Employee customer service is excellent. They are very helpful. When there are long lines they do their best to be personable yet efficient .

We used the can center this trip. The return room was full and only one glass hopper was functional. After a quick call to customer service a representative was changing out two machines due to full bags. One of the can machines had to be sprayed out the can roller was sticking. All in all it took around 8 minutes to get the machines up and running again.

Always people in parking lot that have mental issues or are on some sort of drug. Feel unsafe.Inside store okay. Stocked well.Do not intend to return unless absolutely necessary for helping a friend who lives near.

Hy-Vee is a high tech grocery store that provides awesome shopping experience online or in store. I like their selection of goods from banana chips to goat milk soaps. It’s amazing what I can find here.

I was standing at the seafood counter waiting my turn. The employee finished up with the customer in front of me and then walked away. I thought for sure hed be right back so I continued to stand there. While Im waiting 2 other meat department employees made eye contact with me and still did not acknowledge me! The original employee? Talking to his coworkers! I was the only only person standing at the meat counter! SMH!After 51 years of being a Hy Vee customer and having a mother retire after 40 years from Corporate..... FAREWAY will get my business going forward!

When it comes to the pharmacy at the south ridge location I didnt want to select a star at all but I had to in order to post this. Ive been using Hy-Vee Down town for 2 yrs n their amazing there but for convenience Ive switched bc I literally live 4 minutes down the road n I actually enjoy shopping in the store. Im not the one who complains n bothers but this wasnt the 1st time n now Ive had ENOUGH! I call in the a.m to fill my meds they say no prob well get that ready for u. Then I call in the afternoon n some1 diff says that there not ready n matter fact that they dont have them in stock. I said thats a lie u better check again. She comes back on to say well 2 of them we can do partials n I said thats fine. How long? 30 minutes. So I get there n ALL my meds were accounted for n the 2 partials were sealed. Im so sick n tired of ppl who dont want to do their job. Hy-Vee DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!

The only complaint I have is their prices are a little high. I only go there occasionally. The store is always clean, employees are very helpful. They have pretty much every thing you need. I just wish they came down on their prices. My parents shopped at Hy-Vee, I shopped there when I was a young adult and prices back then were affordable.

Great staff, almost nothing you cant find,as hy-vee sells an extremely large selection of meats and grocery products.

Employees are curtious and very nice. Order from bakery and the cake was awesome. Also meat counter person was knowledgeable and friendly as well.

Thank you to the guy working in the deli tonight!! I walked in to Hy-Vee with every intention of having to cook dinner tonight. Went to look at the deli and asked about the ribs. He said I just pulled some out of the smoker! Would you like me to get you a rack of them? After 40 hours already this week. Thank you for going above and beyond.

The cat litter I had bought was in a tub, and the tab broke to open it. I wasnt able to pull any more of it, and I have arthritis. There wasnt any way I could figure out how to open it. I normally buy the box because I can open it, but the store was out (sale). I was very frustrated and angry so I email my experience to the store. Within 1 hour I got a call from (Chard?). He was very polite and said had have a driver bring a different one, and the box variety if they had any. A young lady showed up with the box type. I had drug the other out and was prepared to give it to her, but she said to keep it.Thank you Hy Vee Army Post for being so nice and helping me so quickly.

Hy-Vee is great! They have great customer service and the best variety of products, including some that I never thought I would find states side. It is nice to be able to get products from some of the countries I visited while serving. My only complaint is that prices tend to be a little higher than their competitors, but sometimes it is worth it for the great customer service and the variety.

I frequent this Hyvee also because they dont always have the same things or sale prices. They have the same helpful smiles and they have a Starbucks.

Very friendly Pharmacy staff! Overall this store is very clean and they always have a great selection of anything you would want. Staff is very nice and helpful. We shop there several times a week and are happy customers

Everyone is always very courteous here. One guy in particular, hes mute and deaf but that doesnt stop him from being the brightest ray of sunshine! I absolutely adore that kid and I dont even know his name. That smile of his, before covid, could light up an entire stadium. The other cashiers are really nice too.

The worst pharmacy experience of my life. I used this pharmacy for over a year. I called a week in advance every time to remind them to fill my meds. But, every month I showed up and they would not have them in. I asked them to at least call when they weren’t going to be filled on time so I didn’t have to drive there. They never did. All of my prescription dates were messed up because they never had them in. Every month I had to drive there 3 or 4 times just to pick up my medicine. They were also rude nearly every time I called to attempt to get them filled. I have never received so much push back from a pharmacy in my life. If you want to feel judged for the medicine you take. This is the place to go to.

