Originally I just planned to look around but noticed they had really good prices and had exactly what I was looking for. They where really helpful and made my experience very enjoyable.

I am giving a 5-star review to a place Ive never been! My son lives in NH and has a gun he wanted to transfer to me via a dealer in MA. I called Chester Arms and the gentleman with whom I spoke was extremely friendly, informative and helpful. They made the process go smoothly and VERY quickly. I had the firearm 2 days later!I had contacted other shops that didnt want to give me any help at all. It was becoming a big problem until I contacted Chester Arms. They were simply great!

Great little shop in Derry NH. Its a slice of old school New England; like being on the front porch with a couple of characters ... except with cool guns. John is a super nice guy who found me just the right Chiappa Rhino. Made me feel welcome back in New England among my people after wandering in the outer darkness on the left coast.

Me and my boyfriend went in looking for his 1st gun today, he was initially interested in a glock 19 gen 4 but ended up seeing in store a glock 19 gen 5 and knew that was his decision! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a firearm from their online store, and it arrived the next day. Despite the late hour, they had no problem with me coming in just before closing to allow me to pick up my new firearm. It was a completely hassle-free experience from beginning to end. The only drawback is that its way too easy for me to spend money now. Oh well.

Great family business

I called the gun shop looking for a particular revolver. John had the model in stock. I told him I didnt get out of work until 6 and I work on the seacoast, he said that he didnt mind waiting. When I got there he had the revolver ready for me to look at and he answered any questions I had. Even though he was there well after hours he did not rush me. He waited until all of my questions were answered to do the check for me. Everything went fine and I left with a beauty. Cant wait to go to the range :-)

Chester arms had the rifle I was looking for used... The owner couldnt find the box or magazine right away but called me back a few days later to tell me he found everything... He kept his word and got me the items I had asked for very pleased with the service!

Purchased my first gun on-line and had it shipped to Chester Arms. John was very helpful when I went to pick it up. He actually looked up his cost of the gun I purchased and let me know he could have gotten it cheaper for me. I will know next time to go see John first when I am in the market for another.

Went in for the first time last weekend, For a weapon for my wife. She owns a Glock 19 and is having issues with how she shoots it, long and short she was looking for a different weapon. John patiently asked pointed questions, showed her many weapons that would fit her small hands and she ended up getting a Ruger SR22. He also moved her magazine release from eight to left on her glock, just while we were standing there chatting. Great experience and very knowledgeable.

I recently visited Chester Arms in Derry New Hampshire and met the owner John. I was very pleased with the customer service I received. I got a fair deal on the 38 I had and used it towards the purchase of a Glock 40 I wanted to make my collection of Glocks I like complete. Excellent service and was very well pleased with Chester Arms. I will recommend it to all my friends that buy firearms.
