This WalMart supermarket is beside Highway 210 and the traffic is very convenient. The background music of this store is very good, which is one of the reasons I like to come. Like all Wal-Marts, everything is comprehensive and the price is very affordable. I often come here to buy clothes. Especially in the current season when autumn and winter alternate, thick winter clothes are displayed. The quality of winter clothes is good and the price is very cheap.

This is the most frequently visited Wal Mart by our family, because it is very close to home, the transportation is very convenient and there are plenty of parking spaces. The store has a large area, bright lights and a good environment. In particular, the service staff have a very friendly working attitude. When I encounter goods I cant find, they will personally take me to the location of the goods and help me explain the basic use. There is also a McDonalds in front of the Wal Mart, where it is convenient to eat and buy coffee. I like the combination of fast food restaurants and supermarkets.

Most times this location in Duarte only has two registers open at a time but other than that negative the customer service is pretty good there an the employees are helpful.

This is not a supercenter. There is a good selection of items big and small. There is a money gram, garden center and pharmacy too. You can pick up online orders here if you didnt have them sent to you. Often there are more carts in the parking lot than in the store for you to use. Also tamales and street corn are sold in the parking lot.

We would like to give a shout out to Vivian the manager at our local Duarte Walmart! She went the extra mile to hunt down a special Christmas tree at the Covina Walmart and stayed on the phone while that store service person (Maria) confirmed and held it for us to pick up. Thank you so much!

Im been here waiting for the help.I told him I need help and theyre dont care.Customer Services the same thing make wait for a long time, to tell me come back tomorrow, because the woman dont know how add funds to a card.In the other side of the country, Wal-Mart is one of my favorites stores, but around here theyre dont have a lot stores and the closest I have it, theyre not have the personal capacity for help.

Worst Walmart ever nothing is where it should be at at the customer service are very rude. I was buying a fishing rod at the sports section and I walked up to the cashier at the sporting section and he was takings his time talking to a customer for 10 minutes and he see me there waiting all the time and ask how many I help you. I said I want to buy this rod here he tells me he cant help me and sends me to the cashiers to the front of the store

No issues during my last visit. Outside is well kept, aside from other customers leaving shopping carts. No issues during actual shopping, quick and easy.

I have always purchased canned white Albacore tuna I opened two cans it wasnt fresh looking at all Now I dont if I want to purchase anymore the price on them had gone down from $5 to $3and change I cant find my receipt I have 4 cans left

I was sold an empty box of headphones for $350 (carrying case present, headphones gone). Tech doesn’t let you hold the box before buying so I had no reference on if the box was heavy or not. Tried to exchange/return, and Was almost told I couldn’t get any money back but stayed for 1.5 hours and eventually got an exchange. Two days later, I found a better deal on the same headphones. Tried to return the exchange but apparently couldn’t return an exchange even though the first box was completely empty and it wasn’t my fault that I was sold an empty box. Tried to get price matching and could not get price matching. I originally came to Walmart thinking I could get a good deal and a low price on headphones but got low quality experiences instead. It wasn’t even worth it because I had to drive relatively far for headphones that were still missing the charging cable in the exchange box. Each customer service interaction was just stressful and left me disappointed each time. Great deals? More like great deal of pain.

On my was home, I stopped at Walmart around 9:45 pm to use the bathroom and buy some hot food. The bathrooms needed attention that why it us not 5 stars. Paper trash was overflowing. No photos.Blessings, John

Today friday August 06 around 3:00 p.m. I was trying to resolve an issue with a product that I bought, the girl and boy were trying to help me....the boy told me I am going to call my supervisor to help you with this...I was waiting for more than 25 minutes and the supervisor never appeared. If you want to have satisfied customers please pay attention to this situation

This Walmart is very old and is actually considered the ghetto Walmart I hate to say that but they are always low on everything

You learn to shop this store, which means, dont expect much assistance from employees on the sales floor. Youll get plenty of exercise going up and down the aisles helping yourself. Customer service is scarce because they would rather share stories with fellow employees or vendors than to assist you. You shop here because of pricing and variety of needs for the family.

Nice and courteous employees. I saw one female employee at the door checking receipt and this lady with kids had such a rude attitude towards the employee. Come on people, every one deserves respect.

The store was moderately busy, but they only had 2 of the 7 or 8 check outs open. One of the 2 cashiers walked away from ringing up customers for about 5 minutes and returned. After ringing up 1 of 5 or 6 customers that were in line, the cashier walked away again and didnt return. After waiting about 5 minutes we had to walk and find a supervisor who reluctantly got someone to take the cashiers after she stared at dumbfounded for several seconds. There were about 3 other employees in thr general area who witnessed the cashier walk away and did nothing but stand around and chat with each other. It was a horrible event.

You should go somewhere else. Their Returns department closes at 8:00 p.m. even though the store is open until 11:00 p.m. Why?Its super inconvenient. No other store that I know of does this. (For example, at Target anytime the store is open, you can return something.)And this is not mentioned on the Walmart website. And if you try to call them, they did not answer their phones. I know Walmarts not known for the customer service, but it really makes me not want to shop there.

