After listening to me they promptly diagnosed my Ford ranger issues and called me with solutions and an extremely fair price! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of this repair!!! Meyer automotive in Derby KS has my business as long as these two professionals are working this establishment! 2 1/2 hours for an oil and fuel filter change when I was the only person there. Brought my own filters. They put oil in my after market fuel filters which ruined them. They didn’t know where the filters were located. Tried starting my truck without priming the fuel system which they continued until I heard what was going on and went out and stopped them. Had to show them how to prime the system. Didn’t realize I filled out an application for part time at their shop.

All Myers automotive employees are top notch people. My wife and daughter blew a tire on the way to Myers. The service writer Jacob jumped into action and helped them change a tire and get the vehicle to the shop. Myers will always have my business!!!!!

I wouldn’t take my car to be serviced anywhere else! The people at Meyer always give me good service, no matter my needs. They always give me the best prices in town and are quick with service. They are also very informational and don’t give you the run around regarding what is wrong with your vehicle. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

I waited a year before posting to ensure this review was just. Myers Automotive as a whole is probably a great company, but this shop in Derby led by Jody is not honest and against the customer’s best interest. I was deployed and my wife had vehicle issues, specifically a low oil pressure light. They said the repair for oil could be as simple as a new screen and sensor or as bad as a new engine. We were reported that the oil screen and filter had been replaced as well as the sensor, but metal shavings had been discovered and thus the engine was bad and needed replacing. The shop was so “generous” to offer us a few engines at a price range best for us. From a few past encounters at the shop, I wasn’t so trusting any longer. I became a AAA Premier member just to tow the vehicle 120 miles to a mechanic I know. When the tow truck arrived for our ready truck half of the engine was in the back of the truck DISASSEMBLED and our written service repair statement simply said customer declined repairs. Nothing written about the screen, sensor, or a now disassembled engine! My friendly mechanic from another town showed me the heavily used screen (not replaced) and the broken oil sensor (not replaced). Once those parts were installed the engine worked fine. Towing my truck to another mechanic saved me $10,000. My vehicle has had no other engine issues for a year and a half, and has been used on multiple road trips and to move across the country. Bottom line save yourself money and unneeded stress by going to another mechanic in Derby or Wichita.

Very honest, up front. Brake/Rotor repair on my Honda went very smoothly. They were in constant contact and didn’t push anything that was not needed.

Dont give them your phone number unless you want to be absolutely BOMBARDED by advertisements.

Great staff helped me with a prepurchase inspection on a used car I wanted to buy. They were able to squeeze me in on the same day I called and were very courteous and professional. They even showed me what they were looking for and inspecting throughout the process. Thanks for the great work!

We’ve used Myers a number of times over the years, but it’s gone very down hill. My oil change yesterday was $60, and they didn’t do a typical inspection to let us know they’d checked everything. Also, they don’t wash or vacuum like other places. It’s just not worth the cost anymore compared to other places. We’ve paid less, for more, at dealerships.

Had A Great experience with my visit. Had 4 tires taken off, and had them replaced with 4 new ones. Mounted and balanced, and they check your brakes, ball joints, all fluids, shocks, and air filter. Very Professional and Great Staff. Very Pleased, and I will definitely be coming back for all my car needs, and I live 30 minutes away! Thank you to you and the very Professional Staff!! 😎😎

A 100 stars would not be enough for this establishment. They are very compassionate and kind, trustworthy and just a amazing staff Especially Josh and Jordon! Jordon went above and beyond and made me feel like I was someone he knew his whole life. I will always bring my vehicles to them! I have had multiple issues with my vehicles over the past 3 years in which I could not afford to fix it RIGHT this second and they have always been fair and supportive. They have went above and beyond and not nickle and dime me cause I am a woman. They listened to my concerns and they addressed every issue and handled it like a real automotive place should. If I could send everyone I know anywhere it would be here!!! I Would trust them with any vehicle I ever own and will NEVER go anywhere else. I felt like I was with family when I brought my vehicle here. I can NOT say enough good things about this place. This location in Derby is one of the most dishonest shops in town! For 5 qts of synthetic blend that you can buy for under $30 they charged $53, plus $6 extra for oil filter that you can buy for same price and do it yourself. Then dont even fill out the mileage in/out on service record. Paid almost $70 for a $30 oil change and they cant even see the color of the car to list it correct on receipt. It is not a black car & supplies maybe cost a shop at most $10-15 not $50-60. Buyer beware. Go elsewhere for an oil change. Dishonest shop. Hope it goes out of business.

Took my car in for a brake change and engine check for a couple of noises and stutters. Ended up not needing brakes so they let me know instead of changing them and charging me anyway. Engine wasnt the issue on stutter I was feeling so I didnt get charged for unneeded engine work, it was transmission and they did a full service for much cheaper than expected. Highly recommend this place!

