I stopped in after dinner the other night for a scoop to go. I’d never heard of Kilwins before, but it looked interesting and was in the way back to my car. I am rating it only 3 stars because my experience with the staff was strange. I was greeted with a “how long have you been here?” I ordered one scoop of ice cream and was asked it was big enough….at another point 2 other customers came in and the girl helping me commented about being the only one working because her 2 other coworkers hadn’t moved from the other end of the counter where they’d been chatting since I came in. The atmosphere just wasn’t good. The other thing that left me feeling less than thrilled about my Kilwins experience was the bag. I put the lidded ice cream in my bag and the server said that it was going to leak and that I should take a bag, so I agreed. Then she proceeded to charge me for the bag (new bag tax). I get the tax, but didn’t appreciate her bringing it up like I needed it then charging. At that point I just wanted to get out of there though.It was also $6 for a single scoop of vanilla ice cream with no toppings. Although it was good I think that that is far too expensive and won’t be returning. Other ice cream shops such as Little Man have a better product, better customer service, and a lower price point.

Nice ice creams. We got lemon flavored one and it was good. The waffle cone is very tasty and has perfect sweetness.Great variety of chocolates, and other items.Shakes are pretty filling as well.

Very disappointing Kilwins experience. My boyfriend and I are travelers across the world and we have been to several Kilwins across the US. San Antonio, St. Augustine, Tampa bay, you name it. We were so excited to try the Denver location. The ice cream here tastes like carton ice cream from the grocery store, and they were out of sample spoons….how does that happen? If I would’ve sampled before hand we would have saved our money. You also can’t get two different flavors in one scoop like at other locations. The place was empty and now we know why… Very very disappointing and will not return to this location.

Amazing. Great speedy service. Welcoming employee gave me a mask and was really friendly.The hot chocolate I was hesitant to try out (as all hot chocolate hits the spot in some way)But wow drinking this was like losing my hot chocolate virginity.A great place to go right after my ex made me feel like a chubby bunny. Yummy chocolates, ice cream & fudge. Bathrooms for customers.

Me and my sister came in last night for a sweet treat and the girl who helped us was so friendly, wish we got her name!! We got some buckeye chocolates and ice-cream cups. And she even recommended the sea salt caramel for me and it was delightful 😍 Great experience!!

So yummy! Stopped in for a milk shake and waffle cone with two scoops. Was super delicious and totally worth it! Its nice that this place stays open later than most other places in the 16th Street Mall promenade. Only downside is it gets a bit crowded and crazy in the shop and at times may come with a bit of a wait.

Really good Ice Cream, and it wasnt too busy, but its missing a couple of the options (chocolate dipped cones) that the Kilwins in Boulder does.

Kilwins. Where do i begin. When i found you i was a mess. You took me in, gave me delicious treats beyond my wildest tastebud dreams, and showed me a happiness akin to a child asleep in the bosom of his mother dreaming sweet, wonderful dreams. Kilwins has shown me true joy. The candy apples, the fudge, the choco-covered oreos. I would be on a different path if it werent for you. My sorrows have melted like your fudge melts on my tongue. I love you.

No service standard to other Kilwins locations. No samples. No getting 2 different flavors in one scoop. Which might be explained by the scoop that was so small it didn’t even fit the mouth of the cone. Way short of expectations for a $6 ice cream cone. I was at a different Kilwins location a few days ago and they did all these things that this location failed to do. I won’t come back here.

Their fudge is always great! Rotating flavors, all the more reasons to stop in frequently.

Busy busy busy. Great selection of ice-cream as well as other treats. Just a good stop while on the town. Loved it.

This place is one of the only places open on the 16th street mall at night. The staff is super helpful and professional. The prices are way more than reasonable and the fudge and ice cream are so delicious!

Some really SWEET people work here. They even have a restroom for customers! A rarity in these parts!

A nice taste of Northern Michigan in downtown Denver. Having been to their Mackinaw City, MI store earlier this summer, I had to stop in & try their ice cream here on a hot holiday weekend. The ice cream was good, but a bit overpriced & ordinary for what I paid. Their fudge however is quite good, but Ive only purchased from their Mackinaw location, but assume its the same quality here.

Honesty is everything right. I have respect for myself and others and I dont feel its right for the product to be laid out on the table in view after hours and not covered or put away. Look at the cameras on the closing date of October 20th 2020 youll see Im not lying. Coming from a homeless man.✌

Get the Ice cream. The fudge and apples are gas as well. Good candy shop.

Yes it’s a little pricey..... but soooo worth it!!!! I had the Salted Caramel ice cream. It was heaven in a cup. Little miniature chocolate covered caramels in the ice cream. Dense and rich!
