I’ve never been one to give a bad review but this nail shop was the worst experience I’ve had at a nail shop. If you’re going here for trendy nails don’t bother. They didn’t even know how to do tapered nails. On top of everything else we came in at 7 and they literally had no one there doing nails. Instead of being money hungry they should have just turned us around. I knew it was going down hill from the application process which was lumpy and sloppy me and my sister were just sitting there trying bit to cry because they looked so awful. Because the application was so sloppy they had to do a lot of filling which ended up in both of us getting burnt. My nails are so raw from all the filling the lady did that it burned when I washed my hands at home. And then wanted to charge $65 dollars. If my nails weren’t so raw I’d have taken them off and gone to a nail tech. Save your coins sis if you trying to get anything other than a pedicure. Lesson learned will not be returning. The worst nails I’ve ever gotten.

Today was my first day visiting and I enjoyed the decor, music/ lifestyle channel. Customer service was friendly and professional. My nails are pretty, even and they were more affordable than I was expecting. The establishment was very clean as well. I will be back!

They have fell off over the years! I went in for my birthday set & 6 days later three nails have popped off! They lack customer service & comes off as if you disturbed their peace when it’s time to sit in the chair. I use to enjoy this nail salon but I won’t be back!

Nice clean and relaxing environment. Im glad they now have massage chairs. Their service is always professional, they take their time to do a thorough job, and always alert me when there is an upcharge for a service so there are no surprises. Definitely recommend this place. I have also done S&S, and Eyebrow waxing here.

Ask for Lee he does glow in the dark and he is nice and does a great job ever time I go see him… if he not there I don’t go to anyone else…

Great service! First time going and I love my nails.

Wish I could give no stars. They kept burning me with the nail file to the point that two of my nails are bleeding. I asked for coffin nails and they filed my real nails down to nothing. The raw skin under the nail bed is now exposed and painful when my nail hits things. The lady, Tiffany was so rough with my nails and rude. And unfocused, constantly talking to her friend and burning my nails. This is the most pain I have ever been in with nails.. two days later. There’s spots on my nails missing clear polish on it and my toe nail polish is already chipping. And to make matters worse the next day I came down with a cold. And this salon and the mall is the only place I have been. So go figure.

My daughter and I visited this salon last month to get our nails done, as I was looking for a more affordable salon to get a manicure than my existing. I also was toying with the idea of using my existing salon as the backup to Serenity Nail Bar & Spa (ex. if my Serenity nail tech was not in or too busy when I returned)The nail tech I went with was SUPER friendly! I went in with gel polish and wanted a regular manicure (with gel polish). I had one fingernail that was torn (prior to this service), and I told my tech that I wanted to get it fixed.My tech removed the old polish and then proceeded to use a drill on my natural nail. There were multiple times that I had hot spots while my tech was filing (using the drill on) my natural nail. She asked if I would like my nails cut down, which I replied yes. She repaired my torn nail with SNS, and I had to ask her to cut the nail down more, as it was still noticeably longer than the same nail on my other hand.I paid for my service and left. Upon further inspection of my nails, I noticed:9 of my 10 nails had dips on them (from the drill being used)6 of my 10 nails had spots where the color was not as thick (she did apply two coats of the color, but parts are still see-through - possibly due to the color being a light pink)4 of my 10 nails had the shape different than others (I like the squared look)3 of my 10 nail lengths were not the same (1 noticeably longer than the other when you compare with my other hand)I have attached some photos of my nails. Please disregard my cuticles/sides of my fingers (my nail tech did a wonderful job of cutting my cuticles), as they always look raggedy (I have a nervous habit) after a few days, which is when I snapped these photos.As I mentioned, my nail tech was super friendly and we had a wonderful conversation throughout my service. I wish the quality was as awesome as our conversation. I will not be returning to this salon because of this (my daughter is also not super pleased with her service). Also, while I did not receive a pedicure (so can not speak on that service), I did notice that they do not offer massage chairs at the pedicure stations (which I really enjoy when I do get a pedi).The search for a main/backup location continues.

I was not aware that I had gel polish on my nails until I tried to remove it myself. I went to this nail salon and ask them to remove it. That’s when I learned I had gel polish. The guy there, whom I assume is the owner or manager said that all his techs ask the customer if they want gel or regular. I explained to him that I was not asked he insisted that I was asked. Rather than listening to the customer he became irritated and said “it is finished, whatever happened in the past is done.” I only inquired about not paying for the removal because he said if customer isn’t informed then they don’t pay. Well I asked he he replied “nothing is free.” I won’t be returning.

