Unlike big stores, easy to get in and easy to get out quickly. And prices are very compatible and generally have what I need.

I went in to get a key made and also to inquire about getting another key made for my car. The guy who made my key was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of them. He also had a great personality! I will definitely be back!!

Went to ACE to find grill. The one on floor had scratches. Colin said he could order one be in by next Wednesday (6/9/2021). Said they could put together for me prob not Wednesday but soon after. Ordered Weber Genesis II 325 and rotisserie. Called Thursday am, grill came in ask lady to please tell them to check and make sure nothing was scratched, stated she would. Went by ACE Thursday at 2:30 pm.4 guys standing around middle desk. Spoke to Justin an asked when he might have grill put together. Stated he was going to get started on it in the next 30 to 45 minutes. Tried to be nice and said not pushing you just thing about that chicken on the rotisserie. It hadn’t come in yet. Friday at 2:00 I called and spoke to Colin who said he was going to start on it in a little while. He was the only one who done that and he had been working on Polaris’s that were backed up for a month but he knew that wasn’t my fault. I said okay. Saturday, 6/12/21, stopped by the store, ask Colin was grill ready, said is this your indigo Weber here in the box. The only thing done to it was the box was open and you could see grill parts. Justin was putting a metal rake together nearby. Explained I was told it was getting put together 2 times. Justin chimed in and said we can’t help other things come up but I explained you shouldn’t have told me you were going to work on it if you weren’t. 4 guys in store again that I saw. Colin said the only thing I know you can do is return it I told him fine. I guess ACE is not concerned with $1000 loss. I have done business here for a long time never any problems. But this was ridiculous.Caryl Trawick

Very friendly and helpful. Bonus points for an employee NEVER ONCE giving me the puzzled look and saying Uhhh well, uhh whatterya trying ta do...? As that seems to be the go-to response at the bigger stores.Prices are as-good-as or better than the BBSs. If you need to grab a few parts, and get back to doin what you gotta do... This is your spot.

The hardware store wannabe....independent ownship has stores sooo very proud of their merchandise that they overcharge so you will shop elsewhere. Ads announcing curbside service are simply hot air. Only acknowledgement to disabled is a single spot & absent the promised curbside anything. Pity cuz Ace used to be THE PLACE. Now is the Waste a space. Employees soo busy fumbling for pennies that they triip over dollars.

Went to three different home/hardware stores prior to trying this location and none of them carried the product Ive searched for, for two days! The moment I walked inti this store, I was greeted with a smile from the manager and I asked if by chance they had the product. Lo & behold they had one left! Ace truly is the place and from now on Ace in Dothan will be the FIRST place I go for my home & hardware needs, not the fourth!

You will be helped with your shopping. Just ask an ACE associate, you will agree with my observation. ACE IS INDEED THE PLACE WITH THE HELPFUL HARDWARE MEN AND WOMEN. SHOP ACE, YOU SEE.

I just had a very humiliating, first time shopping experience in this store. Would NOT recommend.Really, it would be due to Colin, an employee there at the Dothan store. I was given assistance by Colin and another lady in finding individually sold 3ft. bamboo sticks, after seeing the pack of multiples and me saying that would be too many... They both pointed me to a wall of single sticks. I picked out three. He had to do a price check and came back, in front of everyone to say that there were no individually sold ones, and that I must have opened a pack to get them. I explain again and again that he had just showed me where to pick out the individual items. However, his assinine attitude did not want to admit to that, but instead made me look life a fool.

I went in today to purchase some screws to put on my self closing brackets on my kitchen cabinets....a nice man saw the single screw in my hand and asked if he could help. He right away took the screw and led me to the right place, measured it and asked me how many I needed. I replied 4. I was in and out in less than ten minutes. I spent less than $1 but the help I received was priceless! I will definitely go to Ace more often instead of Lowes just based on the personal service.

Ace Hardware is a great Go-To Place whenever in need of general household goods.As soon as you walk into this establishment you will usually be approached by a friendly and knowledgeable employee eager to assist. The ease of this shopping experience and leaving satisfied is hard to beat. Although much smaller than some of their Competitors, which limits their selection & inventory; I am giving them 5 Stars for their EXCEPTIONAL service.

I love Ace hardware. The staff is always on their game and if I need detailed help they can walk me through it. I go often for the pool section because the quality is better than Lowes and cheaper than the local pool store. The dollar table is my daughters favorite. They have some neat stuff.

This and every other ACE I have ever been to pass fill of freindly, helpful people. Our is like going back in time. They have a great assortment of nuts and bolts and a great paint shop

I shop here multiple times a week during the summer and at least monthly in the winter. I started going because we bought a house w/ a pool so chemicals were always needed. They graciously test your water every trip even if you already have the chemicals you need but more than pool service. I began pickin up other needed hangs as well. I am Always greeted as soon as I walk in with a can I help you find anything. Today I needed to get pic fittings pipe and pool sand and I had what I needed and was gone in less than 7 minutes and as I checked it the cashier greeted me by my first name. Cant do that anywhere else. Thanks folks!
