!! Their prices are low and they have everything in stock 99% of the time!One thing I dont like is theres usually only like 1 or 2 registers open when the lines are pretty long. Sometimes the employees will open another register but not all the time.

This is the only grocery store open 24 hours. They are open when I need them. I dont shop anywhere else anymore.

Let me give you the low down on WinCo. It’s employee owned and ran. They only accept cash and debit so be prepared for that. But this place is if you took Costco cut out the extra bs and made it into a functional bulk supply store. They have great prices, great food, and minimal brands.

The girl that works overnight that wears heart shaped glasses is awesome. She has been friendly every time I have been there and she helps u find what u need without an attitude

The Place is a huge S%#t Hole, The Food was Cold and the Building was Hot.Theres better places to eat downtown.

Warehouse prices on many foods including fresh produce. Choose from the common brand names you are used to or the low priced WinCo brand items. The carton of WinCo brand eggs are bigger and less expensive than Krogers. Youll bag your own groceries. Unlike Aldis however, you dont have to bring your own bags. Both your choice of paper and plastic bags are provided at no charge. WinCo is the best!

Food very inexpensive staff extremely helpful

Checked in at 2:10 am and was given a door right away. They started unloading immediately. Nice folks here. There’s enough to space to park while you wait to be given a door.

Great store! Always clean and stocked well. However much like many other grocery stores in Denton, they do not allow the medical exceptions in the governors exec order on masks for people with breathing problems. Im not sure if they didnt read it or just dont care.

You can arrive only 4 hours early! But their receiving doesnt open till 0500. So you can arrive at 0100 for an 0500 apt but you wont check in at receiving until 0500. Very slow. Two hours to unload 1 pallet. Come-on.

Its nice to have a 24 hour grocery store especially since covid-19 and everybody else started closing earlier. Clean well stocked location with a friendly staff

WinCo is the place to shop if you want great products at competitive prices. They are usually well stocked on what you need and keep a neat and clean store. The produce area could be better, some of the vegetables and fruit are kinda rough. Overall though a great place to shop and it is my regular store.

I just discovered how great Winco was about a month ago. The produce, variety of products, and prices are fantastic. However today, the customer service was terrible. Our cashier Haley was rude and not helpful. Our dog food was on the bottom rack of our shopping cart. My husband grabbed the 30lb bag of dog food and held it up so Haley could scan the barcode. Haley with an abrasive tone said “I have to scan it up here!” My husband and I assumed that cashiers could scan the dog food with a hand held scanner like what’s done at most grocery stores. My husband lifted the bag of dog food and put it on the conveyer belt. It made a loud thud and Haley rolled her eyes. In the meantime, I was trying to place a 12 pack of sparkling water on the belt but the buggy was in the way of me standing the water up correctly. Haley didn’t reach out to balance the water and let some of our groceries get smushed.There was no smile from our cashier, no thank you’s and no assistance with our groceries. The only things she said was when she got frustrated about scanning the dog food and yelling the price of our groceries out. No thank you or have a nice day from Haley.I don’t know what’s important to me as a consumer, product/value or customer service.I’ll have to think on it before shopping at Winco again.

I was at the checkout and the young man cashier doesnt understand facts and is easily deceived by obvious propaganda. He wouldnt check out my items and made a big deal that I using common sense not wearing a mask. They wanted myself and everyone behind me to wait for someone willing to do his job for him. Again using common sense and consideration for the others in line behind me went to self checkout. The other cashiers here have never been ignorant like this but theres always a petty and easily deceived person somewhere.🤷🏽‍♂️ 3star and greatly appreciated if the staff would stop wearing masks.Ps: they have Mrs . Renfros delicious ghost pepper hot sauce now!!

Zero enforcement of wearing masks. Counted 15+ walking around not even wearing one at all. Left in the middle of shopping as I didnt feel even remotely safe.

Along with reasonable prices and a good meat and produce selection WinCo is a good place to shop.....However they need to have more of a variety at the bakery department; theres not enough items to choose from.....other than that a good place to shop

I dont see why people wouldnt want to go and shop there. without having to have a card or anything like that the prices are pretty good. as far as you would want in groceries or produce or anything like that they definitely have that there. Then they have extras like some automotive emergency fluid items they have light bulbs and then just general here and their things. they have a seasonal section so right now its Halloween and they have candy things like that some decorations they also have some makeup things Im not sure about any costumes I didnt pay attention to that. Ive only been there twice because its close to where I live and also its easy to get to the only probably about getting there if youre coming from the East on University thats a big road to Cross LOL I usually would go to Krogers at the other location I used to live and now I live here. and there is a Kroger on down from University and have some pretty good prices especially using the card so since Ive only been there twice Im going to have to check out the difference.

I really like Winco a lot but they really dont check to make sure customers are wearing masks inside the store. Also, Im pretty sure they dont sanitize the carts. I try to not go there very often but the prices are so low and the bulk section is awesome. So, Im torn.
