We are new to the area from out of state. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found this independent pharmacy!! Steven Walker, the pharmacist is so attentive and remembers each persons name that comes in!!Highly recommend Community Pharmacy.

Had the best experience getting my Covid vaccine here! They scheduled me super quick after signing up online and got my husband an appointment right after me, which was really nice since it was a bit of a drive for us. The location was clean and everyone working there was super nice and friendly. The whole process was super quick and efficient!

Sybil, the pharmacist was extremely helpful. It was my 1st time to call. I needed to understand my particular prescription and other brand alternatives. She took time out of her busy day to help me and stayed on the phone until all my questions were addressed. If yall didnt know pharmacists go all the way through medical school ...so I consider my self fortunate when a pharmacist takes time to visit with me. Thank you Sybil and thank you Community Pharmacy.

Great service and dedication to their customers!! They were able to fill my homebound mothers prescription even while being caught up in the rolling power outages caused by the most recent Winter weather. They proactively communicated when they thought power would come back on and how long they would need to fill the script once power was back. Additionally, they called to confirm prescription was ready and that someone would be there, even if power went back out, to make sure I could pick up the prescription on my mothers behalf.

Great pharmacy. They really went above and beyond to help me! I have an elderly dog who wont take pills. They made a few phone calls and let me know several options for him. They made a compound liquid med for him w flavoring and it was way cheaper then i would have originally paid. They really go the extra mile and kept me updated during the process. This seemingly small gesture will make a huge difference in the quality of my dogs life. Kind people. Need more kindness in the world. Thanks!

I LOVE Community Pharmacy! Everyone is so nice and extremely helpful. They fill my scripts faster than any pharmacy I have ever used. Great service all around. I drive 45 minutes to use Community Pharmacy! That speaks volumes about these great folks.

I’ve had two medications which usually other pharmacies can provide manufacturers coupons. Community pharmacy will not even look one up for you. One medication was $150 with my insurance.Had to call my dermatologist back and say that it was too expensive and I need to find a different pharmacy. She gave a name of one which has a file of the manufacture coupon. And they shipped it to me for free and I didn’t have to pay anything.So save yourself money and look into other pharmacies that go above and beyond for their customers.Community pharmacy is a horrible pharmacy. Was great until they said they will not look up coupons for me. While other pharmacies have them on file and will automatically apply them without you having to sign up for it on GoodRx.

This place is amazing. As a matter of fact, you wont read a negative review about this place other than the people (these people that are obviously below average intelligence) writes review on the Minor Emergency Clinic next door to Community and is either too slow or too lazy to tell the difference. Amazing! It really bothers me that Community should have perfect 5 star rating but they dont because somebody else made a mistake.

(Local Guide) Unique items in the pharmacy to purchase, 100% essential oils too! Great gifts and home decor. Their compounding pharmacy is great for pets that dont take medication well and need something more tasty. Customer service is curtious & friendly.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced on multiple occasions... employees act like they couldn’t care less... so frustrating to deal with!!!

They even took time to write me a thank you note for shopping there! Amazing customer service! Took the time to explain my Rx and wrapped it in a cool pack because it needed to stay cool. Thats amazing CS!

They are careful a about drug interactions and they work with us know us when we are short they work with the insurance. 2 years ago we had major problems with them somebody was taking drugs off my pill bottles thats somebody disappeared and I came back because I left. So far everything is great and they are very careful now on the counting of drugs the only thing I dont like is large bottles and broken pills but otherwise you cant go wrong with this place they really know their stuff and most importantly they care about their clients.

This pharmacy is great. The employees are very nice and helpful. Ive never had a bad experience here. Also they are very fast getting your prescriptions ready.

Friendly staff. They have been able to fill prescriptions that a local grocery pharmacy could not. Also, the owner called to follow up, and ask how my experience was. I will use them again!

