Friendly staff and super organized store

Every time I leave the store I feel frustrated and crabby- which is a rarity for me. It is dirty, small and has many empty shelves. Hobby lobby on Ogden is so much better. I am a long time Michael’s customer so I come back once or twice a year in hopes it will be better-Only to be let down.

You can usually find a knowledgeable and friendly sales person for help. The custom framing team in the back is always helpful. They also have a nice selection of ready made frames even though they are a smaller Michaels store.Store always seems tidy and organized. Great place to go for seasonal decorations as well. Can not think of anything that they do not have-craft wise. Many many items and things to do in the kids section. Nice prices to start with and good sales. Great coupons but even better ones if you sign up for emails. Go and get your craft on!

I ordered some supplies yesterday for in-store pick up and was pleasantly surprised. The girl on the front desk (I wish I had caught her name) was so friendly and sweet. I asked for some sewing machines and whether or not they even carry any, and she kindly pointed me in their direction. Very knowledgeable staff and quick checkout too. The store is stacked nice and neat and tire able to find exactly what you’re looking for.

This was the farthest but Still didnt have different color box frames.. I needed walnut they only had BLACK. JUST WOULDNT DO.. WHAT I WAS DISPLAYING NEEDED SOFTER COLORS. LIKE WALNUT..O WELL I MUST RETURN TO THE FIRST STORE AND BUY THE LIGHTER COLOR EVEN THO IT IS NOT WHAT I WANT BUT IT IS CLOSIER TO THE WALNUT I WAS LOOKING FOR..

The staff in the store are very helpful and attentive. They offer help without asking. Also the on sale items are in good quality and new (i was looking at scrapbook paper pads). Usually, on sale items looks a bit old or damanged, but here, this is not an issue.The number choices of paper products and ribbons are really amazing.

What is there not to love 😍 they have so many things I want to purchase and the workers are friendly. I believe the only problem I noticed is there were 2 registers but only one light was on so we all thought only one this is not the first time this is the 3rd time.

The workers are super nice and friendly so customer service is great. The only problem I have is that obviously the next holiday coming up would mean that a lot of the things associated with it, would be in demand but the shelves shouldnt be completely empty. I was in the baking section and a lot of the section was empty. I went in the ribbon section and a lot of the cute red ribbon was gone(Valentines Day is coming up so the reds were scarce). So they need to make sure their shelves are always stocked. If not, customers will go somewhere else.

Small but it had everything that I needed. The staff was pleasant and available to answer any questions I had, plus they have great sales!

Beth in the yarn department is amazing and super helpful! When they ran out of the color I was needing, she looked and called different stores to get me what I needed. Great customer service!

Just needed some mirror like tape and it was much less expensive here than what we found online.

Staff are very friendly and happy to answer any questions I have. Some items they have a limited selection in and other times they have items I cant find at other craft stores. Just depends on if youre looking for something specific or not.

ZERO STARS. Do NOT buy a gift card here. Worst customer service experience Ive ever had. I bought a gift card for my niece at the store that didnt work. When I went back they told me gift card issues couldnt only be handled by calling in on their 800 number but then when I called in they said they couldnt help me either. I provided proof of purchase, gift card number, everything, but couldnt get a refund. Never going back.

People in the framing department were exceptional.

Lombard location has limited variety and quantity of quality, relevant products in comparison to locations in the northern suburbs. Wouldnt take a trip just to go there.

Never knew this was the arts and crafts super store. They have everything a person could need . Me and my wife bought our Christmas tree from here and it looks great in the living room. They have 40% off on Christmas items right now

Lauren and Elliot were a HUGE help on a busy Saturday. Pretty great selection of art products....

I usually shop at the Bloomingdale location, but they havent had the white watercolor paint I need so I tried this location. Their watercolor section is TINY here, but I found what I needed! HUGE shout out to Kiana (I may have the spelling wrong). I never expected to find someone so well versed in the materials in paint/ink! I will be back to get her guidance in calligraphy supplies as well!

Unfortunately I cannot give this store a 5 star review due to the experience of using there bathroom. I came in on a Saturday so I understand they are very busy but no excuse not to be stocked on hand soap. Especially during the Pandemic. They did have hand sanitizer but no hand wash soap. The bathroom was not very clean either. Very disappointing. I had to walk down the plaza to Bed bath and Beyond to wash my hands properly. The sanitizer alone was not going to cut it for me.

Michaels has anything you can think of regarding arts&crafts supplies. For someone like me that loves baking cakes, this is your go to place for anything needed.

I only shopped here recently for my daughters birthday party but I will be back for Halloween. Lots of great stuff for arts and craft project. Love the order online and pick up in store option. Good coupons as well!

Im an Artist, and as an Artist, I actually dont find everything that I need in this store. So, I figured out something, that it depends on how novice or expert you are. For beginners and kids, Michaels is good, but as an artist, any type of artist, youll find hobby lobby and maybe blicks are much better and will suit you more.

