One of my favorite local coffee shops. Right across from campus so super convenient and delicious. The ways they try to help the community also warm my heart. Theres someone there occasionally that offers voting advice, a pop up thrift shop, a vegan food area, and lunch during the week as well.

If you have trouble ordering, or just are an anxious person... These people are so helpful and nice! Like seriously, their aura (heh) is so upbeat and positive. Legit said how do I order a regular iced coffee? And immediately the response was thats exactly how! And theyre very accommodating, I asked for a lot of sweeter and they gave it with no hesitation! Anyways.. yeah I recommend Aura Coffee!

I didnt take pics because I literally forgot I was having such a good time. Aura Coffee is so good. Get a kool keith. Also the lunch special I got, the nachos, was absolutely amazing even after I had to heat it up for dinner (my only weakness is not being able to eat that much in one sitting, rip). Additionally, their twitter is hilarious. Its beautiful on the inside and incredibly welcoming, and everyone on staff that I interacted with is so nice. What more could you want from a coffee shop?

You go for the atmosphere not the coffee. Friendly servers and a cozy feel. Its not bad coffee its just nothing exceptional in terms of price or quality

Our friends went here, and each got different muffins. They tasted so good! I also had the chai latte and I thought it was much better than Starbucks chai latte. Would recommend!

Best in Denton, I’m so glad they opened again! Better than any of the other on-campus options, unique drinks you can’t get anywhere else.

I absolutely love the Horchata iced coffee, it’s really all I come for but, they have great muffins as well! It used to taste a bit on/off before COVID, so was excited to see when they first opened it tasted amazing & was consistent, for me. As of recently it’s kinda a risk on whether or not I will like it the same way.

I make the drive for the horchata iced coffee, I love that it’s vegan and actually tasted like horchata. When they first opened they were getting it on point pretty much every time. But recently they’ve been pretty inconsistent on making it. Sometimes i’ll have already left the shop and it’s not sweet at all, sometimes it tastes entirely creamier and not the way I initially had fell in love with it. Very hit or miss.

I usually like it here, but today it seemed like they did everything but make my drink :( took too long

The best coffee I have ever had!!! I have class twice a week and always stop in to get a cup of the Hologram drip. The flavors are so unique! Its always the perfect temperature too! They also have huge muffins which are incredible! On top of all that, the employees are friendly, and know their regulars. Way more affordable than Starbucks and a billion times better!!

They have a blender, but they cant make frappes? Not exactly rocket science. The variety of coffees was mediocre, and the coffee I had was bitter. Maybe its a Texan thing, but Washington has way better coffee.

Horchata iced coffee was apparently a favorite but tasted bland to me, not even like horchata. Didn’t like it, will be trying something else next time.

Staff is incredibly friendly! I ordered an iced coffee with their house made sage syrup (yum!). They are actively cleaning and ensuring tables are sanitized before guests can sit down. Its great to hear conversation and laughs of other customers with staff.

Its a good coffee place very near and dear to campus. Very good customer service. Variety of things to eat and drink. A bit pricy for college students. But overall good.

I love this place, it is great for working on homework and the employees are really nice. The free Wi-Fi is faster than the Wi-Fi I have at home. I like their selection of vegan breads and coffees. They have gender neutral bathrooms.

The crew is always spot-on with customer service, food & drink recommendations, and order accuracy. I love love love this coffee shop. The menu is well-curated, the crew is very friendly, the atmosphere welcoming. Easily the best coffee spot in town.

Places like Aura are what make Denton special. They have an extensive menu of coffees, teas, and other beverages and some delicious baked goods. They sometimes host local artists selling ceramics, jewelry, and other crafts.

Of all the coffee shops in Denton I’ve tried I like this one the least. The coffee is always weak and the customer service is just ok. Close to campus, so that’s good, but other shops are better. They may have been better before covid times. Hopefully they improve. I will try them again in a couple months.

Gone here a couple times and it is always wonderful. Kind staff, cool atmosphere, and great drinks! A lot of students go to have their club meetings there and whatnot. Just a generally cool coffee shop all around. Highly recommend.

My favorite thing on the menu is the iced coffee but literally everything on the menu is good. I love the openness of the venue and the staff is always lovely!

Ive been wanting to visit the cafe for months but have been too busy to do so, today was my first visit and all I have to say is, Ive finally found my coffee spot.Ive been to various Denton coffee spots but like Cinderellas slipper Aura coffee was my perfect fit. Definitely recommend going here if youre looking for good vibes and adult conversation. Cant wait to go again!😊

Most coffee shops Ive tried have terrible, bitter hot chocolate, but Aura Coffees hot chocolate is wonderful! Perfect pick-me-up on a cold day.

Went to see Sundown Collaborative Short Works Festival. Great show. The coffee shop owner is obviously a very awesome person that provided the space. Very cool place with a great funky atmosphere.

