Nested between a coffee shop and a jewelry store in one of the busiest strip malls in town, Amphora consistently serves fresh delicious Greek food for all ages. They offer outdoor, indoor and bar seating. Extremely friendly staff makes for a great dining experience. Portions are abundant and they desserts are decadent. One of the area must try and recommend spots.

Definitely the worst hummus Ive ever had. Watered down little bowl and they plopped a filthy wedge of lemon in it with the rind side down. The pita bread was moist for some reason.

I was never the biggest fan of Greek food until I ate at Amphora. Mustve had 50+ meals here since then. Takeout is great, but highly recommend you dine there to get a wonderful experience from the fantastic staff, ambiance, and perfect portions.

My husband passed away, and for food after the services I ordered catering from this wonderful restaurant. What a great job they did, the food was piping hot and delicious!Thank you Amphora and staff, for making a difficult time easier.

So yummy! I love their salad dressing! The salads and gyros are so good. My only complaint is that the olives in the salads have pits!

Had a great meal here for a very reasonable price. Dress is casual. The lamb chop was delicious, but was an English cut so a bit more challenging to get the meat off. For simplicity, I think the lamb shank is better flavored and more food for less money. The eggplant frites are a necessity for an appetizer. I ordered a gift card by phone 10,11, or 12 days ago.It doesnt take that long to mail it from Derry to Haverhill. I put in a phone call only to have a note left for someone.The money was taken out of the account rather fast.All very disappointing. Now the person getting the card has left since his partywas last week. Now I have to mail it to him after the fact. Embarrassing.If I ever get the card, it shoud be more than I asked for my troubles. This was supposed to be simple.

Food was great! Only negative was the cook staff and managers were not wearing masks, and wait staff frequently took off their masks while on the floor (but thankfully replaced them when approaching a table). Overall very friendly staff and great food, would receive a 5 star review if they were better about COVID safety!

My wife and I started with the avgolemeno soup and the kreatopita. I am Greek and I know there are different ways to make the same Greek dishes. I wish the soup was a little thicker by adding more eggs and maybe a little more pasta, but the flavor was good. The kreatopita had good flavor and the fillo was crisp, but the portion was small. We wound up splitting the lamb kabob pita pocket and it was very good. The lamb was tender, had really good flavor and was a perfect medium. The waitress did a good job and was friendly.

This place has extraordinary service and yummy food. One of my favourite restaurants ever. The food arrived quickly and the prices were reasonable. I recommend this place.

Order the gyro with the crispy eggplant. Its insanely delicious. Probably the best gyro Ive ever had. The fries are also incredible. They are seasoned well and have such a great flavor. For dessert weve tried the backlava cheesecake and were very impressed. This place is definitely worth trying. You wont be disappointed.

I love Amphora. I consider this restaurant to be the best in Derry and a hidden gem. The food is amazing, the staff are great, and the atmosphere is so nice. Ive been coming here since high school and dont have any plans to stop. Its a favorite date spot for my boyfriend and me.

The food at Amphora is consistently very good, no matter what you order. Ive been several times, both dining in and for takeout and have never been disappointed. Food is always fresh, portions are good sized and prices are reasonable. Service is always excellent. I also recommend you grab a bottle of their salad dressing to bring home, its that good! This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area and there are a wide range of menu items to try.

Absolutely delicious. I get lunch here often because it is affordable. I’ve also used Amphora to cater and everyone raved about the food. They have some of my favorite simple dishes that are so flavorful and light. The salad dressing is worth the price to bring a bottle home. It’s a must try.

Lunch time today i went here to order a spinach pie and a lamb kabob with pilaf rice and a Greek salad excellent food cooked perfectly the lamb was heavenly. Delicious food and the girl who works there is very friendly and professional the owner is awesome 👍 and explained to me about Greek Mythology and the beautiful paintings that they had on the wall. These people that work here treat you like family and respect their customers and i like that i will be returning to this restaurant their prices are good and reasonable. Amphora catered an event for our office celebration and it was a huge hit! The food was excellent and nicely displayed- everyone was raving about it. We will definitely be looking forward to having them cater our next big event.

Food is great here. However, they do not have pricing updated on their website menu or on the wall menu inside the restaurant. Website listed Gyro pita sandwich for $8.25, board was $8.50, but the actual price charged was $9.50. If you dont mind this kind of surprise you will love eating here.

My Dad introduced me to this wonderful dining establishment. The food is exceptional. The owner is extremely friendly and walks around to check on his guests. My Dad asked him a few questions. One in particular was about how to cook one of the dishes. He explained it to my Dad. Another time, I was meeting my Dad there again for lunch and the owner remembered me, which is a great quality in a restaurant owner.The place is located in a strip mall. It is clean and modestly decorated. Outside seating is available during the warmer New England months.Enjoy a great meal made by the owner himself. You will be back. Its my new favorite spot to meet my Dad for lunch.

This was our first visit, for dinner, to this restaurant. My wonderful hairdresser from firefly salon recommended this greek restaurant. Its amazing! The staff are friendly the service was great, the waitress was wonderful! The food, DELICIOUS! Serving sizes are perfect, the price is great. Although it is a small, quaint restaurant, it is one you dont want to pass by! If you havent been there yet....Go!

Ate dinner last night which was not stellar. The pastichio I got was 2 inches by 3 inches in size, dry and burnt on the bottom. I was disappointed as I have had this dish before which it typically fantastic.

Found via web search. Small but bright, welcoming, not fancy atmosphere. Wonderfully friendly and efficient wait staff. In a shopping plaza so plenty of parking. Looked like outside seating available. Excellent variety of cold & hot appetizers, salads, sandwiches, main entrees and deserts. I have no knowledge of Greek wine but large selection available as well as beer and other drinks. Prices very reasonable. I eat small portions so 2 appetizers did the trick. Wife loved the gyro sandwich. Seasons fries are 4 star. Took desserts to go. Purchased the fish with mushrooms and sauce wrapped in filo to go for daughter @ home. UMMMM Heavenly! I would love to give a hugh shout out to the Manager of Amphora. He treated myself and my co worker to a very delicious dinner Saturday night. He came into my place of employment and my co worker and myself waited on him. He asked me if I liked chicken, I replied yes and as he was leaving the store, he phoned in two orders of chicken, rice and side salads. He returned minutes later with the orders . Out of the kindness of his heart. The food was amazing ! I will be sure to pay this kindness forward !! I will definitely put this delicious restaurant at the top of my list for sure ! We have enjoyed Amphoras food for a while now, but a recent experience was very upsetting. We placed a pick up order (we live about 20 minutes away), and our order was missing two main entrees. I called and their solution was to get a discount on the next visit... (so two people werent going to have dinner tonight?). In addition our fried feta was burnt. When I got back after another 20 minutes of driving, I got a single dessert for my troubles. This was not adequate compensation and Im very disappointing...

This place is stellar. If it was in a better location it would be much better known as 5 star Greek dining. The food is amazing, proportions sizes near perfection with an awesome unique taste. It would be my top pick for a restaurant to add to a list of healthy fine dining choices. Is a bit pricey but you certainly get what you pay for. Honestly the best Greek food you can get here in NH, since the owner Peter is greek himself and very much involved in his restaurant! Prices are fair, for food quality, waitresses are always kind and wait is acceptable. Parking is also free!