Minecraft have very good selectiojn the very best store for purchasing ((miscellaneous)) for art and craft, if i was a nerd and did art projects i would come here all the time but i am a cool guy and would rather play fortnite cuz im a gamer haha gamers are way cool no offense art nerds

My wife loves this place and would probably live here if we didnt have kids, for me though I have never had a bad experience even though I am allergic to crafting stores. Also the staff (Gaby and I forget the other ladys name) was great in helping me measure out a frame for my Joker poster. Also the 80% on custom framing is a crazy deal.

Very tidy + organized items. Helpful dedicated staff. So many creative options. Put down your electronic devices and share quality time making keepsake art.

Huge fan of Michaels, my go-to craft store

Fantastic prices on everything but custom frames. Out of their mind there, proper frame shops that have similar of slightly better prices that I would trust my prints with. This weeks visit left me unimpressed with the current staff. Cashier was super nice but nobody else really wanted to work. Picking up an online order seemed confusing for them. Third person got my order for me...so dont give up on them.

Needs to keep stock on the racks/shelves.

This store was smaller than I expected. Had plenty of craft items but fewer home decorating items.

This is a newer Michaels and the store is clean and bright. The parking lot is huge and always has spaces. Things are easy to find and I can usually find an employee if I need one. Prices are very reasonable and they have a wide range of products for every craft you could think of.

Went in on Thanksgiving/Black Friday and everyone was so helpful and friendly even though it was late and Im sure the employees were exhausted. Definitely my new favorite craft store for the great customer service!

I dont do a lot of crafting. But when I do need something, this is where I come to first.

Not my normal Michaels store or I wouldve given it 5 stars...was a little harder to find the stuff I was looking for, and was a little pricey than the other ones Ive been too...besides that, it was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful.

I just used the restroom. Bathroom was clean but the automatic lights turned off on me. Good thing Im not afraid of the dark

I get all of my professional framing done here. The framing staff are friendly & knowledgeable. They are as excited about my framing projects as I am. The quality is excellent.

I love Michaels! Perfect for everything I want to do. The employees at this location in particular were so nice and patient and even explained which coupons I could stack. It was nice to have employees who cared help me out!

This store has a great variety of items for all types of crafts. It carries books and magazines on everything from cooking to sewing. The staff is service oriented. They gave me a coupon on my first visit to the store. The stores prices are good and once you give them your e-mail address you will receive discount offers. Moreover, local papers contain weekly discount coupons.

As much as I love to shop here just so disappointed I purchase a lot of items and I have a 50 & 40% off coupon and was told I could only use one. REALLY! what a joke!

I just went in there for candles on sale, they had some jar candles 3 for $9.99. I was looking around the store & they still have crafts & things for your particular hobby items. They have handicapped parking, employees walking around to see if you need help

You can always find a coupon and there are supplies for every hobby and artistic endeavor.4/5 because this location is a little small and only caries the basics (or bare essentials) for fabric and thread based hobbies (knitting, sewing, needle point, etc) which happens to be what Im usually in the market for.

Absolutely ridiculous. Stuff pilled at 6 ft or higher. NO HELP EVEN WHEN YELLING HELP IN THE STORE. Customer could be laying in an aisle bleeding and no one would know. Not at all disable friendly. Too busy at corp to sell and little care for people. I really laughed with their designation as a great place to work because it isnt.

I love how much I save with the discount card. I just have to enter my phone number, no physical card to carry. I once saved $14 in one visit! They rarely dont have what I need, and always have great deals/sales!

The store that helps you unleash your creativity. Went there today to have a special cloth framed. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Today was the last day for 70% framing supplies.

Decently stocked. Not the worst prices. The only thing is that its very difficult to navigate.

Robin and Meredith were SUPER helpful and patient while I looked for the right markers. They both gave me useful advice for my project :) Knowledgeable and kind staff!

Lines super long, worse experience last week was in line it was 2 lines open one lady was doing a return and it was another girl who was ringing up a employee who looked like her shift was over....they took forever carrying on laughing she bought 4 candles and it literally took 10 mins. Then they argue with you about the coupons...I buy 2 items use a 40% off coupon yet they put it on the $1.99 item vs the $29.99 item. Never again will I shop inside this store ill stick with buy online pick up in store but then that was a joke as well they cancelled one of my orders saying they didnt have the item yet I came in store same day and found it! Nice staff but the young employees ruin it

Ive been looking FOREVER for a particular turkey platter like my moms... And I found my turkey platter for Thanksgiving!! And I used a 40% off coupon from Retail me not app!! Im very content!!!

Robin took the time to help me find what I needed and then we discussed varies options for some tape I was looking for. Will definitely be back to this Michaels over the new one in Bolingbrook.

Went in looking for picture mattes, they have a great selection and the price wasnt to bad.

The employees are very nice. Both times Ive been there, the chashiers have given me a different discount when the coupons I had werent eligible, expired, etc.

Great craft store. It would be great if they had wipes to clean handles on the shopping carts.

Good selection of crafts and crafting supplies. You should call ahead if youre looking for something specific. Never buy anything without a coupon. Literally just Google Michaels coupons.

Like this store very very much. Its always clean and the staff is very friendly. They have much in stock and much of old stuff that comes in handy even when its not in season. The Clarence is in the back that way not everyone is staring at you when looking thru it.
