I went to All About Technology after a online company called NORTON ULTIMATE took my laptop from working to an expensive paper weight. They told me my hard drive crashed and I would have to put a new hard drive in it. And they would have nothing more to do with me.I took my computer to All About Technology on Michigan Ave., Detroit, MI; and they repaired it without having to put a new hard drive in. Had a custom build I could not get to power on for more than 15 seconds. Took it to All About Tech based on the fact that they had great reviews online and they were local. Within 48 hours I was told I had bent a couple CPU pins when I placed it onto the motherboard. I ended up paying a pretty fair price and getting back a working computer. If I have other computer issues, i will be back

The price has been right each time (because Willie sells new laptops AND top-notch models slightly used by corporations). In addition, I know that I can run to All About Technology for any question or tech problem that comes up---and get excellent, knowledgable service.I just did that, in fact: my HP EliteBook suddenly went completely dead on me and would not respond at all. I used All About Technology on several occasions to repair my apple computer.My apple computer had water damage throughout from a water spill in my brief case. I was told by Apple it had extensive water damage and was not repairable and that all my files and information was lost. I sent my computer from Atlanta to Detroit based on a friends referral and testimony. And after several days of diagnostic work they repaired my computer and all my information was restored. I had my computer back in my possession within a week time. It was worth the shipment and expense as my files was priceless. I recommend this company regardless of what the issue is and where you live. They are my official IT repair company.LOVE them, they saved my LIFE!!

Mr. Willie Brake was not only about Technology but he was all about business too. I have a Apple Computer that I was having slow speed and poor performance problems with. I had contacted Apple by phone several times and wentbinto the Apple Store as well over a month period but to no avail. Mr. Brake got my problems assessed, got the computers operating system upgraded, changed my hard drive and got the computer up to speed, everything was resolved in a matter of days instead of the week Apple told me. He went the extra mile for much less than the cost that Apple had quoted me. I would recommend him for any computer concerns that you may have. I was referred to him because he helped a close friend of mine with his computer problem as well. He is knowledgeable, timely, helpful and had the parts I needed at the better price.

Willie came out to my house and worked on my computer that was having issues. He diagnosed the issue, and when he discovered what was causing the problem, he installed an antivirus program and I havent had any issues since. He was courteous and kind, and his prices were reasonable. I will be using this company from now on.

They are not diligent with getting back to you with repairs.. A friend of mine brought in a laptop that needed a new battery so he thought. They told him they would order the battery and call him back in a week. They did not call him when the product was in and he had to call them after sometime beyond the weeks passing. When he FINALLY got a hold of them they told him that he had a fried motherboard on a year old laptop. I am a computer science major so this sounds slightly odd given the fact that they insisted on him purchasing a new laptop with more enthusiasm than assisting him with finding the actual problem and letting him know their findings. My friend is a producer, so everyday without his equipment is a day lost. Not happy to hear this.

If I could of gave it zero stars I would have, Spent over a 1,000 dollars and one of the laptops I bought as a Christmas gift was damaged, I should of been smarter and checked it out better before I left with it. I dont appreciate the owner trying to lie and pin the blame on me he never showed us the laptop turned on said everything was perfect, just tried to hurry and sell us garbage so he could hurry and run off to get food that he wanted so bad. I noticed the damage soon as I turned it on, took me 2 weeks just to get in touch with someone. Kepted getting the run around, left several messages. Very unprofessional, rude, should learn how to do buisness and if you sell garbage you should atleast fix it and not try to scam them out of more money. I will never shop here or recommend this place ever again. Looking for electronics you can find these items cheaper on a swap site, save your money and time.I find it funny that you can reply back to a bad review within hours, but you cant get back to a customer for weeks. I dont know what kind of buisness or who is working and answering the phones but its very unprofessional. You sit there and say one thing and do another, write all you want to make yourself look good. Ive already repeated myself a million times to you so Im not sure why your asking the same questions? So Ill tell you again, Like I said I bought the lap top as a gift, never used the lap top had it stored away for Christmas, I called you the day after once my son opened his gift and realized something was wrong with it.
