Recently I took my vette for a drivers side window issue. I was told there were 2 faulty clips. A few hours later I was told the regulator and motor were faulty and it would cost over $1K to repair. I stopped using Solomon Chevrolet years ago because they seem to over charge just to make more money. Ive been driving to Gilland Chevrolet (out of town) to have my vette repaired. Their services and pricing appear very reasonable. I know and respect Archie Solomon, but I will never take my cars back to that dealership again. This incident was not the first time my repair bill has been sky high.

Got there at 7:17AM for oil change and tire rotation and several other cars were there. No appts only first come first serve but we set there till 11:00AM and people’s vehicles were taken back that came in after us. It is first come first serve if u bought ur vehicle there it seems. A lady came in after us for an oil change and tire rotation, said she had been there before and was called in within 20 minutes. They even ask u if u have been there before which shouldn’t matter we all bought GM vehicles. They didn’t want to accept my warranty info and I had to give them a check till they knew warranty company would pay. Do not use this place unless u bought ur vehicle with them and u want to sit there all day no matter what time u get there. Couldn’t even ask questions about my vehicle and get answers.

Took my car in yesterday Thursday for overheating and other problems. Picked it up yesterday and was told it was was a A warped cap on my radiator today I overheat on 231 I called up to Solomon Chevrolet in though receptionist said that she would have a manager call me that was at 8 o’clock this morning it is now 5:54 they’re closed and nobody has called me I would never buy a car from this place or take my car to get fixed here because they obviously do not care about their customers and money you spend to get your car fixed and it’s never fixed should I mention this is the third time this vehicle has been in there for this over heating problem. Maybe I’ll get their attention by standing outside the dealership holding up a sign and letting everybody know what’s going on they steal your money And don’t fix your car. Customer service is awful. I was left side of 231 for over 2 1/2 hours Broke down all because they didn’t fix the problem.

I was the 2nd one there that day for an oil change. I was kept waiting 2 1/2 hours. It was my first one for this car. It had 2500 miles on it. They charged me because it was past the date. Ask me if I had bought it there, like if I had they would not have charged me. Right now, I will never go back there. Never had such poor treatment at a dealership in my life.Sandra Shaw

The salesman was okay but his supervisor was terrible. There was clear body damage to the rear and drivers side and he gave me an unbelievably hard time on coming down on the price to compensate for it. The car had less than a half tank of gas, no windshield washer fluid, and nobody could tell me when the oil was changed last. Not to mention I had been pre-approved through my bank and the financing department refused to send my bank the documents that they were requesting and instead went through a local contact at my bank. I would definitely not recommend buying from them!!

Wanted to get estimate on getting my vehicle fixed but they were in a meeting and the receptionist told me it would only be a few minutes and I waited for 30 minutes. Saw one of the reps come out and help someone else but never came to check on mine.

Very disappointed. First I had to have a new key made, Chevy cobalt 2007. They gave me a faulty key which I could not program. I had to have my car towed back to them to remake a key. The service technician told me he would not charge me the $110 for the key and programming since it was not my fault that the key was faulty and would not program. I arrived to pick up my car and was charged $99 for programming my new key which they gave me a faulty one for to start with. I talk to a manager who would not budge it was extremely rude his name was Tony Clark the service technician came out and interrupted our conversation saying he indeed never told me that I would not be charged so now I am out the towing fee and a programming fee which I did not ask for had the key been correct the first time I could have programmed it myself. Therefore I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. Also my car is not running properly since reprogramming this key. It cuts off and runs rough

We got stranded while traveling pulling our RV with the DEF system alarm shutting down the engine speed. Even with the DEF filled it would not allow speed over 45. Your service manager and diesel technician were exempalary and efficient. They rescued us from what was a disaster to us. Your technician quickly identified the issue and corrected it. We will always be forever grateful. Thank you

Had a major problem because my truck was stuck in 4WD. Turns out I had forgotten the secret combination to change it back to 2WD. Brad explained the proper procedure to me and everything is fine. Since no work was done on the truck, repair bill was Zero Dollars!!Thank You Solomon!!

Had a new engine installed in my car here. Car ran good but kept smelling gas. Turns out the fuel pressure sensor was spraying gas everywhere. You would think for the price paid for a new engine they would take enough time to make sure everything was tight!

Never an issue with Solomon they always do what is asked and in a somewhat timely manner. Some days are longer than other, but no issues with the waiting area.

The salesman, Dax Herring, was great! The store and product is great! We only took issue with the Business Manager, Hill Walker. He was rude, extremely pushy, and he attempted to mislead me regarding financing my purchase. When I called him out about it, he tried to make me feel his deception was my fault. I understand he gets kickbacks for steering folks to certain financial institutions with certain terms, but dont try to deceive and bully people into this. I was extremely close to walking away and would have if another dealership had a similar vehicle available, just based on his treatment of me.

Well other than having to wait almost 3 hours for an oil change everything was great I was told I didnt need an appoint for an oil change I got there around 8:45 I think you should have more techs to do oil changes.

Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I looked at EVERY Chevrolet dealer from Dothan to Panama City to Pensacola to Marianna and every one in between. I wanted a Spark. NOBODY treated me with the same respect as Daniel at Solomon Chevrolet.I bought my Spark used, but the price was still just a little out of my budget for financing, but they were able to bring the price down to MORE than reasonable to accommodate me. This is my first NEW NEW vehicle, and I love it. Daniel answered all of my silly little questions in detail, and there wasnt a single one that he didnt immediately know an answer to.I will never purchase another vehicle from one of the buy here, pay here shacks. I will be returning to Solomon Chevrolet. I had fun buying this car. There was no stress and no intense pressure to BUY NOW. As someone who recently moved to this area, its hard to find a dealer you can trust to do service work accurately, affordably, and honestly. I needed a couple of recalls done on my 2014 Silverado, along with a transmission service.I made the appointment for 3/11 and dropped the pickup off first thing in the morning. It was done on time, it was done accurately, and it was waiting by the front door when I arrived to pick it up.I can say that Solomon Chevrolet is the dealer that does the work accurately, affordably and honestly. I wont hesitate to take either of my GM vehicles there for future maintenance/repairs, and when the time comes to replace them, Solomon will be first on my list.I do have to say one negative about the online appointment scheduling-its not so great. Apparently the service advisor listed in the confirmation email isnt even employed there, and the day after the work was done I received an email telling me that I missed the appointment...

The salesman was great but I warn all do not buy a vehicle from them used as I did. The tires were dry rotted and sadly I never checked until I had to get new ones. They switch good tires to bad ones

John Sistrunk was very helpful when my parents came in to buy a new car. He helped them find the exact one they wanted, even though the car was located at another facility. He got it here for them in a very short amount of time. When it is time for me to update my impala I will definitely be coming to see John. Couldnt have asked for a more kind man. Especially since most car salesman make me want to run for the hills. John made to experience enjoyable for all involved.

I dont know about the sales part itself but if you want your vehicle worked on there you might as well forget it. They told us to bring our vehicle Thursday night and they would have it done Friday. We explained the urgency we had due to that vehicle being my mode of transportation for work and getting my 8 month old child where she needed to go. We had to call them 2 times Friday. Once to find out they hadnt even started on the vehicle and then another time for them to tell us it would be after Monday before they would get to it. My husband spoke to a manager after that who assured him they would fix it that day. They called back a few minutes later to tell us they WOULD NOT work on it unless we paid them for a new battery. We originally put it in there for a recalled part that we were told by the dealership we bought the car from needed to have replaced after the car quit. We went to get the car so we could put a new battery on it and the 2 men that were in there were EXTREMELY RUDE AND HAD SMART MOUTHS we had to get the car running without any help from them whatsoever. Needless to say we put a battery on my car and are going elsewhere to have the rest of the work done. I would never recommend them to anyone and even after talking to people where we went to get our battery we found out they also had a terrible experience there.

I own a Saturn and I have taken it to Solomon Chevrolet a few times for both major and regular maintenance. They always do a great job and check to make sure everything is working correctly. Caine specifically always gives me the best recommendations and the vehicle has been running great ever since. Top notch guys over in the service center. Very concerned about my problem, when the dealership I purchased it from was not.

We were here to get a G.M. recall done on our 2016 Chevy Spark my Husband popped the hood and told the Service Writer Shawn there was a Noise coming from a another part according from Shawn the noise was common and that all 4 cylinders sounded like a sewing machines not to worry the part was a vacuum pump that made the brakes power brakes and it never made the noise it was making when we got the car brand new in 2016 about 2 weeks later we stop at Walmart on the way home and returning to the car it wont start come to find out later the part failed causing major upper engine damage since it was attached to the cam shaft causing us to have to get another engine we only had just over 56.000 miles on the original engine this would not had happen if Shawn would of added the additional information for the Tec that was doing the recall my husband was in the Army for 20 years and the first ten was a Mechanic even though he worked on all makes and models he worked mostly on Dodges and matter fact he has 2 Dodges a 1990 and a 1992 Dynasty that he does all his own work but when the changes happen in 2005 and the Computers got more crazier he stop working on the newer models To buy a Car here we wont but the Sales Department might O.K. The Tecs in the Shop Might also be O.K. But after what happen with Shawn the Service Writer I wont TRUST the Service Department

If I could give 0 stars I would. If you did not buy your vehicle from them, do not try them for any service. I made an appointment for new plugs and wires. Dropped the truck off in the morning . A day and a half later no one had even touched the truck. We drove an hour to specifically use the service department at this dealership because of the good ratings. I could not be more disappointed or angry. Total and complete waste of my time. Was given the run around. Was told I would be kept posted. I never heard anything. Called several times to check on the truck only to be told they would get to it. Finally gave up and went back to pick up the truck and took forever to get the key! This was the most horrible place and service I have ever had. Or lack of service should I say. Thoroughly disgusted

I took my Equinox to Solomon Chevrolet after an accident recently. The repair took about three to four weeks longer than expected due to the extent of the damage they didnt realize until a couple of weeks in. I understand that happens sometime and tried to be as patient as possible. They were nice to rent a vehicle for me for the last week of the time, which did help.However, when I picked up my vehicle, a button had come off my center console at some point during the repair/ detailing. I went back to the Service Dept. within a couple of days to inquire about having it replaced. They said their guys had not broken it and I would have to pay well over $300 to have it replaced (the entire console would have to be replaced).I get that its my word against theirs and I cant prove it. And its just a button, after all. Still, its unfortunate and unprofessional that they will not resolve the situation by fixing their mistake. As a result, I will not be using Solomon Chevrolet again or be recommending them to others.

My husband and I actually went in to buy a used car. I had one picked out, but John told me he would prefer not putting me in that car because I needed something reliable to drive to school each day. I told him I needed something small with great mileage and how much we could afford to pay. I was flabbergasted when he told us we could get a NEW car for what our payment range was! He took us to the exact car that I needed! My new Chevrolet Spark is perfect for getting me (and my granddaughter) to Wallace every day! Thirty mpg in town! Thirty nine on the highway! We will definitely go back to John Sistrunk at Solomon Chevrolet for all our vehicle needs!
