It makes me truly wonder if those good reviews are fake..four days ago we bought pork ribs from here and had to take them back because they were spoiled..then today I tried cooking the whole chicken I bought there and it is spoil..never again as high as their prices are they have a lot of nerves to keep selling spoil meat

Wow, I went to 5 stores just for 1 can of Blackeye Peas. Decided to stop here and I found them,on sale 2/$3.00. So I got the last 2 cans.

Mazen has been serving the eastside community for many years. However they need there employees trained on customer service.

The pomegranate seeds were spoiled and the grapefruit didnt taste right either I am disgusted because it makes me wonder if guidelines are being followed and its a traditional practice of first in first out maybe they need to check the temperature I wonder how many ppl have gotten sick from this everyone deserves fresh clean food and its sad for the ppl who cannot make it to a better store. The customer was proficient though.

They wouldnt let me in with my walker because I had my laundry bags piled in it. I must have looked like a homeless bag lady. I had come from the laundromat to shop and couldnt leave my walker behind, since I need it to walk.

I love Mazens!! Great neighborhood grocery store with fresh produce and a great meat department. Their bakery/cakes are also amazing and the staff is always super helpful!

I shop here often due to how close it is to my home. However, I really wish whoever their health inspector is would force them to really get the store together. It has lots of potential as a neighborhood grocery store but they sell food that has gone bad way past the sell by date. I think they might actually be changing the date on some foods. I just got home with a bag of bagels I bought, they said they were good based on the use by date. I opened them up and all of them had a thick layer of green mold on the bottom. Earlier this year in October I bought a pack of cheese that had a use by date of August 13. The produce section has lots of rotten food in it and it’s really hard to find any fresh vegetables. I have even once seen a can of canned meat that said it expired in the 80’s and that’s not an exaggeration. I wish I took a picture of it. Anyway, I think the store has a lot of good things, good prices, but they need a health inspector to force them to get throw out rotten food, get fresh food, and clean thoroughly.

Never a bad experience at Mazen Foods. The cashiers are always friendly. Get me together for dinner and a movie every time. Lets not forget they have a nice selection of cold mommy 🍾 juices😁

Service was fine at the register. Found what i was looking for. The deli was unattended when i came in. I waited a few minutes walked away and came back. Still no one up front. I waved at the lady in the back. She didrespond and was very friendly and courteous

Its a Grocery store. Variety of Produce and meats and Dairy products. Customer made Birthday and Anniversary Cakes and Cupcakes, Balloon to the etc.... Large parking lots also Beer,Wine and MI lottery open 7 days a week. Great Deil, Good Customer service

Love the deli staff! Cashiers up front are rude and gossipy. Early morning is the best time to get in and get out fast. Lousy produce and they still try to over price it.

They have expired yogurt every time Ive tried to buy some so always check the date. Ive recently bought molded pita bread. I was a 20yr customer until I witnessed the gossipy newer cashier talk about a women who had an issue in her foreign tongue she was very rude a by her facial expression I wont patronize anymore

Great selection of food and excellent cakes. Hate the parking lot though. Cant take buggies to your car which makes it hard to get out the door with a load of groceries.

Ok where should I start. Mazen is in the ghetto, but they have Somerset Mall prices. Why are your prices so high in a low-income area? A persons food stamps will be used up instantly buying the necessary needs. Yall need to quit! If I have to buy meat I will get it way pass 8 mile. Nothing is guaranteed but I shop where the majority of white folks shop. They are usually given fresh products and prices are cheaper. The meat for instance, if you go to Mazen, people dont know if off-brown meat is actually suppose to be pink. Im a good consumer, I know how things suppose to smell and look. Stores are closing because of out-dated products. Heads up! The staff, well they match the neighborhood. If you can go pass 8 mile, then go to Wal-Mart or Save-a-Lot. PS. The Save-a-Lot and Aldis in Mt.Clemens, are on point.

Mazons is a great store One Stop Shop ran in and bought a new Cricket phone and only took him 10 minutes and he had me up and running thank you mr. M a z e n

Its in a convenient location for a good amount of people. They carry the normal stuff, and even some pretty interesting canned goods like Escargots and some decent Sardines. If I occasionally need something like hotdog buns, or something canned/jarred in an emergency this is the only place in the vicinity.Their meat, I just dont trust it. I have gotten ground beef that after I brought it home smelled sour. Pork chops look gray. The produce is fair, but the prices are not. I mean seriously, $5 for Mayonnaise? They are robbing from the people who cant travel elsewhere. Its sad. Also, it is common to see things with either multiple different price tags, no price or even a different price from the flyer, so buyer beware. They could also do better by pulling in at least ONE type of Dry Red and Dry White wine. It doesnt have to be anything great but it would make it easier to grab a wine that isnt saturated with sugar.They could really step up their game and draw in more people, but I get the impression that its just going to stay that way because there isnt much of another option. I had high hopes that the prior Rite Aid would have been turned into a decent grocer but sadly it became another Family Dollar. Yeah because the Dollar Tree just across Conner doesnt carry all that stuff, amirite?Meijer is about 10 minutes on Schoenherr Rd and Randazzos is as well (up on Conner) from this store so do yourself (your wallet and your health) a favor and go out of your way, its worth it.

Quite sad to see you price gouging, especially in these troubling times. Shameful, who is really going to pay 6.99 for 18 eggs?? Or 4.99 for 12?? When any other store anywhere in the USA sells them for.88 cents for 18 count and .60 cents for 12 count.

I love each and everyone of the staff. I grew up as a child going to this wonderful detroit eastside market. Now as an adult, im respected as a friend and customer. Wonderful prices, chances to win a brand new 40in flat screen tv with 2500 pts of shopping. I have won and love my tv. If I ask for something I dont see. Frank Marhar or Steve or Joe will get to the store. The butcher is awesome, hot food awesome, pharmacy awesome. As you can see I love this Market and they know and love the customers. Bring mom say hi to frank. I bet mom is given a bunch of flowers. Awesome.