I was In The parking lot and called to see if there was a wait for pedi. The guy said no wait. I walked in 1 min later and had to wait an hour and still didn’t get the pedi. Then they did a pedi for someone that came in behind me. The lady in front of me was getting her nails done and the tech stopped I the middle of fixing her nail to eat lunch. Then they yelled at the lady when she decided to leave. Worst nail shop experience. Very ghetto. Would never return.

I love it every time I go in this place. Staff is super friendly and cool. No matter who does the work, they are very nice and attentive. One young lady in there is so cool and upbeat. She knows who she is. Even when she isnt doing my nails, her positive energy is always welcomed and her brothers. Hes so nice and makes you laugh. Hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

My nail tech was rude. I asked for confirmation that my color was pink and not purple as the label appeared purple. Idiot responded “I don’t know, you picked the color, not me”. Also he did blotchy work on my nails.The pedicure basins have not been cleaned in a while and it’s very obvious. They do use liners, however there is visible dirt and gunk on the sides of the basins.I definitely won’t be returning.

***Update**** decided to give them another try after not going there for 2 years and it got worse! I went in for SNS and I should have known by the way that they present their colors that I should have walked out. The colors on the wheel are just blobbed on there with no top coat to show how the finished product looked. They do not follow the SNS process at all and they mix the products of different brands of dipping powder. With SNS it is supposed to feel like your natural nails and I feel like I have a glob of acrylic on my nails. The color is uneven and it already looks like I need them redone and it has only been 3 days! Again, the pedicure was good but I suggest just avoiding this place all together. And on their wall it says no refunds and I feel like if that has to be stated, then there have probably been a significant amount of complaints about the quality of work. Never again!*********Pedicures are great, and they are very clean. I do wish that the seating was better for pedicures, I feel like the person next to me is kind of in my personal space since it is basically one big bench.I get gel powder sets and I am less than satisfied. I have gone here for about 4 months and for some reason every time I get a fill one or more of my nails crack on the side. I thought maybe I just need a new set, but that did not help. I have NEVER has this issue in all 8 years of my experience with gel nails. So I will no longer be going there for my nails, maybe pedicures but not gel nails.I have heard a lot of good things about the gel polish manicures, but thats not my thing.

I like coming here but they were arguing I’m front of the customers. Even in their language, you know its an argument by facial expression. I guess it was over money because all I heard was $20.

Just ok. FYI other than wearing masks and plastic barriers between nail techs and client, I didn’t see any special cleaning procedures due to covid. It would have been nice if everyone had to wash hands before service and every thing (vinyl seats included) disinfected after each client. I felt safe enough though.

I have been a frequent customer of this establishment for about 3 months. For mani pedi and eyebrows.The service and the quality of service is amazing. The staff is always polite and friendy and there has never been a wait. I particularly like a specific style of Polish which costs in extra $15 if using the store available brand.The type of Polish I like is mood (color changeing) gel however this establishment does not have a lot of options when it comes to the colors. So during my 1st visit I asked the gentleman which I believe is the manager if he would take some money off of the price of the gel mood Polish if I was to bring my own he said that he would. (I provided the base coat nail color and top coat)So my 3rd time visiting the establishment I brought my own Polish in ..and used it..my nails turned out beautifully, however when it came time to pay the bill I was told that I would not be getting any monies off of my for supplying my own product for work that was done on my nails and my feet.I use mood gel polish which it is an extra $15 to apply the gel to your nails in extra $15 to apply the gel Polish to your feet. $30 in total just for polish.However bringing my own Polish would help me save money but I still was told that I would be charged $30 for bringing and using my own nail Polish which I felt was Not a good For the customer experience and not sticking to their word.As I explained to the gentleman when my Polish is used up I would have to replenish that this is of no cost to the establishment. So I dont mind paying for the service but I did not feel it was conducive to me as a customer to pay for them using my own Polish. Paying for the service was fair so that $20 should be discounted and ill pay $5 each for the extra service of their gel uv light for nails drying .It was not fair that I would still have to pay extra $30 even if Im bringing in my own Polish at the end of the day the attendant was able to take about $13 off which I still feel that that was not conducive to me continue to be a customer. I still supplied a $10 tip to be split between the 2 gentleman that provided the service.The young lady said that she would definitely speak to the owner to make sure that I would get an additional $10 off The feet and $10 off the nails when bringing my own Polish and that I will just pay $5 a piece for the service cause again it is $15 to apply their gel Polish from their establishment but if I bring my own it will be discounted.Side note because my eyebrows didnt turn out as good as they did the previous 2 times..she didnt charge me the $10...I also has a $3 discount card that was applied to my bill so thats where the $13 discount came from...my bill was still $70 and I supplied a $10 tip...I really didnt have the time to debate because I had to head home buti was disappointed with the outcome..I would like to continue to support this establishment so I so hope there will not be an issue in the future with pricing.I hope that this is the case when I return next month for a refill.

