This store is not to be judged from the outside. It is very clean and the shelves are generously stocked. It has a great selection of items to chose from and the employees are very helpful!! Not to mention, you can always find the sale items that are advertised, as advertised. Thanks ShopRite!! Keep up the good work!!

The Deli staffs could use training. Placed an order for ham and cheese using Deli Express with the options of thick slides for both. Two persons processed the order. One cut the ham and the other cut the cheese. Both came out thin slides. If the staffs wont read the details from the order then what is the point of having those options? Good thing it was just and cheese... Cant imagine if it a sandwich or something else that require more details.

I stay in this ShopRite they usually have good deals on many things. You can be in and out or end up waiting a bit depending on the time/day.

I stopped going to Stop & Shop because thier customer service is NOTHING compared to the EXCELLENT customer service I ALWAYS recieve while shopping at Shoprite!!!!

Last time I was in the ShopRite it was early on New years Eve. Was desperately trying to find jalapeno poppers and they were very very helpful. Is busy as they were everyone seemed to put the customers first. Would definitely go there again! And the prices are outstanding!! 🙂

Very clean and lots of variety. Did you know you can buy a whole lobster and they will boil it for free right there, ready to go in 15 minutes? Lobster rolls for dinner, yummy!

There hot foods are awful. The baked chicken had no seasoning..Yuck

An employee, Karen, made my holiday. I work for a charity and we were trying to supply a local family with a precooked Thanksgiving meal. She didn’t want us to pay full price and used another employees point to help this family. I wish everyone had the compassion and love of Karen. Thank you.

The bakery was excellent dionkee was amazing promote her to management she went above and beyond. I showed her a picture of the cake I wanted and she showed out love love love the design and the cake was sooo delicious and moist

Often times looks like a russian store and managers worthless do nothing for customer suggestions. But stop n shop really sucks

They are always neat and everything is always easy to find. Its one of my favorite places to shop and the best ShopRite around. The one in orange is so confusing and doesnt have the great selection the derby ShopRite has. I make it a point to plan a shopping trip there every time Im in the valley

The store is clean and well stocked, but its laid out so oddly its hard to find things. For instance greeting cards are in the middle of an area next to cold foods and produce, which makes no sense. I also couldnt find any area with healthy frozen meals. Everything is just hard to find.

I like this store. My primary destination for groceries. Staff, for the most part is helpful and professional. It needs to be spruce up a little though. A bit dingy and dated

ShopRite of Derby keeps products in stock on the shelves better than any other grocery store Ive been to. Employees are always pleasant and happy to help customers and the lines are never very long because they keep enough registers open no matter the time of day. Prices are also better than Big Y or Stop and Shop.

Messy, hectic atmosphere. Music was insanely loud and it was just generally loud when I was there. Weird layout, but pretty good prices.

I like buying my groceries from ShopRite in Derby. The store is clean, the employees communicate by walky talkies.The savings are better if your a coupon clipper such as myself. But, their digital coupons offer a lot as well. My cashier for checking out was Kya. She was friendly and fast with checkout. Also, the cart employees whom move carts out of the way were phenomenal. I saw only one cart that was left by a customer in the parking lot (and the lot is big). Overall, a good shopping experience.

I havent had the opportunity to visit my favorite Shoprite in Ansonia, CT, in a few years..finding myself in that neighborhood the other day, and needing a few things, I stopped in. As soon as I entered, I felt like I was home again!I remembered that being told to go Gluten Free by my Dr, caused me to go elsewhere for my groceries, quite a while back, but now, I was SO excited to find some GF brands that I love in many different flavors and varieties!I also caught a magnificent sale on frozen jumbo shrimp...a 2 lb bag for under $12.00..and we ALL know that shrimp is great for almost EVERY diet!I guess what I am trying to say, is that I am home again..the produce is fresh, the fish and meats bursting with flavor.. and COVID hasnt ruined anything about this wonderful shopping experience for this older American!

Always a pleasure to shop at shoprite. The young people at the registers are always helpful and courteous especially to the seniors. Purchased half gallon of milk that spring a leak. The gal at the courtesy desk saw that I wasnt up for walking all the way to the dairy section so she took it upon herself to help me and went to get my milk and save my 75 yr old bones from taking the long walk. Thanks shoprite. You guys are number one in my book. Jew. ❤

I have loved Shoprite since I was a young child. Ive never had an unfriendly worker. They have very affordable prices and great store brand / store made food. However, you must look at the dates on the food you buy carefully. They arent the best at rotating / removing out of date products. Id also advise not getting your deli meats/cheeses here. Too many times Ive had to return my cold cuts the next day because they were rotten.

My favorite place to shop. Fresh produce and meat. Wonderful customer service. They dont have every brand but they have great prices. Not sure I like the new addition of self service lines 😕 Ill have to take off half a star for that. They were better without them.

This place has gone down hill look what was in a italian combo called the store spoke with the manager could of cares less not the time with Covid-19 to have someones glob of hair in your food the person should have been fired on the spot yet they moved her to non food dept i dont understand

Handicapped carts always charged and available. Staff is always friendly, and willing to go the extra steps to help a customer out before we even ask for it. Food is fresh, well priced. Store is clean and stocked.

I purchased a welches drink, as I opened the cap of the carton I noticed the seal was missing and the liquid was not sweet as it’s supposed to be. Now I’m worried especially with COVID-19 going around.

Great cashiers always helpful with coupons. S&S gives me a hard time when I use no expiration date coupons but Shop Rite welcomes them. I figure my money spends everywhere so Ill go to the supermarket that makes my life easier.

With Stop and Shop strike and the holidays the staff was wonderful. The shelves were packed produce was fresh and so was the meat. All the cash registers were open and wait time was less than 10 minutes. Kudos Shop Rite.

The staff here are so professional and knowledgeable. If you dont know where something is, just ask. I am always able to go in and out in no time. Wonderful people, wonderful place.

Very clean and bright! This place is older than the beautiful Milford Shop Rite & could benefit from a major makeover but for being an older place, its got a shiny clean floor, neat/tidy isles, very good meat quantity and selection & good lighting. Its a pleasant place to shop and save $$.
