Well, another hump day not so happy hour at the home despot. Sorry, I meant home Depot, but Im thinking the latter, rather than the former, although, it would be more apropos. Once again another kerfuffle, snafu, screw up, or, just a lazy employee wasting my time giving me the wrong information that I had asked for when calling originally to save some time. I asked for, one quart Amber shellac, and she said, Why yes, I have Amber shellac. I said, wow, thats amazing because, youre the only one in town that has it cuz, I cant seem to get it anywhere else. Ill be right in. Of course, when I get there she had shellac all right, unfortunately, it wasnt Amber and thats what I had asked for. Now, they did have three quarts of clear Shellac but, its not what I wanted and I asked her about it I said well, maybe, you have some in the back??? cuz, I called, and asked somebody About the availability of this product, and they said, you had it but, I dont see it back there, so I thought maybe you might have some in the back storage area??? she said, no, I put it all out. and she walks back there with me and she says, well, when you called me, there were three Amber back there.Well, I have to admit there were three clear but I didnt see any Amber and neither did my helper who also needed some for himself, and and Im pretty sure it wasnt flying off the shelf that fast but, maybe it was. you know, I could be wrong. So, I will never, ever, ever, ever, never go to the home Depot again. NEVER!!!! buyer beware.
Just moved to the south side and pretty much much made home Depot my home away from home. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Pretty much has everything Im looking for I highly recommend!!
Getting appliances from this Home Depot has been the most frustrating transaction I have ever been a part of. I am 2 weeks behind on the delivery they were supposed to make. Three times they have told me it is coming. Three times I have had to take time off work, and three times all the parts have not been delivered. If I trusted them to refund me the correct amount I would cancel my order, but I have a feeling they couldn’t handle a refund properly either. I will never use this location again and I advise others not to as well.
Had exactly what I was looking for. Employees saw I was having trouble finding it, and they came to me. No for real! I was helped without having to wander half the store trying to catch up to an employee! Wonderful customer service today. Quick checkout, no issues.
This is your average home supply/project store. Prices are reasonable and they do offer a large selection of name brand items. I have always received good service, and appreciate the experienced personnel. It is a good alternative to other such businesses. There’s ample parking, with mostly well stocked items. You can shop in a clean environment and find most everything you need.
Stopped in for one inexpensive item and was having trouble finding it. Lawney listened to what I needed and took me to another part of the store where it was. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Home Depot will be my home store now.

Two employees told me that what i wanted wasnt available but the website said there was 9 in stock. Until I met Manny, I had almost given up hope, but he never gave up even after being told another employee didnt see any ubtil he found it in a different department.

Was there to just check on cost and selection of carpet. Service was good. Even though we werent planning on purchasing right then the lady was still very helpful and told us ways to save and still have the same quality carpet in the end!!

Curbside pickup is really slow! I waited over 10 minutes before I called the store, which was another 5-7 minutes on hold before I was able to speak to a live person and ask for my order to be brought out! I wont use curbside pickup that often.

I have never been here before. The man that put my walker in his vehicle didnt come in but I decided to walk while pushing a grocery cart instead.I wasnt able to find a ceramic heater but different members of the staff helped me find the items I needed which I was able to get.
I much prefer University over this one, but if you know what you need and can get it without bothering an associate, you’ll be fine. Some of the staff is knowledgeable, some are not.

Shopping experience was not great, the lumber side of the store was an obstacle course. So much merchandise in the middle of the aisles couldnt get to anything without going completely around to the other end of aisle and then you couldnt get your cart though. Waste of time and effort for know reason. Unacceptable in my opinion. Find a new location for online orders or make acceptable space to navigate the aisles. Thanks

I always go to Home Depot for all of my DYI projects.
Usually I am a fan of the Depot, but this one has been a disappointment, from out of stock items not related to the pandemic, associates who, with one exception, were uninterested in helping, to the relatively half-planned layout that was nothing like any other HD that I have been to. I give it three because it’s still a Home Depot, but it lost two stars for customer service (lack thereof) and stock.
Went to get spring supplies and employees are helpful and give great advice. I will be back

I have a love hate relationship with this store. Southside businesses need our money but the products have gotten worse and worse. Staff does a good job but are very limited knowledge wise. Regardless they will get my money cause lord knows thats all we need is another business going under

Spent an hour picking out carpet, and padding, and going over all the details with the carpet installation employee. Scheduled an appointment for them to come out and measure for next Monday. They called this afternoon (the Friday before) and told me that because I didnt pay a $50 deposit for the measuring (that I wasnt asked to pay and didnt know was required) that they wouldnt be coming. I asked if I could pay over the phone, and was told no. I asked if I came in and paid if they would still come Monday and was told no. I understand things are crazy right now but I really dont understand not being able to pay the deposit over the phone and why they couldnt have contacted me before they cancelled my appointment. I would have gladly paid the deposit when I was at the store for an hour. I rarely leave negative reviews but there was no effort on Home Depots side to rectify the situation so I recommend looking elsewhere for carpet.

