Im one of the few people that still appreciates book stores. I was so upset when Borders closed. I could spend hours there. Im so glad we still have this independent in our hometown! They have a nice selection in the small space. They offer credit for used books which is great if you can part with your books. I do wish there was a better selection in childrens first books since I love giving those at baby showers. Overall, this place cant be beat. The only other option is BAM at the mall which is pitiful compared to ones Ive visited in other cities. If you prefer a physical book over an electronic one, youll love this place!

Nice little store with neatly arranged bookshelves into categories. I bought a Joseph Heller fiction book for my daughter and a Gary Paulsen classic for my son. It has chairs to sit and read and I will try to use their trade-in policy with some of my books at home next time I visit. Theres a small childrens section too. I found a few history books Id like to buy next time. Good prices and quiet browsing in a convenient location downtown.

The reason I gave it a 4 star is because I went in today and noticed it was a different elderly lady than the last time. It’s only been my 2nd time and my first time I’m guessing was the owner she was very nice and informative. But the lady that worked today NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING! She did not greet or asked if I needed help finding any she just watched me the whole time up until I left I didn’t buy anything because I felt uncomfortable. For it was Close to closing maybe that’s why. But still If you have no sense of customer service you should not be working in a place where you HAVE TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS!

Cute little book store. They have a selection of new books as well. It seems small and a little price compared to ones Ive been in other states but no way to compare to GA because used book stored are hard to find here. The lady running it is nice and helpful.

I used to go here all of the time, loved it until the fat, old blonde woman ruined it.She was all smiles & happy to help until she looked down & saw my ring finger. I was wearing a cheap knockoff ring that looked real & from that point on, she was nothing but short to the point of cold. She claimed the books that I was wanting to trade in were too well loved & they were & still are, in excellent condition.I miss going here but I refuse to while shes still around. Shes ruined that store for me.

Best kept secret in Dville. Turn in your used books for credit, find the golden oldies, or the latest best seller. Knowledgeable staff, great place to while away an afternoon.

I always love going in here and being that I have been a born and raised in Douglasville this little store has been supplying books to me for a while and I really enjoy the people who owned it before and now. The books are reasonably priced with a good selection I never know what I am gonna find
