I am very disappointed in the customer service I just received from this place. I went to the store to get some cakes for a repast, I found the ones I wanted out of the small selection they have. When I get to the register, I tell the lady at the counter that I had 3 cakes, thinking she had a scammer and could just scan them, but she snapped at me with a frown on her face, then said “I don’t care, I need them up here! So I say ok, I thought you could scan them. I put them on the belt and I notice I was overcharged. I said something about and she says “well that’s what they’re ringing up. I said but that’s not what the sign say. She say “go get the sign”! So I said, I’ll do one better and take a pic. When I come back and show her, she takes my phone to another cashier and tells her to call some guy. The guy comes with the stickers that was aligned with the cakes and said, these cakes are $16.99 but we’re sold out, the ones you have are $18.99. I said so why are the prices under all of these cakes?! There wasn’t even a sign that said $18.99 anywhere. This man was so nasty with me, never introduced himself, and walked away after telling the cashier THEY’RE $18.99. I said I’m reporting this business. He said I don’t care! I mean, this was their mistake not mine. When I said it was false advertisement, he said “not really”. Wow!

Ive come to like this store again!🤩🤗☺The previous owners.😖😠. Better choices meat a lot better. Produce could be a whole lot better. But, Im patient. I love most of the Management. Customer Service could be Amazing. But, some cashiers.........Overall, Great neighborhood store.Ill be back.

On April 6th 2021 I was trying to use the kiosk while shopping I dont no the young ladies name but she was at register 2 after completing my purchases I asked her if someone at the store could help me with the kiosk she did not hesitate no one was in line behind me. She went to the kiosk literally placed my info into the kiosk paid my bill for me and thanked me! Wow and every time I go to this Store EVERYONE IS ON POINT. THANK YOU!

I like that its always parking spots, the store is clean, and fruit is fresh. I shop here very often. I never feel crowded like I do when I shop at Greenfield market. Rarely you will catch good bacon on sale here. I tried the fried chicken in the deli area the chicken taste burnt I think it was the grease it was fried in. The rotisserie chicken is great though! I still call this store banner although its the former name 🤗

Everything was okay, but the red-haired female at the lottery section was really rude and had a nasty attitude, she even had an attitude and shouted at an associate today at around 12 or 1

I had the rudest checkout by Rita I laid the money down to close my change purse she was talking to bagger she then says YOU GOTTA PUT IT IN MY hand I fo then she says I am in polite. I said I wasn’t. Because I was not turned towards to talk to some that s there all day I don’t think seniors I said nothing to her first but did reply it’s a shame guard blocked internee no mask chairs were not working just to be charged 9.96 a pound got burger that impolite and greed for a neighborhood store

Nice, handy and curtious staff. Big beautiful store. The deli is wonderful. Try the crab salad. Majority of items are easy to find. I agree that the meat prices are great too. I love the varieties available to purchase. Check out is pretty fast, watch out for the busy times if your trying to run in and run out. Glad to feel safe with the security guards patrolling.

My 15 yrs old granddaughter was accused of stealing in the check out line because her groceries was in a reusable grocery bag. They took the bags, threw her phone and wallet to her(which were in the bag) and asked her to leave. Security guard called her a thief. We been in this neighborhood since the late 60s. This is unacceptable and maybe they should apologize because you never know what could happen.

Imperial Fresh is family owned and has been in the neighborhood every since Farmer Jack closed their doors. The owners, cashiers and security are always polite and courteous. I love the low and fair pricing and fresh meat, vegetables and fruit. It is truly a one stop shop for check cashing, money orders, payment center and Western Union. They are always looking for ways to better assist its customers. They recently added a Deli with good hot food and a Pharmacy to make it even more convenient. They have been in the same location from the beginning and I dont need to go grocery shopping any where else, I find everything I need right there. It has been newly renovated and ready to meet the challenges of the next millennium.

Ive been going here for years, this place is way better than any of the grocery stores in the area. There prices are a little more than the competing grocery stores but the meat is fresher than any other that Ive visited in the area. The employees are nice, no bad attitudes thus far..i just enjoy my experiences here. Thier parking lot could be a little better but the grocery shopping is easier because its not overcrowded with people trying to sell you things other than groceries..or customers. I just wish they would compete more with greenfield markets prices and this grocery store would be the best in the area.

Having never trusted most of the food markets in DETROIT, until a friend introduced me to IMPERIAL FRESH MARKET, I would not buy any meats or vegetables from neighborhood grocers. They have not only impressed me with the fresh meats, produce and full range deli, the owners, managers and employees treat one another and their customers respectfully, courteously, professionally. IMPERIAL FRESH MARKET has also hired from the community a total plus I M O.

Friendly helpful staff, will stop whatever their doing to see to your needs. I have been going there for years, my favorite market.

Prices are a little high but the selection is great and the produce is fresh. The staff and cashiers are very friendly and always willing to help. If you are looking for something that they dont carry in the store the manager will order it for you

Like the store - every time I visit its clean & well stocked & I love how the store is large, spacious & airy. Will continue to be my go to store in between my monthly major shopping. Oh, one complaint - sometimes thier ground beef is questionable, looks good on the surface untill I get it home & use it.

I love this store!! The owner, his cashiers; Nikki, Monica, Michelle, and the guy who runs the customers service desk, Amir, all wonderful people! The staff who work in grocery and dairy are always helpful, and nice!Walie the pharmacist is so kind. The food in the deli is delicious!

The expanded store is beautiful with clean restrooms, but it seems like the prices have increased to pay for it! Not nice when a local grocer takes advantage of the low income residents who most likely are on public assistance.

I love imperial market ( formly Banner Supermarket ). Some of the employees that my family and I been knowing for many years. We made shopping there since 1992 and still shopping there today. Nice people {employees} always greet you, excellent customer service. Venise & Gwen Ledford and family.
