I was provided a list of body shops after some hail damage to my car. I decided to come to this location and was beyond impressed with the communication, updates, and fast repairs. All of the hail damage is gone and it took less than two days. They even recommended I arrange a rental car through my insurance and I was able to leave the rental car when I picked up my vehicle. They take care of everything for you! There were about 30 dents all over and now it is like new.

Professional. Was able to upload pictures of work via email and got a quote via email. Work performed on schedule at price quoted. Work was to repaint bumper after some surface damage (no body work). Satisfied with outcome. Communicative and straightforward to deal with. Hopefully won’t have reason to use again but if I do, will definitely return.

I visited 3 body shops to get quotes for the paint repair I needed on my SUV tailgate. Although Carstar’s quote was slightly higher than the lowest quote I received I chose them because of the assessment done by Ezekiel. He brought out the paint mechanic to review other less expensive repair options, took the time to explain the services in the quote, and promised the repairs would be done within the time frame with my travel schedule. None of the other shops were close in delivering this level of service and professionalism- that’s why Carstar got my business. I happy to report they did not disappoint- the service was completed on time and the final cost was less than quoted!

I had a great experience with CARSTAR for the repair of my 2021 Kia Telluride. I called before choosing this shop to repair my vehicle, as Tellurides are a relatively new model and I wanted to be sure I chose a shop with experience working on them. The person I spoke with took the time to explain their training process and answered all my questions. During the repair process, I received regular updates from Rob about the status of my car. One part took a long time to arrive but Rob always called when he had new information. When my car was ready, the pickup was seamless and my car looked great. I would choose them again to perform any repairs in the future.

My VW was in on an insurance case. I was given a list of repair shops by State Farm and this was the closest to me. They were very courteous, did a good job fixing the car. They called repeatedly to update me and i was extremely happy. I had an issue with my vehicle and mileage and they reacted with immediacy wanting to resolve the matter to fully completion. They were genuine in their efforts to ensure complete satisfaction and impressed me.

Thoroughly good service was my experience at this location. I noticed another location which made it clear how much better it is when the place os independently owned. Where ever they care about ratings you can expect to get something closer to what youre looking for if nit exact. Dilip is clearly a family man so that also makes gim more understanding than those running business under some district manager. If you see this and look for something else good luck but this guy put me a brand new head light for the orice of a ysed one.

Besides doing such a great job with my car they are super kind. I though my car was going to come out with a noise, with a after crash unfixable damage, but my car was left like new. It drove like nothing happened and looked like new. I am glad they took care of this big concern for me. A plus is that they always got my calls about my inquiries and addressed all my questions assertively. They speak English and Spanish. Some days I just felt like talking in Spanish. They accommodated for me from someone who spoke English to someone that spoke Spanish. The set up with the new person was smooth and easy. Nothing complicated, they are all well informed. The team communication is excellent, and I did not have to do anything (no need to explain my situation to the new person, no bad attitude for switching, no wasted time or energy here).Being in crash is already a horrible situation, It makes the whole world difference what body shop you end up at. After a crash there is no need of an extra burden. That’s why I recommend them at a 100%. They took care of me and the car.

I cant say enough great things about the good folks at Universal. I dropped my pride and joy off on Monday for some paintwork and it was finished by Wednesday. No delays. No missed deadlines. They told me when it would be finished and nailed it. There was an issue with the badging on my car and Sergio (the manager) handled it promptly and with the utmost professionalism. I would not hesitate to take my vehicle to them in the future!!!I also appreciate them taking the time to clean the INTERIOR of the vehicle, as well as the outside. Very nice touch.

I have brought my mothers car, my wifes car and now mine here in the past two years and have seen amazing results. I first starting coming here after reading the reviews and had some major body work done. Today, I called for some minor scratches on my 1 month old new truck. I thought it was a bit overkill for me to bring the truck here for these scratches, but I simply dont trust anyone else. Once again, looks brand spanking new.

