Good customer service, and clean store. Some Big Lots stores are in not the best areas and a little dirty, but this one is in a good area and has a bright/clean atmosphere. We purchased an electric fireplace here and the service was good. They helped load it, and gave us a discount since it was a floor model with some surface dings. This location also has a big furniture department.

This store has the most respectful and pleasant staff. Jeff and Rich were able to turn our entire home moving experience into something more than we ever hoped for. We recommend everyone and anyone to this Dover location to buy furniture with Jeff and Rich.

One of the sest Big Lots in the area. Store is well maintained and clean and staff very helpful. Always a great place for deals on unique foods and items. I definitely go several times every season as they are always changing stock to match seasonal events.

Big Lots is surprisingly very convenient. They have all the essential items you will need from food to supplies. Especially your essential office supplies like coffee and filters for your coffee machine! The staff has always been really calm and friendly. You can quickly get in find what youre looking for and get out. Yeah... its a convenient store. I guess that is why they call it that.

Nice place to get some items for less, some things are really over priced, or simply dont have a price on them. They recently moved the aisles closer together which is very frustrating since often times carts or stocking ladders are left in them making them impossible to navigate, especially if there are two people going in opposite directions. I assume the change was made to make them one way lanes for social distancing, but in practice its not working that way at all.

Big Lots is great. They give away face mask this weekend. Im glad because I dont know how long I will be needing them.Big Lots is the store that has a lot of things you cant find in other stores or the pricing is to high. Big Lots is what I call my back up store.

You can find some great bargains here at Big Lots. Food, Drinks, Canned goods, makeup, paper products, bath and kitchen essentials and more. Sign up for their reward program and they will send you a very nice coupon ever now and then. Store is clean and folks there seem efficient and nice.

The staff at this location greets you with a smile when you enter the store. They ask if they can assist you with anything. We visit this location 30 minutes before closing on Thanksgiving Day. I dont know if the cashiers where distracted by this fact but they werent as friendly and need customer service training. Overall, I would come back to this location.

I love this Big Lots here in Dover! I love the friendly employees, the cleanliness of the store,etc. This has been my favorite place to go to besides the mall.

The girl at the front cash register tonight was soliciting tips due to not having bags ..she made a comment when we were walking away. I will never stop there again.

I came in on a Wednesday and attempted to purchase a desk. There was only a floor model available and Told that they could not sale at that time and to come in on Friday a little after noon to see if they have more and if not that I could purchase a floor model. I arrived at 12:30, waited and had to request to be assisted in the furniture department to be blue be told by the sales person who instructed me to come at alter date that she sold the furniture. She also informed after the item was sold that she could not hold the item for me because people often do not come and collect the item. When speaking to the manager there was no attempt to rectify the error on their part. They did not even check to see if another stole has the desk so that I could purchase it from another location. There was no care on their customer service. And there was a complete disregard for my customer experience.

I could not believe how clean this Big Lots was. They didnt have exactly what I wanted but found something similar though a bit pricey. Paying $7 for a pastry blender was not on my good list but at least I now have one again and anyone that cooks from scratch knows how important one of these items are worth. Still I would have been happy with a cheaper model.

Not thrilled with my last visit. They had a sale on chips mix and match for $2.00 each. Must buy 3. Out of the 3 I grabbed. Only 1 was on sale. Cashier says go finds 2 more. Told her NOPE. Cancel the whole transaction. Not my job to figure out which ones were which seeing as they were all on the same rack. Walked out with out buying 1 thing.Hate when a store tried to trick you into spending more then is listed.

I use to shop here regularly, but as of last year I have stopped. They are always out of products so whoever is responsible for scheduling shipments is not the best at doing so. Also, the managers follow and have the associates follow minorities around and for some reason they think customers do not notice...they do. There is also an associate there and her husband is a problem. No, he does not work there but management allows him to stay around while she works her shift (it is really odd) and he follows customers around, too. Looks a domestic violence/stalking issue to me. Anywho, he has caused several issues with customers, too. If they keep the same management team, the store is not going to last.A word of advice to the store manager. Stop following customers...it is obvious and ridiculous and you are a part of the problem too...I have witnessed you following customers. Stop allowing family members of your team to hang around...it is unprofessional and really causes an uncomfortable experience for shoppers because he is extremely uncomfortable to be around. Step back and look at your management team and make some immediate changes. I am sure it will make a huge difference in your employee and customer retention rates, especially if you want the store to last beyond 10 years.

Big Lots is great to shop. The cashiers are courteous and offers great shopping experience. I also love the wide variety of snacks which are different than most places carry.

Convenient is why I shop here. Prices and selection are pretty on par with other businesses like them. Nothing special but I do stop in a few times a month

The aisles are very roomy and there are signs describing the contents of the aisles. It is very easy to maneuver around the store and find everything you need.

Absolute worst customer service from a Big Lots store. All 3 associates showed zero customer service. I could deal with the long wait in line. I was patient. Until a new cashier opened another register and took the folks at the end of the line who had just walked up rather than me who had been waiting next in line for 15 minutes. That cashier, the cashier who was struggling to ring up the person ahead of me, and the manager did not care, with no apology. I left without giving them my $250 sale.

I was trying to help a buddy and so he already paid for his merchandise so I had a coupon for 15 per cent off.But the gentlmens was reluctant to help us out.So they did not go out of there way to help.Just a thought here.
