They sell Old expired food. This should have been thrown out. Please be careful.

I would give 0 stars this place is disgusting needs to be shut down or under new management. Out dated baby food, one looked like it had been cut maybe from cutting open boxes. Pack of ribs with the plastic ripped open. Mold on the cookies marked down for a dollar. Its a shame because this is the closest grocery store to my apartment. Thoroughly disappointed and disgusted!!!!!

The true definition of a food dessert. You can go there and find a processed or boxed food reasonably inexpensive although I would check the expiration date first. I gave this store one star because the fresh foods are horrible, particularly the produce. The quality of the fresh food here is unacceptable. I make the choice to drive elsewhere because the community deserves better from their local grocer.

Outdated food becaful what u buy

I wasnt at this store. There is a truck that parks in their lot called SNOWBIZ. It wouldnt change the heading, but...They sell snowcones that are to DIE for!

Worst grocery store out there. Expired, spoiled food with nasty attitude owners. Stay away from this place for your own risk.

I had shopped here before and was somewhat pleased but today (7/16/2018) I went in with a male friend of mine and we got a couple of good sweet watermelons and a few other things but what I dislike is the fact that they dont offer any organic groceries/items in this grocery market. I really wish that they would consider carrying organic groceries and maybe they could start off with a small selection first. This location is really convenient (right down the road from my apartment) but I patronize and shop elsewhere because the other grocery market location thats also nearby carries a nice selection of organic groceries.

Prices not bad meats always good n fresh.

Theyre clean and always stocked. Theyre also quick and keep good hours. Go here for bargains. Even if you have dietary restriction, the other products on offer will surely delight. They beat Amazon and CVS on pricing for something and have a full array of household items. Its surprising what you can find here. Its like a home makers bazaar.

Cashiers not friendly at all. Store is always clean. Need to train cashiers on customer service. My granddaughter wont even go to that store because of cashiers attitude.

Owners, & employee maintain 1st. rate isles, stock, & the produce Dept. deserve note. Meats rotated daily, floors, spotless. Very hard work to give community nice experience. Fine effort by all, it shows.

Over pricing, meats that are butchered on site are old and I will say appears to be painted! Owner personnel are cruel to community people. Making threats which can be their own detriment! Crazy!

This is one of those mythical Detroit supermarkets that supposedly dont exist. It really isnt bad at all for a smallish market tucked right into midtown. As a downtown resident, I use the place when I dont feel like driving Downriver or hitting the northern suburbs. Selections might be somewhat more limited than in a big suburban grocery store but prices are reasonable and Ive never noticed any particular problems with quality.

This store is to high in prices to be an Spartan store, especially during the holiday. Take a closer look at their veg are they fresh? is their meat fresh? have you heard some comment cashiers say about customers and the neighborhood they live in Martin Luther Kings Home?. Just gossip all you here is gossip, almost like you are not welcome.

This is my least favorite grocery store on this side of the city. The selection is limited, the prices arent great and the cashiers are grumpy. The women that work at the hot food counter inside the front doors are nice though.

Everyone who says the staff is friendly, must be relatives/friends. They are NEVER friendly and the cashiers gossip in front of customers. Trust me, I have been many times over the years. Only as a last resort because its close to me. I purchased reduced chicken today that smelled like death when I got it home. Learned my lesson on buying meat from here. And the store smells bad by the meat department....... the people at the hot food area are nice though.

Didnt go into the market but the parking spaces are not visible for you to park properly and when its really crowded up Im sure that it is totally confusing there.

Better prices than other grocery stores! But produce lacks in variety and in quality(either too unripe or too old). But this place is not the only one, theres many more in Detroit! Aparently Michigan isnt the place to live if you want the freshest fruits and vegetables year around. Florida here I come! But those damn George Zimmermans though!

The rudest people working or owning this store. My husband and I got help from one person working in meats who provided us with information on their ribs. They have a worker who was bringing in water on a dolly who was intent on running anyone down. No excuse me please, no coming through. Nothing. Id always wondered why I would see people who lived near this store(across the street, next door) going to the store on Orleans, now Ive gotten the answer. RUDENESS, ARROGANCE. Cashiers total rudeness, just because you say thank you,in that nice/nasty way doesnt equal politeness.

Store is located in walking distance and the cashiers are very pleasant but they carry a lot of expired products so you have to check the dates on everything and I do mean everything! Quite expensive for foods that are getting ready to expire or have expired😡😡 So I only come to this store for nick nats...never and I mean never have I or will I ever do any real grocery shopping at this store!!!!!!!!!
