Went in and the girl who helped me was extremely rude. Her comments where out of place and will definitely be calling a manager to speak over this.

I’ve been debating on if I should write this review for some time now but today I decided I will. So during the month of March I had been going in and out the store to buy foundation and try to get matched. I understand the pandemic is making it hard for customers to get matched but this is not excuse. I go into the store to buy some fenty foundation because of the oxidation. I went to the store over 7 times to only just return and get my money back in the end. Anyways, I went to buy some fenty from Sephora and got help from a worker who worked there, I honestly can’t remember the lady’s name. I bought some makeup so I could just see if it matched and return it. After trying for 30 minutes to match my skin, the lady who was helping me asked about my skin care routine, I’m guessing because I have acne or maybe because she was just curious. So I told her I was looking for a good skin care routine that would really work for me and so her proceeds to tell me what skin care is and give me tips. I was okay with that, there’s always room for learning more. But what I wasn’t okay with is her telling me I should consider exfoliating my skin to be brighter so that way I wouldn’t have to mix foundations for my right shade. I love my skin tone and the way I am!. I just wanted to say that I feel like customer services should be examined by management or something. Not everyone should be working to assist customers especially if they don’t know what their doing or are going to talk to customers like that. The other ladies that assisted me the other times I’ve came were great but her services was unacceptable.

You can’t return unused stuff for cash here, even if you have the receipt.Also, something that shocked me is that I was asked by a staff member “what’s vegan makeup?” When I said I only wear vegan makeup. Haha, they’re selling products they know absolutely nothing about.They cannot and will not be able to cater to your specific needs, whether it’s vegan, cruelty free or unscented products for sensitive skin.

I went here feeling very nervous as my first time in my life buying non drug store makeup, and received excellent service as someone really uneducated. Was always nervous to come into a place like this with real-deal talented makeup artists. Staff was super friendly and gave me recommendations and tips, also for things unrelated to makeup! I usually don’t sign up for rewards programs cuz I feel they’re a waste of time, but they give you a free birthday gift every year. My free bday gift was a sample of Kat Von D lipstick and eyeliner. Once the samples finally ran out I went back and bought the real thing because I loved it so much. Haven’t been back to this location sense because I moved away from Denton but I won’t forget my awesome experience here. (Also a LGBT+ safe zone from my experience.)

Ive been to this Sephora twice and both times the ladies working there were really helpful and sweet. One of the ladies and I talked about skincare and she gave me a sample of one to try to see if I liked the way my skin felt. I thought they were nicer here than at others.

Always had good service here. Great product selection. The only thing is that this location is kind of cramped for space. Would be easier to shop with more elbow room.

I always have a great experience at this Sephora. lately they have been busier than normal but the employees always check on me as i go through the store and offer help multiple times. The store is really clean, especially compared to other makeup retailers in the area, and ill definitely be going back and recommending this location

I waited in line for almost 20 minutes and then by the time I got to the counter, the girl didnt even know how to do an exchange so that took an extra ten minutes. This is the kind of store that makes you realize why you shouldve stayed home and shopped online.

This Sephora is huge waste of time. They barely ever have anything in stock and even the stock they have is super limited. On my last visit I tried to get the face sculpt trio palette from Makeup Forever but they didn’t have the actual trio palette to put it in. Since you can’t really do much with the makeup by itself I asked if I could just get the 3 in the singles for the $45 price. The lady who helped was super friendly and sweet but when she consulted the manager, she said no because “they’d be losing money since I’m paying for the palette it comes in.” Mind you, the palette itself isn’t anything fancy, maybe worth 2 bucks in production. So I said okay, I’ll just get the duo for $29. They didn’t have that palette either. So, I’d have to buy each one separately for $25 because they didn’t have the little plastic palette they go in. Like I said, the girl who helped was super nice but the manager clearly would rather miss a $45 sale than to cough up the few bucks it might cost to sell me them in the singles palettes when they are the ones who didn’t have what they needed in the first place. I’m definitely not going back to this Sephora.

Went into this Sephora recently & the “beauty manager” Allison acted as if she knew nothing at all. I asked her about a previous employee that was always so sweet & always helped me find products that were best for me. She started laughing so loud & started to bash the employee I was asking about. She could have simply told me she was no longer there, but instead she acted like a child & said horribly ugly things about this girl. She was so unprofessional & made me feel SO uncomfortable. I really needed a new foundation, but decided to go to Ulta because of the way the manager acted. I had been contemplating on applying at this location, but I can’t imagine working somewhere where the manager talks bad about other employees to customers. I’ll be going to Ulta from now on.

I went into sephora needing to restock on foundation concealer powder pretty much basic stuff. I needed my color matched and when I asked two women who were not busy at all they both seemed very annoyed. So one of them directs me to a chair where she slaps a foundation on my face without primer it was three shades to light and applied with a filthy brush. She took about one minute then told me to have a good day... I will never go back to this store luckily there is an ulta store in Denton that actually wants to sell products!

Staff isnt that great or approachable. One time I waited by the counter to check out for awhile before somebody asked me if I was ready to check out. Everytime I call nobody answers the phone. It always goes to another JC Pennys counter and they retransfer it back to the Sephora counter and still no answer. Has happened 3 different times already. I only go here if I do not want to drive to another store.

Kaitlyn was really nice and helpful. Glad I went in.

I get that employees sometimes have bad days, but dont take it out on your customers. The employee with the green hair was very rude to me. I asked about a product and she answered in a very rude tone and didnt even give me eye contact. She just kept walking away. She also walked by my multiple times and didnt offer any help.

If youre black they basically jump you at the door and always stay 2 feet behind you. Thanks for making me feel like a criminal.

I love Sephora, but after an unhelpful staff I wont be returning to this store.
