7 Greens is a perfect addition to the lunch line-up in Detroit! So fresh, so flavorful, and locally sourced ingredients. We tried the Popeye and Modern Proper. Both were great! Big portion size for a reasonable price, too. Can’t wait to head back and try the smoothies and toasts. The open window and sidewalk seating are clutch for this awesome Spring weather heading our way. And, everyone is SO friendly. Huge props to the woman behind the counter who was working alone at the time and serving several folks in line. She was so nice, helpful with the menu and even checked in after to make sure we loved what we ordered. Love the personal touch!

I love this place so much. The ingredients are super fresh and high quality, so it always tastes amazing. They serve large portions, too, and since it’s fresh the leftovers are fine the next day. Some people complain it is too expensive, but I think it’s a great value for what you get. Yes, you can get a cheaper meal elsewhere, but you get what you pay for. The salads at Mootz down the block are actually MORE expensive, and not as good or large. Everyone is so nice and sweet too, and I’ve never had a bad experience in over two years going here. Sometimes there’s a line at lunch but it moves quick, so don’t let that deter you. The Yoga Girl salad turned me on to tofu since it’s marinated so nice, and the Gyro bowl is good (sub greens for the grains to make it a salad!), the curried tuna is good. All of it is good! They always get the soups right too!

7greens is hands down the best salad bar Ive ever been to. They have every topping you can think of for salad & if you like tuna you have to try the curry 🍛 tuna

Owner: can be a bit crude when operating as a preparer, not good under pressure. Should realize your business is in Detroit; theres a variety of cultures that will patron you.

The best salad shop around. I tried one of the new items on the menu which was the Biggies Burrito. It was soooo good that I was ready to go back and get another one for later on. 7Greens you have my heart and my money lol.

They had just closed down but the employee opened the doors back up for me and was able to make me some food. She went above and beyond and it did not go unnoticed. I will be coming back again and again. Top notch operation, highly recommended.

Cool place with an excellent salad options! The price points are a little high, but my salad was delicious. I made my own. The next time Ill order one from the menu.

Good place to get a healthy meal in Detroit. Fast service and a good selection of bowls and salads. Many of the bowls come with a fried egg. The portion sizes are great. I took leftovers back to my hotel. I really enjoyed my salad from here, but it probably wont make it part of my regular lunch mix. Prices arent absurd compared to the rest of downtown. If you do go, I recommend the yoga girl with chicken.

Is this restaurant open or not? Every time I look them up and call during the Open hours nobody answers the phone. If youre closed due to Covid, I understand, just please put that somewhere so we know.

Most of my experience is ordering online or with door dash and it’s always a disaster. I really want it to work out because this is a great healthy lunch option in Detroit but every time I go the online route I’m waiting an hour or more for food to be ready. The food is amazing and delicious and their bowls are such an exciting twist on salad, but that doesn’t mean much if it arrives after my lunch break.

I was not aware that you could not place an order over the phone at certain times. But I was directed to order online instead. I tried several times to order online but the system did not work. I am not sure whether it was because I was trying to order on my phone. Once I arrived at the location, there was a line but moved relatively quick. They had multiple staff to assure there was efficiency in the way the order was taken and processed. Oh yes, I went during lunch time, and I got out pretty quick, impressive. I ordered the salad Maurice Who? for a colleague. He told me it was the best salad he has ever tasted. He told me he would have bought 2 orders if he knew it was going to be that good. He gave it high praise. The only reason I am rating it 4 star is due to the online order issue I ran into. Apart from that I will rate it a 5. Service was timely and food is apparently top notch.

Great customer service! One of the staff members was ready to end her shift when a line of customers came in, including myself. She stayed and assisted waiting on us until we were all served.And the other team members were just a courteous.

I love this place. The atmosphere just screams healthy. The staff is always so very nice. I love the vast variety toppings & salad dressings that they have to choose from. The owner even broaden my pallet with the unique salad dressings they have. She is SUPER nice by the way. The soups are great as well.

First time there and Val was helping me. She was amazing and helpful. She was patient with me because I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much for the wonderful customer service. Salad was good.

I love everything about 7 greens from working there to eating the fresh food! We have the best manager and owner. They love you and treat you like you’re family just like we treat our customers. I promise if you stop on in you won’t be disappointed. Trust me there’s no other place like 7 Greens in the city. You come here you get fresh food, homemade food, vegan and gluten free options. We have over 20 homemade sauces to compliment the salads. We also have soup, and super smoothies. And let me tell you about our sweet treats.... they are completely mouth watering made fresh everyday by our wonderful kitchen crew. This is my 2nd year here at 7 greens and I love it. Don’t be scared because of the parking downtown. We validate 2 hours in the z lot. Just let us know.

The website and the sign on the door said they were open til 7 and at 3:20 i went there and the door was locked and i follow them on insta and was so excited and thinking about the salad i was going to get for literally DAYS and i drove thirty minutes to this stupid place and ofc it was closed so i went and cried in my car so one star for this dumb salad place

Wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely awful experience. Had to go to the hospital because I ate here!!!! Worker put nuts in a smoothie which werent in the recipe. I had a severe allergic reaction and had to call an ambulance. I payed over $400 in medical bills and the owner wont do anything about it. Never go here!!!!! It is TERRIBLE!!!! I ALMOST DIED BECAUSE I ATE HERE AND THE OWNER DOESNT EVEN CARE ENOUGH TO PAY MY HOSPITAL BILLS!!!! ALSO it is extremely overpriced and the staff is not friendly.