Thanks to old age and bad lifestyle choices when I was much younger, my monthly pharmacy bill is about $400, give or take. I have used Kroger Pharmacy on Teasley Lane since we moved to Denton 2 years ago. My main motivation for using them is I have always received good service in a timely manner, but a close second would be for every 2 prescriptions you have filled there you get a .10 cent a gallon discount on gas. Last week my pharmacy didn’t have one of my medications and wouldn’t be able to get it for a week. No problem, I took my prescription to Community Pharmacy. The woman who was working the window took my script and returned in about 5 minutes. She told me they had my medication and did I have any other prescriptions I wanted to transfer to their pharmacy. I said no, because I wanted to try them out before I transferred anything. The lady told me that they would fill my prescription THIS TIME, but no more. Not unless I transferred all my prescriptions to Community! A really good way to earn someone’s business is to treat them with respect and courtesy. I refused to be held hostage, because I didn’t transfer all my business to them. Good luck if you trade there!

Love Community! They have a great gift shop, quick turn around times and friendly staff. Wish more pharmacies operated with the same small town feel.

I love Community Pharmacy. I have had several prescriptions compounded and they do a super job. They are interested in everything about the medication and the staff is kind and friendly. I will always use them.

Do not use this pharmacy. My previous pharmacy closed their sterile compounding area, so I had the presecription transferred to Community Pharmacy. The next day aone of the technicians called me and told me the cost which was 350% higher than my previous pharmacy. I asked him, why is prescription so much higher than the other pharmacy, and he would not give me a rational explanation. They are taking extreme advantage of people that are at a disadvantage. I was able to find another compounding pharmacy that is 50 miles further, but they were the exact same price as my original pharmacy. Stay away from using these CROOKS.

This pharmacy is AWESOME! All of the negative reviews here are for the clinic next door, Minor Emergency of Denton which is not affiliated at all with Community Pharmacy. Community pharmacy just has the bad luck of being next door. They won the best Pharmacy in the city of Denton and they are more than deserving! All of the staff are professional, kind, helpful and filling RX there is speedy!

Greath Pharmacy - we use them for everything. I also like that they will fill compounds! Most importantly, these are great people to deal with!!

Overall this pharmacy sets itself apart from others in that it is prompt and professional. The only reason I didn’t give more stars is because there was a prescription I had ordered in advance and went on Saturday to pick it up and they were visibly disorganized, Chris the tech was disrespectful about my new med saying another version is exactly the same, and it seemed like the staff was bothered by the last minute rush before close

Id read the reviews for MED when I was deciding which health clinic to get looked at and made mental note not to go out of my way to come here. However, then I was referred to MED and the individual who referred me there spoke highly of it that I figured, maybe the negative review I read was too biased. The check-in was what Ive experienced in the past with other places; however, the rest of it...not so much. Surprisingly, we had to pay before we could even be seen...then we waited for almost 45 minutes before being seen for under 5 minutes by someone whose name I didnt even catch. Lets just say if you are looking for some place whose staff doesnt really seem caring and you just want a prescription - this would be the place for you. If you are like me who looks for a caring environment with friendly staff...stay away! I usually like to thank the doctor Ive seen, but I cant even tell you if I saw a doctor, a nurse, or who I saw really...SAD!

Best pharmacy Ive ever been to, hands down

I have used many a pharmacy in Denton and there is only one that carries all the medications prescribed. Its hard in Denton to find a pharmacy that will consistantly carry pain medications prescribed by my doctor. The pharmacists work closely w their clients to keep our prescriptions current & be able to give us their best out of pocket price. These are good ppl to have. They also have a specialist who helps w/ special needs for shoes for diabetics etc.

Very rude and not helpful at all. I worked at a pharmacy for years and they clearly have no interest helping their customers.

All of these reviews seem to be about Minor Emergency, which is in the same building as Community Pharmacy, but they are two different businesses. Google needs to update this error and create two separate profiles.

Worst BUSINESS IVE EVER DELT WITH. Staff is rude, they talk down to you, like your ignorant. I would rather use Whataburger..