I thought that my brakes were ready to be changed out for new ones because when I stopped there was a high pitch squeaking every once in a while. I dropped my car off at Expert Auto and 15 min later I got a call telling me that my brakes had plenty of padding and that the squeaking is just because the type of brake pad I had on. They told me they could replace it if I wanted them to, but there was no need unless the squeaking really bothered me. I went back to get my car and pay for the service, but they said No Charge.I am a twenty year old female and I will be taking my car here for all my car services. They are very friendly and I feel very comfortable knowing they arent going to screw me over, I think most other auto places would have changed the pads without even thinking twice.

I just moved to wichita from NYC a year ago now. I looked at a 2000 Saturn on sale for 1000$. I had the car inspected at Myers upon being recommended by a friend. After the inspection, i was given an estimate and list of things to be repaired (2500$). I bought the car, and left it in the hands of the OWNER AND MECHANICS at Myers to help me to fix up, and drive my little car around town while i live here. (2 years). After a YEAR, and no return phone calls, i had no choice to take my car elsewhere because i knew at over 5,000$, and a year gone by, i was being ROYALLY SCREWED. I requested a list of every repair that was done on the car so i could determine that i was being scammed. Myers fixed the same problem 4 TIMES OR MORE, (why?) and never mentioned that i had a 2 YEAR WARRANTY.(to correct those problems) Myers also sent me away between brake jobs when i showed up and asked them to be checked! ( I WAS CONSTANTLY FRIGHTENED FOR MY BRAKES TO FAIL) ALEX told me each time not to worry, that it was just condensation. EVERY TIME? My brakes needed to be fixed FIRST FOR SAFETY. THE BRAKES WERE NOT FIXED AT ALL. The very first appointment was for brakes, and a year later, its last appointment, (FOR MY BRAKES), i was told it was going to be ANOTHER 6-700$ to keep fixing one problem that Midas fixed in 4 hours. THE BRAKES! Not only was i told by CHRIS MYERS that my car was finished-FOR THE SECOND TIME at my last appointment, but also mis-lead by JODI AND CHRIS mechanics. I took my car in repeatedly for a year and they did nothing. Or did they? WHERE ARE THE PARTS NUMBERS? WHO FIXED MY CAR?, AND ARE THESE PARTS NEW? USED? Today still no answer from JODI. Face to face Jodi literally told me he DIDNT CARE, ABOUT ANY OF IT. MY SAFETY FIRST plus acknowledging that i had more than doubled my estimate, and was still asking for more. He had NO ANSWERS. JODI REFUSED TO ISSUE ME THE INFO THAT IS LEGALLY NEEDED to report the condition of my car. Talking with JODI felt like dealing with a first grader, and had all of his unfinished homework (my car repairs), right in front of him, to explain to me, and couldnt. CHRIS AND JODI will tell you they have the BEST MECHANICS IN TOWN, and just blow you off. If this were true, why were there revolving mechanics that never seemed to work out, and was not their fault. (ALL of the mechanics are employees, JODI tells me today he wont take responsibility for them). There are so MANY WRONGDOINGS here that i have to stop now. I could write all night! MYERS SHOPS ARE LIARS AND CHILDISH THIEVES. I have every unanswered question for them still in front of me now, and the proof to backup every accusation i just made.

When I took my car in for a simple battery terminal repair they busted a hose to my power steering. He charged me $170 to repair that and would not take responsibility for the hose.

The emoloyees were nice but the work was completely unprofessional. We had an engine replaced with a remanufactured Jasper engine and when they installed it they did a horrible job leaving me stranded 3 times. The first was the cable that connects the gear shift to the transmission. I couldnt get my vehicle out of park. The tow truck driver put it back on for me and I had the AutoMD people check for any other problems. They said I was good to go. Then, 30 min later, black smoke came out of the tail pipe and the heat censor came on saying it overheated, Along with smoke coming out from under the hood. They sent the sweet young guy working the desk, in his personal vehicle, to pick me and my young child up. Then owner, Jodi, told me they would have my vehicle towed back in 30 min. and he suggested I get a rental. (I live 5hrs away) The local car rental had no cars so I had to wait. After 4 hrs they finally towed it into the shop and discovered they had not fully screwed on the pipe that attatches to the engine block feeding it coolant. There was coolant all over the engine and back side of my vehicle. They told me they were sorry for the errors and that they tested the engine to make sure it hadnt blown a head gasket. They gave me the all clear.NOW, It has been 2 weeks and my check engine light came on and the car is running rough. The error code suggests spark plugs, ignition coil, or a blown gasket. (All things that should have been new with the new engine) I wasnt going to give a negative review but given the current circumstances, I felt I needed to warn anyone who may come accross this place.
