The guys here are friendly and fast. I have been going there since 1969, it was Chippewa Party Store back then. 10 cents got you a candy bar back then!

I have a love/hate relationship with this store. I only go there when Tim and Nate are working. They’re the nicest and most welcoming. The older guys Tom and Billy and the young one with the slicked back hair purposely overcharge and change prices when ringing you up as if you won’t notice; and then get an attitude when you confront and correct them about it, Tom especially. He is the absolute worst to deal with because that’s literally what he’s known for doing. I’ve had to check him several times about it. Check the prices and dates on everything because they keep a lot of old stuff on the shelves too, a lot of it you can tell by the dust on the packaging. Their selection isn’t all that for the prices they have, most of the food is higher than it is at a grocery store, which is ridiculous. I wouldn’t go here for anything other than snacks and liquor, they’re way overpriced.

Do not go to this store! The guy will short change you the change that is due to the customer. Just because this business is in an area that is primary Blacks, does not means this business should not give the customer ALL the money due back. The guy short changed my daughter on a money order that was brought on 11/21/2017, He only gave her back $11.00 and should have giving her $21.00, he knows how much he took for himself,and he should be ashamed of himself. My daughter has a Brain Condition and he took advantage of that. I am an amputee (both legs are missing), I was not able to go. Ive brought money orders before with no problems, I guess there a DIRTY EMPLOYEE at this crooked store.