Ive lived in Brookhaven for about 5 years now, but Ive roamed BuHi for like 15+ years... I feel slightly ashamed Ive never popped into Carstar Universal for my car problems. Well - Ill definitely be back!There are a few car spots available for parking, but lets be real, your car is there to be fixed. Youre not shopping, lol.I really like the inside of Carstar. Its very clean, well decorated, and good seating! Most car shops Ive been to... uh, theyre dirty and I want to leave stat. But Carstar is definitely kept up well!*Theyre also in compliance with Covid regulations and I saw lots of hand sanitizers, etc.Long story, short - I was in a hit and run. Car tire left a nice mark on the back of my bumper. Sigh. Super annoying. Especially during Covid.I actually met Sergio (Owner) via a FB page for that helps connections here in ATL - go check it out! I put up my car picture and got responses from people (including Sergio)/shops. Sergio is a vendor of the page. Which made me feel better. When I researched his name/shop, I felt even more relieved.I wasnt entirely sure how bad my car damage was so I contacted Sergio via FB. He gave great scenarios from minimal surface scuff/damage to ok, if its bad, we can get better estimates. I appreciated that since I feel like most places just make you feel way more paranoid about your car damages.I forgot to get the name of the girl that took my call/saw me for my appt (sorry!), but she was super nice and personable. She gave me the waiver, got my key, took my car back, and... 15 mins later, my car was done. Apparently, it was just some scuff. My bumper looks brand new. I was expecting to stay for an hour lol. I even brought my work laptop! *I came at 8:30am for my appt, so I was probably 1st one up for the day.If you happen to come at a busy time, you can always walk a little on BuHi. There are places to eat/shop at to waste time.Thank you Sergio for a painless way to fix my car and running a quick/efficient shop!!

Universal Body Shop and Collision is amazing! They are so attentive and quick with their repairs and interactions with the insurance company! I was in a car accident the first day I arrived in Atlanta for a 6 week internship and when they received my car two weeks later, they went right to work. Even with the time crunch, they went above and beyond and were able to have my car ready just in time for my return back to school in Florida! (yes repairs took a long time, but it was mostly due to delays with the other driver’s insurance company, who were responsible for all my repairs.) Eran, who worked with me the whole time, did more than I could possibly ask for! She always keep me updated and reassured that things were going to be okay. On my last day in town she drove an hour away to pick up a single bolt for my car! I probably wasn’t the easiest person to deal with due to all the anxiousness of the collision, dealing with the insurance company, time constraints, and my vehicle being new, but they made me feel right at home. Sergio was very easy going and knowledge whenever I talked to him. On the last day in town, I had to come back into the shop an hour before closing because something didn’t feel right with my car. He immediately went with me on a test drive to check out my concerns and were able to resolve them! Long story short, these guys are awesome! Being in a different city and having never been in a such a big accident, Universal Body Shop and Collision really helped make the whole process easier for me.

Universal Body Shop has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The manager and staff are exceptional. Their estimate was very fairly priced, and the quality of the work was outstanding. I didn’t get work done here, but I brought my car in to get a quote for repairs. I called ahead of time, at 4:10 on Wednesday. Carlos was very kind on the phone. They said that they usually don’t see new cars after 4:30, but that they would take a look and if they didn’t have time to write it up that day, they would get me the quote the next day. Even though I got there at 4:45, they still gave me a quote! Sergio was efficient and professional, checked my car out and gave me a free quote in less than 15 minutes. The two women working at the front desk were polite and kind as well. If I ever need work done to my car, I’ll definitely bring it to Universal!

I had to get my hood repainted on my BMW M4 and Universal did a great job. The hood blended well with the fenders and front bumper and was impossible to tell it did not like this from the factory. The work was done in a timely manner with great communication throughout the process. The car was also well taken care of, and I feel like Sergio also shared a great deal of knowledge with me about the ins and outs of the process, and also maintenance in the future. These guys are knowledgeable about their line of work, and professional. They have all the tools and skills in my opinion.

I am very particular about anything I have to pay get professionally done. I had faith in Universal Body Shop, and chose them based solely off their reviews. I had a back-left damaged fender flare, and had to replace all four fender flares. Universal did me a huge favor fitting me in the same day, and replacing all four fender flares in an afternoon. Great price for labor and extremely nice people. Highly recommend them!

Carlos is such a thorough and trustworthy young man that when he commented that I might want to get another estimate just to compare, I said, No, I know that you will do the job as quoted. I have a 2015 vehicle and feel that I deserve the best for my repair. They went above and beyond what any other body shop has ever done. They filed the claim and got an adjuster to come out from the at fault parties insurance, even though they did not need to do it. They did a great job repairing our Kia after the handle was crushed and door dented. They communicated throughout the process and helped manage the details that had to be handled for insurance.