I normally dont go to this location, but recently purchased an item online for pickup, and this was the only store within driving distance that had the item. Even though I did not leave my car, I was impressed with their signage for the designated pickup parking spots and the service I received.

Andy, rude manager. This completely wipes out the 5 star I had given from another rime when the manager was helpful and courteous. Andy, however, was rude and arrogant. After waiting ove 5 minutes for my curbside pickup of 1 small item, it was brought to me without a bag. I needed a bag. So he went back in and got one, and I asked if the receipt was in there. No, he said I would get an email (which I never did). So he had to make ANOTHER trip to get that. I dont see why it was so difficult to get 1 item. When I needed to use the item the next day, IT WAS THE WRONG COLOR. So I then dealt with Andy. No compromise (even though it was their fault). I live less than 10 minutes away so why could he have one of his minions just swap it out for me at my home? I leave it outside, he swaps and knocks so I know. Oh, no. Andy quit listening a long time ago. He was one of the rudest boys I had ever spoken to there. No customer service skills. I did tell him what I thought of him at the end of the call and I hop he sees this.
They are very helpful and kind! Even when a slow poke like me is on one of their handicapped carts during the last 15 minutes they are open! Never even a hint that I was unconvincing any one of them! 🤗

Ordered stuff for curbside pickup. Called to get order status. I was told it was ready and pick up was available until 8. I got there and called. I was told I have to come in. My wife and I have been doing curbside pickup for EVERY store since March. Since were high risk for COVID.So I had to walk in. The order wasnt ready. When i was told it was.Though I had a mask on, I felt like I was exposed for no reason. Why else did I order for curbside pickup?I got a refund. But I feel the employees dropped the ball.

Today, my daughter and I had the displeasure of visiting this Home Depot. It started out ok. Unfortunately, not many people were wearing any form of masks. Including employees. We only saw 3 employees actually wearing them.The staff in the garden center was quite rude and had no respect for social distancing. We were looking for lawn mower blades, when we were ask to clear the aisle so they could get something down. That’s fine, I don’t have a problem with that, but be ready to go with your forklift when you ask us to leave. We waited around for almost 10 minutes just to get back in the aisle! Then, when they were done, they only opened up one end of the aisle, so we had to walk around (thru the next aisle over) to get to it.The staff was very rude when I asked where I could find lawn mower blades and commented on not being able to hear me though my “big mask”. I was wearing a respirator as it’s all we have. Multiple times the staff came within 6 ft of me and/or my daughter with no masks nor any regard to the fact that we were trying to stay away and be as safe as possible.When we did find the lawnmower blade area, they were in complete disarray. I spent almost another 10 minutes just trying to sort out sets of blades to find the ones I needed.I understand that most people are stressed and probably a least a bit frazzled right now, but that doesn’t give you the right to be rude to anyone, let alone customers, at your job. I also understand and respect that everyone has their own right to choose whether or not to wear a mask/face covering. However, when someone is clearly trying to protect themselves and others by staying away, you should do your best to respect their choice. I would have gone elsewhere, however no one else in town sells the ones I needed. We will be happy to take our business to Menards where the staff and customers practice social distancing and are required to wear masks.Also, I tried to send this to The Home Depot corporate, but they do not have a “contact us” on their website that I could find.

Ordinarily I consider Home Depot to be my go to store, but this time I was disappointed with the lack of service we received. There needs to be more employees available in the gardening department in the morning. We needed some bushes and had to take them to the regular registers because the register in the garden department was not open and customer service would not ring them up. I know this seems like no big deal other than we did not get a cart thinking the garden center was open....be open 100 percent or not at all.
A fairly well-kept store, they could use some work on their customer service skills. If I were only taking store condition into consideration, this store would win over Menards down the street. Beyond that, this store strikes out on almost all other aspects. Customer service is particularly poor here, prices are disproportionately high on identical/comparable items at Menards. The one perk I can outright give a thumbs up to is that they have an indoor lumberyard, but with that being said, they lack the vast options that Menards outdoor lumberyard offers. This is a good store for the weekend warrior who needs something fast and doesnt mind dealing with the staffs bad attitude and higher prices.
Worst customer service ever!!Went in to buy $1000 tool box but couldnt find anyone that could tell us if they had one in stock!! Customer service personnel were too busy talking to take the time to check!!!!NEVER AGAIN!!! WE WILL GIVE OUR BUSINESS TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!
