There Queso (liquid cheese) is always cold!! i love their nachos and hot cheetos w/ queso but everytime i visit this location they give me cold cheese or barely warm

Good place, certainly better than its competitor on Oakton Street and better prices. It does get busy, and people order a lot, but the wait isn’t too bad on busy days. The younger girls have this legging obsession I’ve never seen in any where else, it was like -16 once and they had leggings haha . Definitely better than Oakton tho, and they have more people working too, usually. I like this place and try to leave tips when I can. Im that dude that always gets like 2-3 corn in a cup lmao. They speak both english and Spanish. Don’t be shy if you’re a non spanish speaker. They don’t bite, and the ice cream is bomb. Funny story, there’s a girl that works here and for some reason every time I come in shes making corn and then I order even more corn, so I was going to give her a $20 tip right? Because she’s ALWAYS making corn and my corn. So she checks me out and I buy my corn, she quickly turns to attend the next customer and I say “wait” (so I can give her the tip) but unfortunately as she was turning around I SAW HER roll her eyes 👀. Like dayum lol you messed up, so then I was just like “can I get another spoon”? Anyways they are very friendly here. Shout out to the guys in the back who get no love. Y’all appreciated. I always feel welcome here.

Love this lil spot I discovered while in the area for work. Best ice cream, homemade popsicles and ice cream bars. Love the Mexican street corn and they adjoin a grocery and restaurant. Wish had one in my neck of the woods. Oh the the chocolate dipped bananas with nuts are fantastic. I’ll always be hitting this place up every time I come to the area. Wish I had dry ice take them back home with me.

I used to love coming to this corner spot all the time. But I am not sure if they changed ownership or what really happened but now just to get a Popsicle it takes over 30 min. The poor staff tried their best but sometimes there are only 2 or 3 people and for the amount of clients that is just not enough. It makes me sad to see how this delicious spot has gone the wrong direction

They had a variety of popsicles aka paletas but i asked her if guava had milk. I am lactose intolerant, i ate the guava thinking there wasnt milk and i got sooo sick. Please make sure you train your workers on the ingriedients because people can have allergies and diabetics also because milk raises sugar in high doses . Jesus christ.

W always end up getting nachos, elotes and a scoop of ice cream. Usually come here as a family, with wife, parents, nephews and my bro and his wife. We always leave week a smile. So many flavors to choose from.

Go to the Michoacana on E. Oakton St. Bad service. And their yogurt is watered down. Ive had bad experiences with this particular store time and time again. People will jump the line and employees will not acknowledge that its happening.They need a better system for when theres a long line. Ive given this store multiple chances but they show special preference to certain customers and employees. My daughter has had terrible service here as well and she will drive an extra 4 minutes to the one on Oakton.

Bottom line don’t waste your time, go to the Michoacana on Oakton St. they have better prices and they give better customer service. This particular Michoacana has terrible service when it comes to serving their customers. A friend of an employee might jump in front of you and your 10-15 minute wait will turn into a 30 minute one. It’s obvious that the owner hirers friends and friends of friends.I called to find out the name of the woman that gave my mother bad service when she allowed three men to jump in front of her after she had been in line for 10 minutes. I didn’t receive it or was able to speak to the manager. The lady that was on the phone was friendly enough but she refused to give me the manager to even her name.

Had a taste for an elote came in this location, not the first time Ive came in. Not the best service or corn I ever received, I just came because of the convenience. I waited over 10 mins, then I see another customer getting something similar that I order and was paying and ready to go. Disorganized the corn isnt fresh or too much chilli is on it which is unbearable. Go to the other LaMichocana on Oakton in Des Plaines. Ive gave this location chance after chance it never fails its always an issue. The Des Plaines location is literally 3 to 4 minutes away if your driving. Ive lived in this neighborhood for over 16 years. Bad service overall I will never come back in this place!!!