I ate at this place in Birmingham for the very first time. The establishment was super clean and bright!! The ingredients were extremely fresh!! I had the salad of the month and every bite was amazingly tasteful!! The portion was generous. Oh by the way the Açaí bowel to die for as well!! A must go place!!!I want a 7Green in Tampa!!

(Vegan Review) UPDATE - have to update my review as I placed an order for pick up today and was very impressed with the customer service I received! They were out of the dressing I requested, so they gave me a call, apologized and recommended another vegan dressing they thought would go well with the salad I had built and it was amazing! It was some kind of lime jalapeno dressing. I enjoyed the best salad Ive had in a long time. Love this place and highly recommend itExcellent, high quality ingredients! Highly recommend the Woodward Cruise or the Wok it to me salad. Only 4 stars due to customer service, which I am sure they will continue to work on in order to thrive.

It was delicious and the staff was mostly friendly. There was a dark skinned girl with glasses and a tie dye shirt (maybe) she was very rude and non chalante while making my order. Everything was fresh though and the I gradient selection was amazing! Croutons were soft but I like bread sooo yea.

Really delicious salads with super fresh ingredients. The only reason they lose a star is the price. Its a nice treat to go here every once in a while but itll put a hole in your wallet to grab lunch here regularly.The Yoga Girl, Detroit Greek and Woodward Cruise are my favorites.The Birmingham location is great too and their menu has a bit more to offer in the form of Buddha bowls, zoodle bowls, etc.Dont let my comment about price deter you. Its worth checking out especially if you know before hand youre building a $15 salad.

I literally go here every day on my lunch break--and I work in a restaurant that offers free food. Their salads are amazing! Ive never enjoyed a salad more than the salads I get here every day. So many choices for fresh toppings. From hearts of palm to grilled peaches they will likely have it. Dressings are incredible too--and so many eclectic choices. I really love the beet greek and jalapeno dressing with a salad with fruit toppings is my personal favorite.

A fantastic location for amazing salads. Theyve got a large selection of offerings with only the freshest ingredients going in your salad. The atmosphere inside is very unique and urban feeling, in the summer they raise their glass door and allow for seating outside, its really cool.

Don’t come here past 4pm if you are in a rush. They cut their staff down to ONE (amazing) person... but she’s only one. I placed my online order 50 mins ago and am still waiting on my salad.

I have had THE WORST service here twice in one week.One day this week, a worker completely bypassed me in line for the white man behind me (I gave the benefit of the doubt afterwards. It could have been an honest mistake).Today, I go back and order their Reeses Cup smoothie around opening at 11am. I am sitting maybe 10 min waiting on this smoothie when a worker tells me (he had to go get peanut butter). They never offered my money back or apologized. Im like ok whatever, I want my smoothie. Anyway...I am waiting 15 more minutes and I go back up and see my smoothie waiting on the counter. I asked if that was mine, and the worker passes it to me nonchalantly as if I wasnt just waiting for 25 minutes and no one notified me that my smoothie was ready. When I get it, it so much runnier than usual. The last few times I have come here, I am consistently waiting longer than the white people I see coming in and out (including those who ordered smoothies)...and I am beginning to suspect lesser service based upon my race. And that is unfortunate because I really liked this place. I will not be going back and I will be sharing my service experience in multiple forums.

Horrible place. Staff is very rude and it is over priced. I came here at 4pm for a late lunch/early dinner and I got soup with my meal. I sat down to eat it and the soup was cold, I approached the associate and asked very nicely if she could just microwave my soup, which I honestly didn’t mind. She said they do not have a microwave and they have to remove the soup from the heat in the middle of the day because they cannot store it in the refrigerator at night until it has reached room temperature and that’s why the soup was cold. She had no method of re-heating the soup for me and did not offer to reimburse me for my $6 soup. Why wouldn’t she just say they were out of soup instead of serving cold soup? Anyways, won’t be back.

I stopped in and tried the curry tuna salad & wow the salad was awesome,also the wait staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing kinda didnt like was the music was a little to loud,but that wont stop me from going back.

This place has great salads, although the customer service at this location is pretty bad (have also been to the Birmingham location). On multiple occasions, they have closed an hour earlier than the hours stated and never have a good excuse for doing so. Bad business practices.

Decent salad choices and definitely filling. A little pricey, but not too bad for downtown Detroit food.

The staff was moving way too fast. I told them I was allergic to nuts and I found a piece of a nut in my salad. Thankfully I didnt eat much before I saw it and immediately stopped eating. The staff on the phone seemed apologetic but I dont think fully grasped the severity of having a nut allergy and finding a nut in your salad. Advised that if you have a food allergy do not eat here.

I would give 7 Greens a 5 star rating based on my past experiences. Today I walked 15 minutes to eat there after a long day of conferences that didnt serve anything vegan. The restaurant was closed for a private event and there was no attempt made to inform of the temporary closure on the web site: thus the 4-star rating. Not a huge deal but it was definitely annoying.

Its one of the few quick and healthy options in downtown Detroit. I like being able to customize my own salad in less than five minutes.

7 Greens continues to be my favorite salad spot. Honestly probably some of the best salads. And dont even get me started on those butterons.
