The staff was friendly, but I hated the way the cashier just tossed my groceries into the cart. She had a crazy line of customers, so she tossed everything wildly into the cart. They have a good selection of food at a great price and most of it was fresh.

Aldis is pretty much the same at every store. This was a new one for me and much the same as others. I didnt give a 5 star rating as there were only carts on one side of the doors. And there werent many left so had to walk farther than I liked just to get a cart. Otherwise... another great Aldi store!

Unique selection of items that you dont find anywhere else. Hard to believe how much variety of food they pack in this store. Been a few times but still trying to get used to the whole shopping cart and shopping bag setup they have... So you pay to rent a cart and you get a refund when you return it. Just remember to bring your own shopping bags.

Reliable selection. Items continue to be in stock throughout the pandemic. Quick check out. And this Aldi always has clear aisles 3good traffic flow.

What a miserable experience. There were five people in the store not wearing masks when our state is under a mandate to do so. I purchased a bouquet of “fresh” flowers only to find all the flowers in the center were crushed, rotten and slimy. The store was crowded and people were not socially distanced. The staff appeared apathetic. Really miserable. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I’ll continue my shopping elsewhere.

I love the Aldi products and have encouraged family and friends to shop there! I think most of the employees in Dixon, IL, are friendly and professional.Unfortunately, the current manager is anything but friendly! I have worked in retail 40 years and know how important that can be.

Love all the selections of fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery items and the non food selection has improved.Friendly and helpful staff.The only thing that I do not like is the dairy coolers always smell bad.

This is a nice Aldis. Its always clean and the staff are nice. Today they seemed to be out of stock on stuff though.

Always have exactly what I need when I go, and I can always buy about 2 weeks of groceries for myself (a single adult living alone) for around 50 dollars. Cheap but quality products also have good deals on different special items. Also carry a lot of foreign chocolates that are very tasty and good to give as gifts to people. Produce section is always top notch and staff are so nice! I love it when cashiers are efficient and friendly.

2020, world wide pandemic. So here we are.With most businesses requiring customers and employees to wear facial coverings nowadays, cashier at aldi had her mask attached at the top and flopping around at the lower part. Not sure how she modified or altered it but her mask was floating in the air like a kite when she was talking. Whats the point of having a mask?

They always have great prices, and a good selection. Today I was getting their Florida strawberries to make jam. The wonderful cashier caught the fact that I had mistakenly picked up organic more expensive berries. And I had time to run back and find the right berries that were on sale. I very much appreciated her alertness in pointing out my blunder!

Always a five-star shopping experience at Aldis. This chain consistently Beats all of the area food stores and high-quality fresh produce Meats Dairy and Frozen. You just cant beat them !

Their prices are low, the store is well organized, checkout is quick and they compensate their employees better than big retail chains that cant accomplish half of that.

Aldis it sure I would recommend to anyone especially someone pinching pennies. A lot of this stuff is reduced in price and they do have an abundance a product you to choose from. So if youre pinching pennies as I do quite often all these might be the place for you to go.

This store is fantastic! They help when I cant find what I am looking for but thats isnt too often because ithe store is layed out great.

Ok, I have always associated Aldis with cheap products that people only buy in times of hardship (speaking from personal experience). That being said I had not been to an Aldis in years. Wow have things changed!!! Jumbo scallops, artisan cheeses and meats, some of the best produce around, and all at unreal prices! If you have not been to Aldis in a long time or you have never been - go check it out spend some time and really look at what they have!

Contrary to a previous reviewers opinion, this store is certainly an in-and-out experience. At times, the friendly and helpful associates are so quick to scan that they end up waiting on ME to unload items from my cart! The store is always clean, and the remodel is fantastic! I have to say that I really enjoy my small-talk with the associates, and I find that the customers are pretty great too.

Ehh. Not much of a meat selection. The only really good selection is cheap chips and candy. But Wal-Mart has that too and I dont have to pay a quarter for a cart. I compared prices and was shocked that everything was less at Wal-Mart.

Great store, lots of parking, clean. They could use more check out lanes, but I read that they do this to keep prices low.

Its a nice clean store and cashier was nice. I didnt like finding a real BAD, mushy 5 lb bag of yellow potatoes in the produce area. It made me sick! Then I found mold growing in a bag of fresh organic green beans that supposedly is a new item to the store. And they wanted $3.49 for that small bag!* So if you shop here, then you must inspect everything and check dates that is not in a can or frozen!! I will only go back if Im not getting produce items.

Very clean...nice place to shop.

They only take cash or debit, but their produce is SNAZZY. Fresh and big and taaasty!They also have low prices on lots of snack pack type foods for lunches and they have an odd aisle for goods like lawn chairs and work out equipment.They have a good freezer section and tons of breads of all kinds!

Friendly helpful staff! Always when I ask for something they dont carry they try to add it to their stock in the store like for example lasagna noodles and frozen spinach

Good variety of food you can’t get elsewhere and NO MSG! Many chemicals are left out of Aldi brand foods. If you want a good example, look at the label of Clancy’s (Aldi brand) bbq potato chips next to a national brand. Clancy’s is full of spices while the national brand is full of chemicals.

Aldi has come a long way from when I used to shop there. On a whim I decided to stop in for a few things as I had not visited this one since it was built in Dixon a couple of years ago. Sure glad I did!! Has about the best cheese selecrion in the who Sauk valley area. I would have never had guessed that. Even nice selection of Thai and Indian foods and sauces. Very pleased !!

I love this Aldi! Very clean and well organized. Friendly customer service and check out lines are not too bad. I can buy 98% of what my family needs for groceries here for a fraction of the price of Wal-Mart or the other local stores.