My fondness for this cozy, creative coffee shop grew and grew as they continued to cater to my insomniac lifestyle. My last semester was pretty tough, and I spent many over-nighters here drinking their delicious coffee and hot chocolates and eating their whole grain bagels. Theyre open 24/7, and Ive never seen them closed aside from maybe.. Christmas. Theyre usually packed, but you can find a nice relaxing time in the wee hours of 4-7am. Because they have big tables, people are pretty chill about letting you sit with them and get your study on.

Saw the Canna Butter on the counter. Made me lol.

Love their coffee, but not their espresso. Its simple in there, which I love. Not all fancy and overdone, just a coffee shop. Better in the summer because of the lack of students and traffic. They also have some awesome vegan options. I love their quiches, too.

Aura is my favorite coffee shop in town! However, its not 24 hrs advertised on Google. Most days they are open 7am-7pm, so watch out before you show up when they close!

Conveniently located adjacent to UNT campus. Ideal for walking from school, though parking is almost non-existent at daytime. A little bit pricey, especially if you tip! Also I wish it had more independent tables and chairs instead of ones side by side!

Really tasty. I tried a latte with almond milk and their homemade lavender syrup and wow, Im impressed. The espresso was bold and smooth with no acidic aftertaste, and the lavender was really pleasant and natural taste. It was just the right amount of sweet. Also, the service is on point. 👍 If youre near UNT, go here!

Very good coffee and loose tea selection. Reasonable. Hardly a chair free due to studying students. Nothing but long, family style tables and wooden chairs.

This is a quaint and cozy coffee shop. The baristas are really friendly, the coffee is good, and they have a rewards program that earns you free drinks over time. Aura Coffee is not a library, so obviously people might be talking to each other. I still find this to be a great environment for reading or studying.

The food and coffee are pretty good. However, the food will be served cold. How a coffee shop that hires an on-location chef doesnt have a warming counter is beyond me. There is also no real sense of urgency, so if you need a quick coffee before class, youre better off going to Willis.

The coffee did not taste right, it felt like it was made earlier that day.There were people who were speaking loudly that i needed to put my headphone in me ears to be able to read my book. No one cared to ask them to be quieter so other customers could enjoy their reading or studying.I understand yall care about those customers but as a customer myself, id rather chill and drink my coffee in a quietier place.I wish this business all the best.

Great place to study, the noise level is low and almost everyone else was also studying. They have wifi, just ask for the password. The coffee is really good, and I am a big coffee fan. I asked the barista for a reccomendation for a sweet coffee and he reccomended the something Keith which I LOVED. The staff is very kind. Also there are LOTS of outlets available and the seating is pretty cozy. This is my new favorite coffee spot!

Aura has always been an amazing coffee shop because of the selection of coffee and the ambiance, but they have really gone above and beyond this time. They have a private room in the back that is used for all kinds of academic and extra-curricular groups, and I called to see if it was available for my class at UNT to do a reading at the end of the semester. They booked it for me immediately! I was so impressed with the level of service I received, and I can’t wait to get my students out of the classroom for our reading 👍🏼

Aura Coffee is a good place to grab coffee between classes. Its definitely a college hangout. The seats are pretty close together, so its almost impossible not to overhear other customers conversations. Its got a great community vibe.Tip: Dont sit at the table closest to the front door. The air vents are pointed right at that spot. Last time I sat there, my notes blew away.

This has become my regular before and after school spot at UNT. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. The coffee is pricy, but its worth the cost. Ive never been served anything I did not absolutely love and Ive had black coffee, iced coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, hot tea, cold tea, pie, coffee cake, and a pig in a blanket. Everything has been absolutely delicious. This place is amazing. If you want quality coffee and to support a local business, I highly recommend this place.

Yummy yes, EXTREMELY over priced though.. Came here thinking I didnt want to pay $4 for a simple drink at Starbucks. Paid $6+ for a 12oz iced coffee. If youre rich, have at it. If youre a typical poor college student then its not for you. Not coming back.

Awesome place to chill and drink good coffee. I only like black coffee, so Big Mikes is great for that. Its long been a solid Denton staple. They have Avoca coffee beans as a regular, and consistently offer different guest roasters. I dont like other coffee drinks, so great black coffee is all I need to be satisfied. And many places (especially chains) dont have that.

Good coffee and a cool grungy vibe. Music can be a mixed bag, based on the barista. No longer open 24 hours which kinda sucks. Combined with the fight of trying to find a parking spot if you dont live within walking distance kinda makes it a real shame I probably wont be back

After checking out the various coffee shops Denton has to offer, I found this one to be the better choice when it comes to looking for quiet, tables, and access to outlets in order to study( this will probably change during the start of the fall semester). The coffee was good. The Service was above par. I didnt have the food so I cannot comment correctly.