Got the best pedicure of my life here. It was an older lady who did my feet but she took her time, was gentle, clearly knew what she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. I also got a gel manicure which lasted for two weeks. I have no complaints and I’m looking forward to this being my new nail shop

Great pedicure! The lady paid great attention to detail as I was way past due for a pedicure and the prices were decent. Basic pedicure was $23! I get jail polish which took my price up to $43, hence my 4 stars! I usually pay a few dollars less for gel but this will be my new nail salon in this area!

When you first walk in you notice the cute set up. But the pedicure basins are extremely dirty and look like they have not been properly cleaned in a while. There were only 3 employees so the wait was long. I asked the woman for a square shaped French pedicure she gave me oval. Overall this place was decent but I won’t be back.

Always the best, most reliable nails and eyebrows in town. No matter who you get you will get quality and a soothing experience!Eyebrows are amazing and I personally recommend Meesha (I apologize as I’m most likely misspelling her name!!) she’s a perfectionist and it shows in her work!Nails whether it be gel regular or acrylic you’ll get a great job done every single time.Prices are good. Only thing I’d like is massage chairs but they have a good set up anyways!

Coming to serenity is a hit or miss. today, i got my nails taken off. the lady proceeded to rip them off rather than use acetone and this caused my finger to hurt so much. before i went in, i called and they said it was $5 to take off the nails. after, the lady charged me $10 . i tried to explain that i was told it would cost $5, she did not listen or understand what i said. so, i just decided to give up & just pay it.

Good quick service and they do a good job. The atmosphere is comfortable for both men and women. Pricing is reasonable.

Tried this place the first time today and the experience is pretty good. I saw many regulars coming here while I was having my nails done and they look pretty comfortable and relaxed being here, its a sign of a good place. Clean and organized. The lady who did my nails today was very careful and gentle with my nails. She took extra time to make sure everything was great. They sanitize their tools and equipment after every use. Reasonable price. I think I will be coming back here for many more times. Pretty much nothing to complain about.

Went in here to get a manicure and to my surprise this salon is very nice. Every inch of this salon is very clean and the staff working here are very friendly. The nail tech working on me did a wonderful job of cutting my nails evenly and removing the cuticles without causing my to bleed. Overall, it was just a wonderful experience. When she was done, I just absolutely love how my nail look now. I will definitely be back for sure!

I came here to get my eyebrows done and I am so happy with the results! They lady did it quick and painless. Very precise with what she does. I find that the work was perfect. I then had gotten a pedicure. Which was relaxing and very soothing. The staff here was friendly and did a great job with customer service. If I can recommend a place I would recommend Serenity Nail Bar they do a great job for such a great Price!

My overall experience was below average. When I walked in, noticed the facility did not look as clean as other nail salons I have visited. The pedicure area had white basins that looked dingy. The chairs where a light beige color, and they had nail polish smudges and other stains on them. The portable dryer that I put my hand into to dry my gel nails had nail polish and smudges on it. The nail tech had earphones in his ears. Most of the time he was talking on the phone or watching a movie on his phone. He did a nice job on my nails, but the aforementioned issues dampened my experience.

I’ve been to this nail salon many times before and had a pleasant experience, but my experience today was not what i had expected from a place i’ve visited so often. It was fairly busy, so there was a small wait, no longer than 10 mins, which i did not mind. i came with my grandmother, and we both sat down together for pedicures. a nail tech started on her almost immediately. the salon was packed so i did not mind waiting a few minutes. another woman comes in and sits beside me. i wait another 15 minutes for a nail tech to finish another customer and start working on my pedicure. (my grandmother is almost halfway done at this point) whenever someone does come over to start a pedicure, they start on the woman beside me (who arrived a good 20 minutes after me) and completely disregard the fact that i have been sitting there so long that my water has become cold. by the time someone else has become available to work on my toes, my grandmother is finished and is already waiting in the waiting area. the nail tech that worked on me did a great job, but due to my foul attitude after the previous events, my experience, overall, was unpleasant. i was not expecting this out of a salon i have visited so many times with no hassle. i understand it is not completely the staff’s fault (it is completely packed) but i would’ve appreciated some type of information as to why my grandmother was 100% finished by the time i was even worked on. 5 star pedicure, 0 star overall experience.

