Smooth and easy experience renting a wood chipper for the weekend. I wasnt sure if I had an 8 hour time limit tho. I thought it was going to be close and probably went over by a few minutes, but wasnt charged anything extra. Thanks guys!

Went in for a pick up of a scissor lift an a tandem axel trailer. Every thing went so smooth! In and out very quick! Well my job that I was doing was canceled! I returned about an hour after I had picked up my equipment. I never even got the scissor lift unchained. The guy behind the counter got every thing squared away and told me no charge!I use various rental companies around the DFW metro and NEVER have I had this happen. It is a great company that helps out a small business and helps us out with great rates and deals. I will recomend and use Rental One many times more!

I rented a small backhoe to dig a trench at my home. I rented it on a weekend, Saturday before noon, and returned it Monday before 8:30. I started using it around 1:30 on Saturday, about 4:00 I checked the fuel gage and noticed the hour meter read 435.2. The contract said I started with it reading 424.4. Because you were closed at the time, I couldn’t call and inform you about the discrepancy. I recorded it with a time stamp video, along with how long I used it on Sunday which was 3.5 hours. When I turned it in on Monday morning, I explained what had happened with the dispatcher who referred it to another person to make a decision on what to do. After about about 10 minutes of checking the records on that machine, he just “quipped “, no overage to the dispatcher. I really felt like he didn’t believe that I only used the 8 hours used. I spent 4 hours cleaning the treads of dirt and clay and made sure the fuel was topped off. The total fuel used was 5.5 gallons and it wasn’t full when I got it. My suggestion is that you get an after hours call number that people can call if they run into any problem to document what happened. Probably won’t rent from you again.

Called to get a quote for a cement boogy, was quoted $95 over the phone. When I got to “Rental One” cement Boogy jumped to 110.00 after taxes I paid 133.37. I don’t know if the system glitched and decided to charge me more within the Hour that it took me to get to “Rental One” also they charge me 20% on taxes, don’t know why they wouldn’t go with the 8.25 state taxes. Or maybe the salesman was having a slow day and decided to up-charge me and quoted me a lower rate so customers can come in through their door. Definitely the last time I will be using “Rental One”, will not recommend anybody to use this rental company, NO HONESTY TO CUSTOMERS!!!
