I rented a storage unit while downsizing and moving in with my fiancé and I have to say that this was a seamless experience! This was my first time renting a storage unit, so of course I had my doubts, however the cleanliness of the space and the customer service far exceeded my expectations! I received a discount for being a first time customer and accessing my space was always a breeze. The staff were always available to answer my questions and if I had to leave a voicemail they responded within one business day. My fiancé and I have recently moved into our new home and there have been no issues with my belongings that were in the unit for 6 months. Move in was super easy and not very time consuming. I have been renting a 5x5 unit here for 5 months and no complaints, I finally decided to move to a bigger unit but was worried about the move. I came in and met with Fred to ask about a bigger unit. Fred provided all information and made it even EASIER to switch over. He was extremely helpful/friendly and was able to get me a unit close to the one I am currently in.

Fred was (fabuloso) really great on helping me today and he was really nice and funny.

My experience with life storage was like one of no other. Natalie was very kind and patient with me far as answering all my mini questions! She has excellent customer service skills, very resourceful and one of the sweetest most Politis customer service rep I’ve dealt with so far in the state of Georgia. Ive always found that dealing with the personnel, specifically Natalie Battle, has been very satisfactory. Natalie has been very helpful and efficient.Company policy, e.g. refusing to transfer rental name from a deceased spouse to surviving spouse with a death certificate, is a rediculous policy, especially when the survivor is now paying the rental fees.

Updating a great year later, I had two units here and now Im moving to another state Im going to use Life Storage there solely because of how amazing it is to rent here in Doraville. The customer service is top notch!You simply arent going to find a cheaper, more convenient or helpfully no contact storage center. The service is top notch considering you can rent a climate controlled storage area and drive up to it same day without having to wait in line at a desk.

DO NOT RENT A UNIT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They have a rat infestation at store #151 4427 Tilly Mill Road Doravillle GA 30360. All of my property was damaged. I have damage to chairs, holes in boxes the size of two large grapefruits, bedding that is shredded to pieces, and droppings every where!!!As I go to write this review I find that this issue has been reported more than 9 months ago. This is absolutely unacceptable as a facility to have not treated or notified tenants of the problem. Now, my entires life worth of things are ruined and irreplaceable. The store manager was not empathetic at all and was not helpful. I am in tears as I write this review. If I could leave no stars at all I absolutely would. Please save your items and yourself a heartbreak by doing yourself a favor by not storing here or any life storage facility for that matter!

Amos was extremely helpful and very informative. He was patient with us and very understanding after we had a not so great experience @ another location. We were down from Ohio, placing our daughters items from college in storage. Prior to leaving Amos made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we were able comfortable with entering in our code.

The new person at the front desk front definitely knows what shes doing. Shes VERY informative and respectful and most importantly patient. Before, I was never able to reach anyone over the phone but now I at least get told to hold and she actually switches over to me. I would recommend them to everyone who needs a clean and very secure storage facility. They also have cameras just about everywhere.

Have used them in the past. clean and safe place. Also, they have a van which you can use to move items. it used to be free but now they are charging $30 and mileage.

The young lady that was helping me was very professional and patient. I guess the store manager walked in she was standing over the young lady while she finished up the paperwork looking over it. She made her charge me something I didn’t asked for. The way she talks to customers is unprofessional and the way she talks to her employees are unprofessional.

We just recently used life storage for the first time and besides being one of the best customer service over the phone when you contact the 1-800 number they have great customer service and theyre Atlanta store located on Tilly Mill Road as well. Tiara Baker was the one who helped us and she went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied customers and could get taken care of what we needed to. They truly put us first and helped us in any way they possibly could. You dont find many people better yet businesses like that these days. So way to go Tiarra and way to go to Life Storage

Outstanding facility. Its clean and the temperature is excellent. I have been using them for over 10 years and never had a problem. Excellent facility and I recommend everyone to use them.

The reasons for my 3 star review are simple. While the facility appears to be well run and clean, they do not clearly indicate that you must have a lock and proof of storage insurance with you when you rent a unit. Its my belief that this information is not clearly communicated so that the business can use the opportunity to sell you overpriced insurance (when your homeowners insurance already covers this use) and locks. In fact, there is no legal reason why they cant simply have you sign a waiver that acknowledges that you dont have insurance and waives any claims against them that would have been covered by insurance. There are many other self storage companies that do the same thing, but I still believe that the practice is wrong.

Ive been renting from Life Storage (previously Uncle Bobs) since 2004, and theyve always been great. The facility is clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rates are really good. Highly recommended!
