Great selection, but the store is so small. None of the employees wear a mask either. Store needs an update.

I live a block away and thought this place would be a nice grocery store, but their prices are quite high.Today, I just needed a few carrots and apples to feed the horses. And of course I ended up with a small bag of apples, 6 bananas, 2pears, 2 bags of carrots, and 6 peaches with dish soap.It wasnt very crowded, the cashiers are fast and bag your items. The store is very well stocked and clean.Ill go here for something I forgot to get, or for few items.

This is a decent supermarket. I gave it an average rating simply because theres nothing that stands out. An updated remodel would render a much higher score.

Super duper. Got everything they ate stacked . Loved their pharmacy, And stay open at a great time. Ill always go there to shop. And especially nice.

Nice place to shop love the fact when you walk in they have sanitized wipes to use to wipe the buggy off but definitely will be back love their meat selection.

I pay my DTE and water bill here, and pick up a steak or a pork chop that are pretty good. Dont do much else here.

Nice community market thats been here for decades. Only issue is the freshness of their meat. If I ate meat I wouldnt purchase from here.

Its local small little run too for a couple things. I mean for small family shopping hey. Some of their prices on essential produce like eggs, milk cheese is over priced but they will make up for ot in other things like toilet paper they always have, bleach, etc.

The young man waiting on me at the register was very nice you waited as I ran back to go and get some chocolate milk after he run my food up and the lady behind me she was nice as well I had a very pleasant experience

One of the few Detroit neighborhood grocery stores. They get in great deals on foods..like 10 pounds of bananas for $1(yes they are very ripe...great) for freezing.They sell unique items like Chicken Crack spices. No need to go to Popeyes for fried chicken.No deli but deli type foods.When parking...be very cautious of the many seniors who shop there.

It was clean and they had good low price on some items. And at the end of my shopping they gave me a free case of water.. I was like wow 😮 LoL 😁.. and I did get everything thing I needed. And that was today when I went to shop at savon foods super market and it was my first time.

Not too bad for a hood store. Mikes might have a better value on meats and fresher produce but Savon has great sales, Personable staff, and is quicker.

The prices were too high and the packs of hamburger were just portioned for one person. Narrow aisles and overcrowded. We left in a few minutes.That was all I needed to know how the rest of the store wouldve been

I liked the many selection of foods in the store. One problem I had was with a cashier. I guess she had just got to work and came with an attitude. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The aisles are a bit tight for someone in a power wheelchair going in the opposite direction of someone with a grocery cart, but this store seems to have everything I need at the moment, and they have good sale priced items. The cashiers all appear very kind and helpful. I appreciate the kindness and help I receive from the woman who stocks the shelves during business hours.

Supermarket was clean well-stocked prices display fairly well although a few items prices what hard to find. Stocking items its done all day that tends to make traveling for car difficult. But that is very rare and really not much of an inconvenience. Cashiers are well mannered and dont mind my jovial platitudes from time to time. I shop there for convenience of travel but wouldnt mind going out my way if needed.

My neighborhood supermarket. Community oriented. Deli closed now. Good deals every week. Bread seems second hand from suburbs. ( Never very fresh) decent meat but still meat designated for black neighborhoods. Savon hires people in my community.

Great prices and choices

This is my favorite market to go to... I dont like shopping anywhere else honestly. You get what you pay for and the customer service is wonderful.

Their store is very decent and welcoming, they have little figurines and designs above the shopping aisles, which I think is very pleasant. Its a little cold in there, but its fine overall. Their meat isnt bad and the fruit is fresh.

Always have what you need

A lot of the friuts and vegetables are old. The sweet potatoes were covered with furry Moss that I thought it was a dead mouse I touched. One of the Arabic cashiers went and looked and told me, Someone will buy them if they want sweet potatoes! I left the store never to return.

Staff are friendly and store seems to be clean. Every time I go I have to check for expiration dates to ensure its not expired. Many times I report to cashiers that different foods are expired. This is an inconvenience that I often have to shop at Meijer when this store is much closer and smaller to ensure the food is not expired.

They have your everyday needs at affordable prices. The beer selection is great however the wine selection is lacking. There is no fresh meat counter but they have a deli area with hit foods. Feels unorganized in here when you walk in just random racks all over with baked goods well processed package baked goods. They need a good bakery.

I have been shopping at this store every since I was a little girl. This supermarket is convenient for a quick trip. The prices are outrageously and ridiculously high. For example a family size box of Cheerios can cost you almost $7.

My daughter bought some food from here! Its a good place to go in a pinch!
