Thats my store and they keep getting better.

This is my go to supermarket. Meat is always fresh and good customer service.

No problem no complaints other than Bananas are not at good quality and always too ripe the next day I purchase them every few days.

I love this store except the prices go up through the roof. If there ever was a Whole Paycheck this would be the place!On the other side if theres that little thing or knick knack or tool that you need this would be a great place to pick it up

They arrived not very clean. We saw them today cutting to fruit next to the bathroom in the back and flies were EVERY where. Do not buy that fruit that they sell in the containers. Please, for your health sake. Trust me.

Went there with a friend to get some food for tacos the store is very clean and plus I found alternative baking company cookies there for $1 cheaper than suggested retail price. The cashiers are always friendly, the store is well lit.

They need to lower they prices and have real n more fresh meat

Local neighborhood market that has been there for years. They have all types of meat including a nice variety of steaks, lamb chops and shanks, pork chops, roasts; also ox tails but they are kind of pricey. They sell beer& wine and liquor. They also cash checks and sell money orders. They accept cash, checks, debit and credit cards, wic and ebt. Worth taking a look.

The store has great potential but the owners dont care and sometimes he treats the employees horrible. The is overcrowded as soon as you walk into store the checkout lanes are right there. You have to walk sideways to get to the grocery isle. Lately, there has been a smell in the store and I dont understand how people continue to buy meat out of there. The only thing I buy is chips and I havent did that in a while. The price are ridiculous for the area, the area income changed years ago. The owners owned E & L Market, Boost mobile and plenty of other businesses in community and very seldom do they give back. Our leaders and community groups need to do better by letting these business get away with horrible service. Metro Food Store was the same way, it took years but Jim the owner loss that gem. I hope that doesnt happen the neighborhood deserves better.

It wasnt that bad, there were boxes in just about ever aisle, so I couldnt get to those aisle because of my bad legs.

On March 4, 2020, I took my brother there to buy him grocery. Cart half full of groceries, I told him to go get him 2- 2 liter pops when I walk off to get him a load of bread. Next thing I know, he comes back and says put all that (Sh - -) back. Next thing I know 4 men and the owner comes up to him and say he put a pack of cheese in his pocket. They are arguing back and forth. I tell them why would he need to steal cheese when hes here shopping, with $110 worth of groceries in the buggy. My brother then told them you are racially profiling me. Run your camera back and call the police. But they would they just asked us to leave the store. O did I mention, we already had a pack of Kraft cheese in the cart . I will NEVER. .. SHOP THERE AGAIN.0- 0- rating thumbs down

Decent store with some fair pricing on food that isnt processed meat lol. $11 for a small bag of Banquet chicken no thank you.

Well its a great market and the cashiers are very friendly plus you can play the lottery there and its a pharmacy in there as well. Great for shopping for groceries.

Best Hood store around. Has a Pharmacy, fresh produce, meat, frozen section, and they even sell kombucha! Could be a bit cleaner and could use a couple more cashiers but they do serve the community well. Wouldn’t know what I would do without this market because I would have to drive all the way to Dearborn otherwise. Conveniently located and always busy!

First time Visiting this Store, definitely going ba ak.

One of the few Great and Wonderful Neighborhood Grocery stores...very loyal to the neighborhood. They are open late(weekdays until 9:PM) as you get home from the office and need a few items. Other stores have come and gone or have limited hours not fully accommodating a neighborhood with folks working diverse shifts. Hometown has been at this location faithfully serving its residents for decades!

Pretty good deals, no complaints

It seemed like a nice market. The cashiers were pleasant. The store had really great sales. I had not been in that area for quite some time and it was nice to know that somebody put money into making it really nice.

Staff is respectable. However check your dates on food. used by date food should not be sold. And I have seen it on things like that on many occasions. As a retail worker and consumer. we should not be sold out of dated food items, And washing out their mop sometimes so the store does not smell like spoiled meat wouldnt be a bad idea.

Meat was beautiful, prices were great! I had to commute there from between Southfield and Evergreen. I wish they mailed sales papers in my area (48228-- hint hint). Great shopping!

I give it 3 Stars because the security guard was a complete azzhole. His arrogance and ignorance in addressing me in regards to me bringing my own shopping bags totally took away from my enjoyment of shopping there for the first time! The cashier was sweet and told me to ignore him but his attitude was horrendous. Bad staff will always ruin a good establishment!I did enjoy their selection of fresh fruits and veggies, the meat didnt look bad either. I will mos def be returning, With my OWN SHOPPING BAGS TOO!

Horrible! Sad thing is if you shop in a grocery store in Detroit, just know that the prices are ALWAYS going to to be super high. Its very sad that the other race that owns a majority of the stores in the Detroit Neighborhoods always jack the prices up and the patrons that frequent these stores are sometimes lower income people. It seems that the store owners think that everyone that shops in their stores are using bridge cards and because of this they think that they are justified in the price spikes.So this store needs to understand that every black person that comes into their store is not a bridge card carrier and they also should not practice in the practice of price gouging just because they feel like it.

They do a real good job in getting more varieties of food that we will find at Whole Foods from time to time. Food is fresh and if you need something that they dont have they will get and call you. LOVE IT.