It’s really just their deli is terrible. 10 bucks for burnt chicken. 10 bucks for one scoop of Chinese food. Rude employees but nice managers. The lady with hardly any teeth at counter of deli could stand to use some customer courtesy classes. Also if someone gets a rack of ribs and your only allowed to give a one oz jar of sauce to go along with it why bother. Cheap store, unreasonably high prices.

I like the meat counter. Many selections and the service is quick. The bathrooms are great if you need to use one and are always clean. The self serve check out machines need some work- they are cumbersome to use, always nagging you about placing items in the bagging area, lock up for no reason saying clerk assistance is needed and often are simply out of service. WalMart has MUCH better machines. The dining area is absolutely great EXCEPT if you go in for coffee later in the day- the dispenser heat is turned off and the coffee is cold. People dont drink coffee only in the morning.

This hyvee is dollars per product more expensive than other hyvees.This hyvee also wont carry any seeded fruit especially grapes. Told me themselves that they think all plants should be hit with enough radiation to make them seedless before consumption. That last part I ad-libed they didnt really have the cajones to say that lol but could you imagine if they did?

Yes we did a Hersheys reset there major Store look immaculate and the stores are very nice and theyre getting huge people very nice yeah coffee there any time you want us like a Starbucks stop and get you one

My bf was carrying a 12 pack of pop when it tore open and the cans rolled out on the floor. Malcom an employee must of noticed it and brought us back a new case right then. We really appreciate the awesome service!

I would have loved to be able to buy hyvee brand string cheese. As it is the best. It was either out of stock covered by another product. The aisle were clean. Once again the hyvee cheese is the best.

The store itself was clean and tidy and everyone appeared to be wearing a mask. However, bottle and can redemption room was a different story. Typically, I like this location for returning bottles and cans, because its clean. Tonight was a different story and we were the first in there! Im not sure how long the riom had been empty prior to our arrival, but it would have been the perfect time for someone to run a mop over the floor even if briefly. I also wasnt a fan that no one was enforcing mask wearing in that room. An employee did come out, at one point, but didnt say anything to the men not wearing masks, other than to tell them to clean up after themselves. (They had left a mess of empty bags and boxes on the floor, not in the proper waste receptacle.)

Not a bad Hy-Vee. Clean and employees are relatively nice however they tend to run out of stock often as well as when new products come out, they seem to get it last. Some of the name brand items seem a but more costly. Walmart has the same thing for less.

Just walked in to get first Covid shot. Took very little time, no appointment neededHad two options for brand of vaccine.

Hy Vee SE 14th and Army Post Rd is a very busy place. The employees help a lot and the food is all centralized. The dining Aria is always clean and resemblance of a restraunt dinning room.The Hy Vee has a excellent pharmacy Aria is easy to find. The restrooms are always maintained and well surprising luxurious. Yea I know everyone goes for the restrooms right? Just kidding, but it still stands, the restrooms are nice.Parking lot is just magnificent and you are going to find parking available. The grounds are clean and maintained.COVID19 procedures are in place and enforced. That alone should set many people at ease.Being located at 14th and Army Post means 5 minutes from I-235 and within 20 minutes of the Iowa State Fairgrounds.The only downside is that Hy Vee is not open 24-7 anymore, I honestly miss that. Thats just me being selfish though I guess.The simple fact is this Hy Vee ROCKS. Thanks for your letting me express how grateful I am for you asking me, this honestly is an honor, Don.

I had to wait an hour to pick up a door dash order and the manager was kind but the staff that came out were extremely rude and didn’t seem to care. After an hour of waiting they told me I could wait longer or unselect the order. Truly ridiculous. Awful experience I would advise anyone picking up groceries from here to go somewhere else.

Shopping Carts are dirty and out of stock foods

Had to drive there several times lately because Park Ave. Hy-Vee (which is 3 blocks away) is always out of products that I use on a regular basis. My only issue with this location is that there is not enough handicapped parking close to entrance/exit.And employees are scarce when you need help finding things.

I dont like their policy about not having to wear mask when you come into their establishment. The coronavirus is still very active and it is very unsafe for people to be out in public without masks. I will not visit any business where I feel my health is in danger.

Love a planogram store because you can find everything in a jiffy. Some items are pricey but if you look, there are some good sales.

As a store its nice which is why I give the 3 stars. But the staff in the kitchen Italian and Mexican area is lack luster.I went in at 5pm for dinner with the family and the food ingredients in the Mexican area for the burritos looked dried out, commented on that fact to the staff member to which they agreed and simply offered Italian instead.So we went to Italian, I asked if they could make me a calzone fresh, since I feared the current ones were also 4 hours old. The response I got was sorry no, Id have to thaw the dough.Lets say this was not an impressive experience.

Produce was not fresh. All of the romaine lettuce had expired dates on the packages. Spoiled cantaloupe and bell peppers on the verge of being spoiled.