After having a bad experience with another salon in the neighborhood, I was a little hesitant to get acrylic nails again. But I heard all the great reviews for this spot so I thought Id give them a try. and all I can say is, WOW! A lady is my regular guy for acrylic nails. Shes fast, but more importantly, she does an excellent job. Theyre shaped perfectly, every time, and they never seem to pop off like the ones I used to get at another salon. And the others do an excellent job too.The employees here are also very friendly, and I am always made to feel welcome here. Theres never a long wait, and the price is right.

On last Wed morning which was May 17, 2017 I always go get my hair done then my nail. I always get the pink and white the guy that serves me suggest that I do the dip which was the white dipping powder.then to top it off it only last for about 3 days my nail look a mess my nail has never look like this and then he charge me 42.00 I ask him when did price go up I told him I had been come to this place for very long time. My sister Salon is next door now one thing about her Salon if you are not satisfied they will take care of you to make you happy. The owner has always done a great job on my nail she has never ever told me try something new this guy that serves me did want to take the time to take care of my needs I guess I will have to find me a New nail salon to go to things like this hurt your business I dont have money to losses like this.Your truly,Millicent

This is a nice and fancy salon ive ever been to. The interior is clean, organized and very well designed that gives me a relaxing mind every time i visit here.The staffs here are very skillful and professional. The lady that took care of me was very patient, she takes step by step to make sure everything look great during the process. Their works always last long since they use high quality product for a great price. I highly recommend this nail salon to anyone!!!

They did okay work on the nails.... Other than the fact that several of my fingers are sore today around the cuticle and fingernail area. However, having the pole dancing show on the TV was completely inappropriate and the fact that it took 2 hours to get a Mani, pedi and fill in was insane. Not really sure I can recommend this place.

I dislike giving poor reviews but I must say I won’t be returning to Serenity Nail. There is no use in scheduling an appointment as you will be sitting for over an hour with your feet in cold water before they begin. Staff, with the exception of one lady, were not going out of their way to be friendly. The bowl that my friend was sitting in drained out of water while we were waiting and they didn’t come fix it for 20 minutes so she sat there with her feet in an empty bowl. I had been to serenity before and had a very positive experience. But this time, there were toenail clippings scattered around and very poor customer service.

So very very rude!!! The tech was doing to wrong pedicure I tried explaining to all and they just looked and continued. Will NEVER visit again

I like the gel color I got a lot! Lasted for a long time and the color looks vibrant! I like how staff here was so nice and talented as well! My nails look amazing! Staff here was incredible! Cant wait to come back

I would not recommend this nails salon to anyone that I know. I got my nails done 2 weeks ago with gel nail polish and it was a bad situation all the way around the board. They had a young lady service my nails whom certainly was practicing on me then when I told them that it was unacceptable they surely showed any compassion as I spent well over 100.00 in their salon. Then I decided to give them one more opportunity and ask for someone to do my nails that had more experience, so I return on Friday. Not mention, my bank card was charged twice . However, to my surprise my nails are chipping already and honestly my nails do not look top notch. Their work is just barely average. On top of it all, I tried to call this morning to tell them that I needed my nails fixed due to their lack of service and I couldnt speak to anyone that could effectively communicate with me . No offense because I understand language barriers however if you are running a business - I expect at the very least to be able to call and effectively communicate with the individual.

This nail spa had my nails looking absolutely gorgeous. The prices was not exactly expensive compared to other places l had used in the past. I totally loved my nails each time I come here.

My first and last visit today. I believe I had the same guy as a couple of other girls who wrote reviews. I had a bad feeling when he did not stop playing a game on his tablet (Pokemon, I think) when I sat down. Since he has never done my nails before and I thought I would tell him what I like. I was getting a gel French manicure for $35 and thats a lot of $. He did not clean under my nails, took forever to take off old gel polish, did not use a cuticle treatment while soaking my nails and the white tips he polished 1/2 of my nail. If I had time tomorrow I would go back and have this taken off. He was rude every time I spoke to him. He acted pissed if I said what I prefer. I wish I had left after he took the old polish off. Aweful experience.

