This is my 4th visit to D M African Market I really enjoy coming to this market they have a great variety of products for you to try if you dont know what some things is just ask they will be more than happy to assist you.

Owners are very helpful and enthusiastic young African couple. They always help me bring and load my purchases into my car. They have reasonable and competitive prices.

Lady was not knowledgeable of items she sold in her store. I went to buy palm oil for someone I asked her did bottle have seal on it she didnt know Im thinking how are you selling things and dont know wether it has a seal for freshness and sanitation purposes

This place is a gem. Although it seems that many dont know of its existence, I always can find some of the best fabrics, or meats. Love this place.

I prefer other African markets it could be a lot better here the stuff sits here for a long time before it moves I like stores they have heavy turnovers so that I know that Im getting fresh products and produce

The store is no longer there. The phone dont work and there is no market at the site. I just got back from the place. I am 3 wks in Michigan and I was looking for African store. Checked Google and couple of stores were listed on McNichols st but none exist as of today. Just call the phone before you head to any of the store. I am still searching for an African store as I do not know anyone in Michigan but rely on Google to find places.

Bad Customer Service, Rude,Stinks, Smells like a Zoo,Never knew the store was there, just moved to the area decided to see what they have (browsing) the area when the store owner and his family turned off the store lights and forced me and my friend out and called the Detroit cops had us followed home by them never going back.
