221 Creations is such a great shop to have in downtown Downers Grove. I can always find great gift ideas and the staff is super friendly and can find just about and gift item you need.

Mary Kay has been a lifesaver throughout our wedding planning process for the wedding. She has given us so many helpful ideas to help make our wedding invitations work without having to buy an entirely new suite for us needing to postpone the wedding to next year. She was even able to create a new invitation last minute when I reached out to her about 2 weeks before our wedding with our new ceremony and reception details so we could at least have those as a keepsake. You can tell that she genuinely loves what she does, and she cares about the people she is making invitations for. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone. Our save the dates are so beautiful when I saw them for the first time I choked up! They made my vision a reality. I would never ever use another company for paper needs. This is the ONLY place I trust for all my paper needs. I have used 221 for service menus for my independent hairstyling business and for my save the dates and wedding invitations. Mary Kay and the team at 221 not only are the most professional to work with but also develop a personal relationship with their clients resulting in the most beautiful of creations. First and foremost, Mary Kay (MK) is the absolute best!If I could give her 100 stars, I absolutely would!My sister and I walked into 221 Creations on Monday, August 6, 2018 with worry in our eyes. My wedding is Saturday, October 6, 2018 and we knew we had to get these invitations out as quickly as possible.Mary Kay sat and gave us all the time we needed. My sister and I looked in the invitation book and we figured wed have to pass on my favorite option because the paper only came in ecru. MK called the printer to get the invitation paper in white. She made it happen! We ordered the addresses to be printed on the invitation envelopes and she was an immense help with the invitation wording etiquette.The invitation company suggested four glue dots to paste the invitation on the backing but Mary Kay suggested that a different form of tape would be easier to apply and it would be more durable. She could have easily ordered those dots but she knew it would be a pain to do which we really appreciated when it came to assembling the invitations.Once we had decided on the invitations and text, she submitted the order to the printer and told us she would follow up with a proof via email the next day. As promised, we received the proof email and once we responded with our approval, she instantly submitted the order to print.We had the invitations in hand yesterday, Thursday, August 16 at 1:30pm. She communicated with us from the moment we walked into the shop until we had the invitations in hand. I cant stress how pleasant MK made the invitations process for us!Mary Kay went above and beyond to make sure that my sister and I were beyond happy with every detail.Mary Kay is patient, kind, funny, courteous and understanding. She did not try to up sell us or con us into buying anything we did not need. It is evident that Mary Kay has her customers best interests in mind.Planning a wedding is stressful, but I know that anything I ask of MK will be done correctly and efficiently! It is a joy to work with her! Go and see her for everything wedding and beyond.Im not going to stop here, we plan to order our wedding ceremony programs, wedding menu cards, place cards, bridesmaids & groomsmens gifts etc. from MK.Mary Kay, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

221 creations is a great shop right in Downers Grove to check out! They have unique gifts for all occasions plus the cutest holiday decor for all seasons. Not only is it a great store with friendly employees, they also specialize in wedding save the dates, invitations, etc. Such an easy and fun experience designing my save the dates and invitations.

I LOVE 221 Creations! Me and my husband purchased our wedding invitations, place cards and bridal party gifts from 221 and couldnt have been happier with the quality, price or service provided. A wedding can be very stressful to plan, the one thing I knew I never had to stress about was my invites; Beth and Mary Kay would contact me often for updates regarding my order and would always have my orders ready in a timely fashion. Not only were the invites PERFECT and customizable, they are a great price, just like everything else in the store. I would often walk in the store for one thing and walk out with at least 1-2 additional new purchases. They have everything wedding, and if you think they dont have it youre probably wrong, just ask!! They will help you find the perfect piece for whatever you are working on. I couldnt stress more the incredible experience I had with 221. Beth, Mary Kay and all their employees are accosting, professional and great people to talk with! They made my wedding experience so wonderful!

I love 221 Creations gift shop in Downers Grove. Very cute Christmas items in the stores. I could buy everything. My husband & I bought a really cute light up Christmas fabric print. Very reasonable.

I went to Mary Kay for all of my wedding day stationary needs- invites, RSVPs, breakfast invites, placecards, table numbers, favor signs and ceremony programs. Mary Kay created a design that was incorporated through all stationary components needed. She truly created a beautiful and elegant invitation, which set the tone for our wedding from the moment our guests opened our invite.