Being new to the area, So i gave them a try for the first time about five months ago and they were fine. About 2 months ago the staff completely changed. I went in and asked for the guy who would usually do my nails and was told he was no longer there. So, now there are only three workers in the shop. My nails were cracking after the 2nd or 3rd day and they would redo them. But, the last few times I arrived around 6:30 and was told they were busy and would have to come back another day...which was strange since they close at 8pm during the week. Customer service is awful and Ive tried giving them several chances after poor service. Never again and they really should close, since they cant service customers properly!

This place is great! Had a gel pedicure and am so happy with it. The gel looked so beautiful and my cuticles were trimmed perfectly. Thumbs up!

The price for a basic mani and pedi is never the same; they sneak extras in on the ticket without saying anything before providing that extra service. Yesterday my technician cut the cuticles on two fingers that caused bleeding. Ill find a new salon.

Walked in sat down to wait and took a look around. Did not look clean and had already been waiting longer than was told so decided to leave. Maybe they deserve a second chance but it won’t be from me!

I brought a picture in of nail art i found on Pinterest, and they turned out exactly the way i was hoped! Cant remember the young girls name, but she was wonderful extremely friendly and patient my pretty tedious design request. Not a single doubt about coming back here :)

They dont hold their word for paying for services rendered I heard after a bad run in with the owner when they refused to sign the contract allowing us to do the work the requested to be done. We drove from Marietta to Douglasville upon a text and verbal agreement but when asking to sign to start work agreeing upon price, etc they became hostile. We politely left and received threatening text messages afterwards. I get pedicures about once a month myself and I would never go to this place for a pedicure or to do any work. No wonder why their rating is so low. We maintain an A+ with BBB and 4.7 everywhere else. It would be a 5 star except one customer couldnt understand a two hour window of arrival doesnt mean wed show up at 9 and leave at 11.

They do good work

Awesome gel manicure that was still unchipped after more than 2 weeks. Huge selection of gel colors. Most importantly, they accommodated me as walk in on my lunch hour and had me in and out within 45 minutes. Staff was very friendly and salon was clean and inviting.

When I first walked in I thought everything looked very nice and modern. I met the girl who was going to do my pedicure. Her name was Nissa and she was very nice. We had a good conversation while she did my pedicure. She also did my manicure, and I was happy with how they both turned out. My mom on the other hand, hand a guy named Kenny. He did a great job with her pedicure, but when it came time for her manicure, he got her set up with her fingers soaking, and then he disappeared into the back. Meanwhile Nissa has already started clipping my nails and taking care of my cuticles. Kenny then comes back with a Coke can and said he needed to get something to drink. Now I wouldnt have minded, and Im sure my mom wouldnt have minded, if he had just gone into the back grabbed a Coke and come right back, but he was gone for a considerable amount of time. He then gets started on her manicure, get all the way up to the point where he is about to start painting her nail polish on, and then he gets a phone call. One of the ladies that looked like a manager (everyone else was wearing white shirts, she had a black and white dress shirt), came to take over my moms manicure. By this point, Nissa is complete done with my nails, and Im going to the dryers. The lady that sat down to do my moms nail polish only did one coat. Now I could understand if it was a thick nail polish, but my moms color was very light. Nissa did two coats of nail polish on my nails before putting the top coat on. Ive never been to a nail salon had them only do one coat of nail polish. The lady that took over for the guy doing my moms nails, seemed rushed because of other people waiting, and she just hurriedly did one coat, and then put the top coat on.On top of that, both me and my moms hands seemed way more dry and rough after our manicure. I got the mani and pedi yesterday, and my hands have been driving me crazy all day with how dry they are. No amount of lotion seems to be helping.Really, the only reason Im giving it a 3 star is because of Nissa. I really appreciated how easy to talk to and friendly she was, and my nails do look good. Me and my mom just have no idea why they are so dry. Its never happened to us after a manicure before.Anyways. I dont really recommend this place. On top of everything Ive already mentioned, its over priced.

The powder gel is to die for at Serenity Nails and Bar. The tech did an amazing job with shaping and a clean polish. I love the technique she was very skilled. Highly recommend.

Love this place and the fact that everyone was so polite and made sure you were comfortable and having a good expierence.
