I love purchasing plants in the spring here and enjoy peeking in on the live chicks when they have them.They also sell local honey at the counter. BUY. THAT. STUFF!! I purchase the giant 4lb jar and it’s liquid goodness makes everyone happy at home. From my morning coffee to homemade gummies for the kids, this honey is tasty and also brings you all the local allergy benefits that store bought won’t since it’s collected just up the street from us.Stop by here next time you need something before you run to the giant hardware stores. Bet you’ll find friendlier and more readily available folks to assist you here any day!

When to Sutherland #3106 to get some hand rails for a freind and JT was at the register. Showed him the condition of rails. They had been sitting in the weather and had corrosion on them, since they were not in like new condition I asked for discount he said that would not happen, so I asked if he can wash them off so we could see the condition of them. He said no, take them as they are that’s the way they sell them. Had to get the hand rails freind needed them. JD should not be work where customers can interact with him. The Hand rails are $180 each bough, two of them.

Absolutely My Go To Store! The Staff are helpful and can get You everything You need. I recommend this store to Anyone! They will get You everything from the House, Barn, Garden, Pet/Animal/Livestock, and even Garage/Motorpart needs. If they dont have it stock, they will gladly order it for You. 5 Solid Stars.

Its a quick place to pick up hardware without having to deal with the big box stores and the people who go with it, but you are going to pay a bit more and their selection is not as good.

These guys complete refusal to update with the times is maddening. Couple that with their hurry up and get out attitude and terrible quality and odd sized prowood brand, youre better off anywhere else.

Never have what you need. Would be nice if they had more common, newer items. Hard to get good help the times I have been in there. If you need a few sticks of lumber I’d say you are ok to come here. Anything else drive a few miles down the road.

Sutherlands is an interesting place in todays world. It feels like a small old school hardware store. There is something nice about going here instead of home depot. The people arent always the best, but they are more likely to know whats going on. I was also able to get things here I couldnt get in home depot without ordering online, which was nice.

Strange mix of stuff, somethings you expect and some you dont, but hit and miss on what you need, and a bit higher on price.

Frustrating experience trying to get info on a home package. Wont release materials included unless you go to the store, which happens to be an hour and a half away through Houston.After talking to the store twice, called corporate, thinking store was mistaken. Corporate said people would be fired if they did release it. Another corporate rep said Id need to buy the blueprint first. Unbelievable. Its a thousand-square-foot cabin; not the Taj Majal. Youre either competitive or youre not. You either place customer service as a priority or you dont. Simply wanted to know what Im getting for my money, what the package includes without having to make a three-hour trip.Called 84 Lumber, Menards comparing home packages they offer, no problem. Emailed detailed info immediately so we could make an informed decision and then followed up to ask if we had questions.This was the first of five were building as rentals on our property. Tried to do business, but they werent interested. Need to rethink your sales strategies/policies, Sutherlands. Your competitors left you in the dust on this one.

Rushed to get there on a very cold night to see if they had what we needed to heat our FEMA RV. Glad that they would be open until 7. Arrived at 6:40 to a closed business. Not reliable info.
