I’ve had a storage unit with Chestnut self storage for about three years. I’ve never had any problems there staff has always been very helpful. I just upgraded my storage to a larger unit. They really care about there customers! Great prices also!Thank youChestnut Self Storage

Easy to get in and out of the facility. Getting the key and access the first time was easy. Seems very secure.
Great place with plenty of room, staff is very nice and grounds and hallways are kept clean. Would recommend if youre looking for a temporary / cheaper place to store your items!
Theres not enough good things I can say about Ed at Chestnut. He could tell that my fiance and I had been through the most & after leaving another U-Haul location because of the bad service I received, Im so glad I did.Its as if Ed was the fresh breath of air I needed in a sea of manure 😉Seriously, this man went above and beyond his job to give us a good experience.... and we ended up coming back again 2 days later when we needed to rent a U-Haul again due to unfortunate circumstances and we also got a storage unit. I highly recommend Chestnut storage for any of these services.
I have nothing but good this to say about this company they are affordable and they really work with you......Ive had a storage with them for 3years and today Im finally moving my stuff out.... Im kinda going to miss them but that bill

I have been a tenant at this facility since September of 2018 having 2 units. When I first moved in, the manager was a very nice lady named Cecilia. I had previously given them 5 Star Review. In April 2019, I rented a 3rd Unit to use as overflow and process downsizing to one unit with Fred.On 04/29/2019, I logged into the residents portal and submitted a service ticket. All 3 of my units are on the end of one row. The big flood security light on my end was out causing it to be uncomfortably dark. I gave them approx. 1 week to fix it, never received any resolution. I then emailed them with screen shot of my submission. The new manager Angela stated that she was unaware and never seen my request and then proceeded to say the next day in her response that Georgia Power had been on property and fixed the light. I drove across town only to be in the dark still. I took pictures and submitted to management. Over half of the lights were out on the property including both on my row.I then wrote back to her and explained that due to medical reasons I can not work in the hot summer daytime due to a disability and limitations. I also asked that I be kept updated on any delays and in the loop should something understandable was causing a issues, and a approx eta. This courtesy was never given. I asked that they please get the issue resolved and mentioned my wishes to condense down to one unit.At this point time went on through May and June. The issue was never resolved, I sent pictures demanding this be fixed, but during this time I had to pay $250 in May ($150 for two extra units), plus the same in June.In June before paying rent, I requested that they provide credit as their lack of maintenance and failing to providing the basic amenities listed on their website, as well as disregarding the limitations and my need for them to fix it so that I could do the work I needed to do later in the day and discriminating me for my disability and getting me to pay for units I am trying to move out of.On June 18, I was charged $45 in late fees ($15 per unit), irritated because of lack of response from Angela, I asked if they would at least credit the late fees I would pay the rent and deal with it later....I also requested the companies policies on repairs, security, and safety. She wrote back saying her GM did not approve the credit. I spent several days trying to get the information and was never provided. On June 29 the 15th day I had not received any communications with the GM contact info, they then proceeded to tack on $90 in late fees ($30 per unit). At this point the service request had been opened for 60 Days. Angela wouldnt let me contact the GM only provided leases not their company policy only mainly hounding me for payment.After July 8, I contacted and confirmed that they had violated the Dekalb County Codes and filed a complaint. Only July 9 I am locked out of the facility but drive by confirming still APPROX 10 of the 20 lights still remained out 2 months later. I took footage and further documented.Apparently after code enforcement contacted them between JULY 10-12 they lights were fixed but it was after fees growing beyond what I could pay.At this point I have been disrespected, discriminated, and mistreated by the facility. I am in the process of seeking legal assistance. This is my personal experience which went way off course for no viable reason and their failed communication or concern for my safety, health, or business.
Ed was great about explaining what was available, when units were likely to come available, and gave me a good deal when a unit came up that fit what I needed. Fast to return calls too. I’m very happy with the service and availability 24 hrs (no extra charge) at Chestnut Self storage.
The new manager at Chestnut Self Storage is the best. Angela is very efficient and helpful.She is very hands on and takes immediate attention to any situation. And, the property looks great!I am a happy customer! 😀Thank you, Angela!!

Literally had to move because my unit was robbed the staff say they know who did it. It was horrible. Granted to new staff if way better. My experience here ended in a law suite.

This is a disgusting storage facility who never picks up the phone to take payment and today I’ve had it with the disgusting worker named Marisha (Trash Worker)who started to get loud without knowing my account (then the trash says this is a business call back when you know how to speak Meanwhile the trash worker was who started to talk over me without listening & continued yelling) Trash Person I hope to never meet!!! Then the trash wouldn’t charge me then refused to take my payment while still running her mouth on my account and she doesn’t know anything about my account these new people here are straight disgusting people DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! Ive been trying to make a payment these people will purposely not pick up the phone and on top of that charge you extra fees!!! Totally disgusted by the trash people working here!!!!
Glad i am no longer with them. Moved out but they sent me a message that they are going to hit my card even though i moved out. This means they did not closeout my account. I have to waste time to correct this situation. This is no good service.

I was spoken to very rudely by Angela..I explained to her that I didnt know that if you are ten days late they charge 15 dollars then five days later they charge another 30..At first my. Payment was 24 now its 69 by may it will be 109 just for my clothing.The lady read over the entire contract but failed to read that part about the late feesShe said Id be charged a late fee but not forty five dollars. Initially I told them I was getting over having pneumonia so I missed three weeks... Angela said it was a business and I should of read my contract. They dont give you the contract until after you signThe lady only shows you where to sign and initial. I heard many bad things about chestnut storage I wouldnt have rented from them but on line it says absolute storage

Great customer service when you move in, but as soon as you try to move out, they become rude and unprofessional and will go out of their way to find ways to charge you.
Got kicked out because my abusive ex abuser found me and beat me up. It was hard to believe that the woman who owns the place and her female manager could be so backwards on the decision to kick me out. I rented my unit for five years without any issues. They called the police an hour before the deadline and tried to have me arrested for trespassing. The new owners are pigs And very very dirty
