The guys at Downer’s Grove Auto Rebuilders are hands down some of the best mechanics around. I cannot say it enough, DGAR knows what they’re doing and they won’t beat around the bush with you either. I HIGHLY recommend going for any auto body repairs, I do recommend making an appointment though as they tend to be fairly busy.

A deer hit our car and caused some damage to our car. When filing a claim with State Farm, I saw that Downers Grove Auto Rebuilders was one of the shops I could choose and wanted to give them a shot. When I brought the car in for an estimate, I could tell they were very professional and thorough. I knew I could entrust them to get our car back to the way it was. They made the process so seamless and easy and the work came out great. I would definitely use them in the future for any repair needs!

Would have given hire rating. Originally happy with work. Then needed to return for a warranty issue. One manager was very cranky and was not pleased I came back. He ended up being friendlier when husband picked up. He explained its was actually covered under his third party service provider. I would have appreciated an apology for original behavior. Overall work was done and I hope well but not with a smile.

Very professional and courteous team, Mike was great! Handled claim seamlessly, had my Jeep done earlier than expected, which I greatly appreciated. Did have to bring it back for replacement of defects on moldings, but it was handled without question and done just as timely. Would definitely recommend!

Went in for a simple fix of my bumper. The staff greeted us immediately and were extremely kind and helpful. It was a quick fix we were estimated 15 mins and it took about 10. The car was brought back out to us looking perfect! Extremely impressed with their professionalism and guest service! Definitely will be getting any work need on my car done here! I scraped my rear quarter panel and door on the garage. Tried removing the transferred garage paint with a clay bar, which didnt come off. I assumed it was deep scratches that needed to be fixed and painted. Went to DG Auto Rebuilders for an estimate for paint. Upon review, he indicated new paint was not needed, and then took solvent and removed garage paint that only looked like deep scratches. He didnt charge me! Really appreciate the professionalism, honesty and help!

Took my 4runner in for a simple rear bumper repair. I actually took my own front bumper in. in which I explicitly stated to just paint it leave the original bumper just put it in the back seat Its an SUV. nothing was wrong with the front bumper I was was going to do some modification with thats why. so they did the opposite of what was told and the job they did was pathetic, unprofessional did even fit on correctly the seems. They even tried glue the seams, i would strongly suggest an other facility, never go by some ones word.or other pathetic workmanship i would be embarrassed. no pride!!

I cannot say enough about how fantastic this shop is. I had called ahead to explain the minor work I needed done and Mike asked me to pop in just to take a look. What I thought was going to be a few day process, Mike managed to make it happen in under 15 minutes. Great shop, great staff!!!

My 2017 Renegade was rear ended, so I took it to Downers Grove Auto Rebuilders. I got my vehicle back quicker than originally quoted and it looks great. Would definitely recommend them.

Been to this place 2 times so far. Great experiences both times. Both times they finished quicker then they originally estimated.

Really disappointed in the customer service. My insurance towed my car to the facility due to an accident. I get a phone call on the following Monday saying that they are too busy to even look at my car for another 2-3 weeks. He mentions that they dropped off my car BUT according to my insurance company and the towing service, he REFUSED my car. Do not waste my time saying that you have my car, wont work on it for 3 weeks when you refused it in the first place. Caused a huge delay in processing my car and a waste of my time. It is always good to be honest with your customers but acting like I am not worth your time is poor customer service and sending me on a goose chase for my car is just stupidity on your part.

Very nice. Friendly. I came here in February, some idiot hit my car while it was parked on the street. I went to a few repair shops in the Bolingbrook/Romeoville area and all quoted me 1200-1600 to fix. I was only quoted 400 here and only paid 400. They did a great job.

The guys here are super professional and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

These guys are really great.. my 2008 Jeep Liberty had front end damage from traing my granddaughter how to drive, no injuries only the vehicle. The vehicle was damaged 9/12/12..both air bags deployed .. they got high praise from my insurance adjuster (GEICO) and the repair was conducted very professionally, the front end repairs blended seamlessly with the current body contours and color. Thanks DGAR !!
