I took my car here after an accident, the insurance company gave me this shop as an option. I was some what skeptical when pulling in. But after 1.5 weeks I received my car back looking like she was fresh off the shower room floor! Tom and his crew are amazing! Very professional! Very responsive!

Recently had my 2012 Honda Odyssey repaired at this shop. My insurance is State Farm and they are one of the preferred shops to work with. Phenomenal body shop to get any kind of work done to your car. Unbelievably the best customer service and they accept almost every insurance. They keep you updated as they work on your car. Ive been going to Bob for years and not one complaint! Highly recommend this place!

We had such a great experience at this place. Our 2020 Hyundai Palisade was hit while we were parked, and we were worried that it would never be the same as before. We were directed to Auto Center of Des Plaines and were glad we went there. They were easy to work with, upfront about the process, handled everything with insurance, and delivered the car when they promised. Our Palisade is white with a pearl finish, and they made it look like nothing ever happened. Very impressed and very thankful.

Recently brought my car here after someone rear ended me. Took them about a week to fully repair my car, and it looked brand new with OEM parts and a nice inside and outside detailing they did for my car. Couldn’t have been happier with the repair.

This place is great!! . Unfortunately i had to see them twice in 1 year with my son just starting to drive and all .. When I 1st went there they were extremely helpful and professional and made the hassle of dealing with insurance claim easy. Service was great and timely. The second time I needed bodywork done I chose to go to them again and was equally happy with with the work! Hopefully I wont be needing these services again any time soon but if i do, I ‘ll know where to go😂!!! I highly recommend them!

Unprofessional and liars. They stated they would need 1 week to fix my car. After 4 days, I called for a status update, and they claimed to be working thru the details with insurance and still hadn’t started on the car. I called insurance and nothing this body shop said, matched what my insurance company said. 4 days of having my car and they didn’t lift a finger, not even a courtesy call to tell me what’s going on. Why did they have to keep my car to work all that out with insurance? I picked my car up, and drove it to a shop around the corner to another shop. They took photos immediately, told me they would contact insurance, and once everything was set with insurance, they would call me to confirm service dates. Now that’s professionalism! Avoid this place, I wish I could give them 0 stars.

The best body shop ever. I had 2 accidents in 2 months :( and I used Autocenter both times. They fixed my car just like new. Honestly it looked just like new when it drove off the showroom floor. I have never seen such amazing work before. Thank you so much.

I had a great experience! My car was ready 2 days earlier than anticipated, and they washed it inside and out, which was completely unexpected. My front and rear bumpers were damaged when I was rear-ended. The insurance company wanted the collision center to repair the front bumper, but Auto Center of Des Plaines ate the cost of a new bumper to make sure my car looked like new when I got it back. The paint matches fantastically, and it looks better than the day I bought it. Im planning to take my wifes car there for some quarter panel repairs because Im so satisfied.

Horrible service! they use aftermarket products and charge for origal products. this shop is a scam! stay away!

I feel like I have marked my spot as the worst customer of the year 2018 :-(Not proud to say so.The auto body center helped me to fix my car’s front bumper in Oct. I was extatic to have my car looking sharp again. Things unfortunately went down the hill when only two weeks later my car was hit and run on the parking lot in front of my job. That day I got out of work late at night and drove about two blocks when I heard some pulling noise which I thought I drove over a branch but it wasn’t, it was my same fixture bumper dragging on the street.My first only reasoning thinking since I new I have been super careful driving, that the bumper was not properly installed. I called local police and they couldn’t even make a report since we didn’t have any evidence car was in the actual accident but I got helped to get my car back on the road. I was in rage and stopped payment to above business honestly thinking that they were at false. Next morning I have received call from auto body shop and I was told that it’s not possible for the bumper to fall without a actual impact and oh boy they were RIGHT! Same day a coworker brought to my attention that a car got hit on the parking lot and no one knew who it belonged to. The person who damaged my car after finding out that store cameras didn’t reach that far simply took off leaving me with all the drama to handle. First thing I did I filed police report for hit and ran and released payment to auto center who was not at fault Iin any way but on top of it I got helped with proper estimate and my car was temporarily fixed without charge so I can drive it safely till is scheduled to be fixed.Can’t apologize enough to auto body center for all the trouble these situation caused them and can’t thank them enough for all the help I have received even though it was not their job to do so. I would say that we all make mistakes but honestly pays back in 1000 ways.I would think twice before I react but service like auto body shop is 1 in a million.Thank you again for all your patience with me and wishing you all the best with the great job you already do. They took very excellent care of my Lexus. Also explained how the insurance works very well so that i could save some $$$. They know what theyre doing.

So i called them and they promised my car would look like new. Sure enough they finished it and looks great same color matching panels it looked like just came out of the showroom when i bought it. I have Audi TT, silver metalic. I had it fixed before by a different body shop but they didnt match the color right. Auto Center of Des Plaines corrected it without any problem and fixed all scratches and dents. It doesnt even show that it was repainted. Its difficult to find this location but its worth it ! And I even didnt have to deal with the insurance ! They did it for me !
