Came here for my first ever alc purchase on turning 21, felt super comfortable in the clean and well laid-out (sections organized by alc type then brand) store. Plus, when the guy saw it was my birthday on my ID, he gave me a mini bonus bottle (like a couple shots worth). How nice!

Always willing to help, the knowledgeable staff are pleasant, informed, relaxed - never push me to accept their rec or hurry me through checkout. Selection is huge, and I love finding the tasty bargain picks!

The store is very clean and VERY well organized. Everything is easy to find, and the selection is awesome. The customer service I experienced was beyond amazing! The two young men that helped me probably gave me the best service Ive ever received!

Love the place. They helped me find a special whiskey and I frequent them often. One thing that would make me go to another store though would be if they allow maskless customers in. Please keep up the masks and the great service!

I loved Applejacks before Covid, and respect the heck out of them for continuing to enforce mask-wearing. Unlike another reviewer, I think it makes them that much more awesome. Beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and special staff! You wont find a better place in the DFW area!

Super friendly staff and a pretty decent selection of beer. They don’t have the mix-and-match 6 pack like I was hoping for but nonetheless, I left satisfied. Also, even despite the location there is plenty of parking.

Staff is wonderful and they have such a HUGE variety of items to choose from. I love coming here to stock up for birthdays and other celebrations. Store is always clean and everything always looks nice, not sure how they do it so well!

Best place to get quality alcohol selections in Denton. The big box liquor store across town has more selection, but the best thing about Applejacks is the knowledgeable staff. Ive received some the best suggestions on wine and whiskey here. They really know the product theyre selling.Go visit the whiskey whisperer to get some of the best suggestions...

The employees are good about giving suggestions. Layout makes sense. Good selection of beer/wine/liquor. On weekends, they have people giving out samples to try new stuff.Only place Ill go in town!

A great group of people who work there. Ask them anything about the wine, spirits, or beers and they will give you a knowledgeable answer with fun facts. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Staff is nice and helpful when asked for recommendations for new or better products. They always give an honest opinion and dont try to push the most expensive products which is nice.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Denton is a little piece of gold. Applejacks is fantastic! Wonderful variety and an extremely knowledgeable staff make this the downtown wine, beer and spirits stop! Kevin the owner/manager is a man that will go the extra mile to make every customer happy. I cant tell you how awesome this place is, you have to go yourself and get the Jacks juice!

The only thing better than the selection at Applejacks is the lovely humans that run it. Personable, conversational, knowlwdgable, and always quick to make a joke. They make you feel included and excite you to be there. At no other liquor store could you become good pals with the staff and not feel like you have a problem.

Went in looking for a bottle of whiskey that is very hard to find Blantons Single Original. A nice employee placed me on a special order for the product, so that I may receive a call when it is in stock. Its been 9 months never received a call and they have apparently had it in stock within the last 3 months. Was told a manger would call me later that day to discuss the situation with me never received a call. Do not do as they say, horrible staff.

If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of Liquor Barn, Applejacks is the perfect solution. Very knowledgeable staff, a great variety of Real Ales, locally distilled liquor, and all the other liquors, wines, ciders a person could want. Highly recommend.

This is a great place for beer, wine, and liquor and they know their stuff and arent pushy. They have some harder to find beers you wouldnt expect and prices run about the same as Total Wine but with more knowledgeable staff, better shelving, and closer to Denton Square where all the fun is.

Staff is helpful, they will give you discounts where applicable. They always have awesome tastings. Pricing is questionable but definitely close to Total wine which depending on travel is well worth it giving its location to downtown Denton. They support our local bars and take care of all hotshots called in. Give these guys a try, they got you.

What a surprise! Excellent inventory, whatever your heart desires without the crazy of Total Wine. Many local beers and liquor supporting Texas distilleries and breweries (important to me). If you have questions, look out for Jake.
