I try to stop by here when we visit Denton. They have very unique items ranging from necklaces, incense, crystals, and humorous gifts as well. The owner is really nice and seems more than happy to answer any questions.

Cute gift shop near downtown Denton. Lots of cute Xmas items. She also has the cuts handmade soaps! She has lots of fragrances and makes the soap bars in the shapes of the smell. There was pumpkin pie and root beer complete with straws (made of soap). They were very cute and great for the holidays.

I love this shop. They (thankfully) leave you alone while you browse their wide array of artsy, quirky, creative items and have a lot of materials for making your own jewelry and accessories. Lots of local stuff, too. Its a true taste of Denton!

I LOVE this store! It is one of my favorite in Denton! I have found the perfect gifts in here and one of the cutest decorations for my house! My boyfriend and I recently had a blast checking out everything in here and the staff are always super friendly and helpful! A lot of neat things are brought by a woman that travels to other countries to bring them here! This place is SO worth it! Go check it out!

I love sleeping lizards. I have been shopping there for 15 years we have moved away from Texas and back and away again the owners always remember my family when we come in to town its always a very good experience and shes even help me through the mail to get things to me and repaired.

This is a very small, unique gift shop. I used to shop here all the time when it first opened. They had great sterling jewelry back then. Over the years thou, their items have gotten more & more hippie like, but most of all, their service has become non-existing. I stepped into the store yesterday, & was almost run over by one of the 3 owners making her way out. Most owners would have backed up, held the door open for the merchant, etc, etc. Not this one! Once inside, there was a lady behind the counter that was ringing up someone, but she never looked up, never offered a hello, or even a kiss my foot! I was VERY disappointed, as I was giving them another chance, since my last 2 experiences there had been the same way. I not only didnt find what I was looking for as far as merchandise, I didnt find the service I had hoped for either. After 3 failed chances at customer service, Im done with this store.

I remember when they were in their first tiny location, and despite their growth and success since, Sleeping Lizzards has remained the same unique and affordable experience as ever, with owners who are truly talented and customer-oriented. Beth and Roxane are so nice, so down to earth, and go above and beyond for their customers, and they have employees who are wonderful and work there for years and years. When looking for a gift for any occasion, or something fun for myself, this is always my first stop. Sleeping Lizzards has become a staple in the landscape of Denton. Love it, hope it remains a very long time.

Nice hippie/granola style shop. Lots of semi-precious stones for healing or just enjoyment purposes, and bijouterie (e.g. rings, earrings). Also a nice section with cards and craft soap. Cool small gift items include amber and shark tooth keychains. Not expensive - got a shark and an amber keychain, large smudge stick of sage incense, and a package of incense sticks for a little over $20.00.