The thing that I really like about this body shop is that they try to help you sincerely. If you are not satisfied with their works, you could talk it out and work with them. I got into an accident. My rear bumper was damaged. They only took a few days to to fix my car. At first, I was not 100% happy with their works because they missed some points that I requested them to fix. I left with my car that day. They called me back later saying that I could bring my car back so they could fix them for me. They added details cleaning and fixed the scratches at front on my car for free in 2 days after I brought my car back. Overall, I think this body shop is one rank higher than other body shops. I strongly recommend this bodyshop to everyone!

These guys are way too good at what they do! Trust me, you need to go to these guys.They re-did my bumper for a very awesome rate. I didnt have to buy a new one, and they made the old one look like nothing happened to it.They are very highly experienced at what they do and I will be going to them again for any body shop needs.As a side note: Other places charged me 400 to 500 more. The dealer charged me 1500 more!

Universal is top notch. I did a lot of research before choosing a body shop and Universal was the right choice. I cant tell that my car had been in an accident at all. A lot of blending had to be done on my Lexus which can be tricky at times. They also use OEM parts rather than aftermarket which I was grateful for. Mileydy was extremely helpful as she kept me in touch through the whole process by giving me frequent updates. One big issue I normally have with other body shops in the past is the lack of communication and updates and this was not the case here. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

This used to be a good shop, but the latest repair work I had performed by them lacked the quality or care that I used to like them for. No attention to detail.They did a great job with the actual metal work, but neglected to match the lights, botched painting my wheels after taking an extra day - and today, I discovered they didnt bother to actually screw the undertray to car.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I had some minor damage from hitting a call box at my apartment gate and brought my car in for an estimate. Sergio greeted me at the door and after looking at my car brought it back immediately. The repair took almost no time and afterwards he made sure to walk me back out to my car and explain exactly what they did. My car looks as if nothing happened! I did not have a good experience here. I saw the amazing ratings and then drove all the way from Alpharetta to get my Front Bumper replaced. After they gave me an initial estimate I dropped off my car, from that till I picked up they revised the estimate 3 times to 150% of the initial estimate. After I picked up my car (in the afternoon) I got back home and noticed that the Right indicator light was not working and there was some damage to the fender. When I took my car back to them they fixed the light but refused to acknowledge that the fender was damaged in their care. Before I gave my car for repair I took a look at the bumper and the fender (which is attached to the bumper) very closely so I know it was not damaged before. I went there with high hopes (I drove 3-4 times to this place from Alpharetta) and was utterly disappointed by the service. I will not be returning there for any services what so ever in the future.

Universal Body shopped exceeded my expectations to the fullest. I have a 2010 BMW E92 M3 and refuse to take my vehicle somewhere that does not take care of the car as their own. I was told the M3 would be put indoors over night, and it was (I came at night to verify, and saw that it wasnt kept outdoors). The mileage on my car was kept at a minimal so unlike many other places, the workers did not drive it! (what a relief). Besides the small technicalities, this place did an amazing job with an amazing price. Everything that was worked on looked brand new. I was even offered additional services at a cheaper cost than the competitors in the ATL area. I have recommended this place to 4 of my friends and coworkers AND recommend it to anyone else..Friendly staff and fast service..I give it an A++

If I could give Universal Body Shop more than 5 stars, I would. I will NEVER go anywhere else. The only two accidents I have ever been in were at the fault of the other driver. Both times, the driver was not paying attention and slammed into the back of my car causing extensive damage. That being said, not being from the area and being a woman, I was nervous about taking my car anywhere. So, a friend of mine, who has classic cars and only goes to Universal Body Shop, referred me.From start to finish, they have always gone above and beyond for me (both times). They are honest, have great customer service and do awesome work. The entire process is/was as seemless as possible. They are on the other side of town from me but having that peace of mind is worth the 30 minute drive. I hope to not get into any more accidents but they have a customer for life.*** Just to show the kind of people they are -After my first accident, my car was in the shop. I had to travel and it wasnt until on my way to the airport I realized my license was nowhere to be found. I remembered my passport was in my car (stupid, I know; wont ever happen again). Mitsy (sp?) from Universal Body Shop drove all the way to the airport, in rush hour traffic, to bring me my passport so I wouldnt miss my flight. Though I do not recommend anyone doing that or asking her to do that, to me, that just shows what kind of people they have running that establishment.