Does it make sense to refuse service for not wearing a mask AND at the same time refuse sale of disposable masks?I understand Los Angeles has a district map mandate. They didnt have any at the site for those without masks to hand out. That is normally hit or miss depending on location.Worse, they wouldnt let me purchase a mask to abide by the policy.They seem to have more employees to stop people at the door than at the registers.

This particular Walmart is always well stocked, clean and organized. Not too many weird people, who seem to wonder in as in other similar stores.

Early morning fill in trip and at 8am they had everything I needed at great prices. In and out in under 10 minutes, $99.50 which would have cost me about $114.00 at Target.

Its been a long time since I enjoyed Walmart shopping trip, me and my daughter found everything we were looking for and all the shelfs were full, customer service was great also 👍 Employees should be proud of themselves, keep up the great job!

Horn Lakes city ordinance says, Beer sales for off premises consumption is permitted between the hours of 7am and 12am.Walmarts website for this location says alcohol sales are from 7am to 12 am.Yet several times I have been confonted by what appear to be supervisory cashiers telling me I can not buy alcohol. The most recent incident occurred a couple weeks ago. The supervisor/cashier seemed to lose her mind. She exclaimed as she snatched the beer out of my cart,You cannot buy alcohol until 1:00!!??? I dont even know what to say to such ignorance. Is she misinformed? Is she a prohibitioner from the 1920s? Is she a religious nut making up her own rules instead of following Walmarts company policies?Why cant you comment on the other reviews? There is a review on here that says this location has a garden center. Haha. This is a small Walmart neighborhood market. The only garden center it has is in the vacant lot next to it. :-)))))))!!!!

I was quite surprised today! I stopped by at Walmarts busiest time. I walked in, pushed customer assistance button; staff member showed-up, handed me the item I needed, charged me... And I walked out! I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Very impressed! So I bumped up Walmart (Duarte) rating one ⭐ If this excellent customer service continues... She is truly an awesome Cashier with SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not only did she show us how to use the self check out machine, she also remained with us till the transaction was complete. Duarte is on the foot of majestic The San Gabriel Mountains. We parked and as we walked in, an employee greeted us. I mentioned, This Walmart is HUGE! Yes said the employee, but its noithing compared top the Walmart Super Center we have here. You gotta see this store. its huge!

Made an online order early in the AM, went in at 8PM, they still had not even proccess it, so frustrsting, there was nobody at the pick up section, other associates walking around had no clue of location of items, nobody in charge. Target store has orders ready within 2 hours, I guess I should shop there better.

Poor shelves.. no stock or available for groceries mostly.. disappointing

Dirty refrigerator section.bought 3 pack of underwear and got home and there were only 2. Went to buy Callaway golf balls for 34.95 and looked in the box and there were TaylorMade golf balls that were selling for 11.95what a rip off!!! Compared to other Wal Marts the Monrovia store is like walking into a Trash can.

Health services, Vision, clinic, Pharmacy services.Garden nursery. Auto services.They offer reasonable price and friendly services. Huge parking lot.

We had a dissapointing experience at this location. A lot of people say bad things about Walmart but for the most part I enjoy going there. As a family we spent a lot of money there. Well, my friends I purchased an air mattress over there and after trying it that thing was no good. It was a terrible mattress. I try to return it and they basically say to me that I cannot return it and I can only exchange it for another. I didnt even want the money, I would have taken a store credit. That is the company policy! What!? A $138 billion dollar company sells me a product for $50 bucks, I try it and I didnt like it and you tell me me I have no choice to replace with the product I dont like? So I spend over $1,000 per year at this place and you stiff me for a $50 mattress. So Walmart are you so big that you can afford to give the lowly consumer ME a hard time and not your vendor to make a better product? My dissapointment was beyond belief. But guess what I go to another Walmart and no questions asked they accepted the return. Someone has to hold that management team accountable at that location. Walmart.... Which location was wrong? This one or the one that accepted my return?

No customer service for bikes that were locked. After finding 2 different employees and requesting assistance no one was sent to assist after 30min or so.After finding other items I needed to purchase the check out lines were really long. Self check out had about 8 carts in line. Two check out lines had about 5 people in each line. I seen more door greeters and people clearing and organizing the front of the store than cashiers.This should have been addressed. I hate that stores are moving towards self check out and do not leave better options for customers who dont choose to do it themselves.

Great prices, love the ecoatm machine. You can turn your old phones in for cash right then and there, or if youre anything like us itll take you 3 chargers, 4 trips to the car and a water break, but it was worth it in the end. $14 for 3 older than dirt cracked and used up androids.

Place is great the only thing that upset me was well this whole covid-19 thing was going on I couldnt get any of my tires rotated which basically gave me uneven wear I wish I could get a new set of tires it wasnt my fault that they were unevenly worn

I give it 3 stars only because there is quite a selection of things to buy. I have been to other Walmarts that look a bit more organized and clean. 3 stars for convenience and a decent amount of selection. Cleanines not very great and crowded most of the time.

I usually come here every other week and its great. Its smaller than most Walmarts so its not as hectic. I recently used the Walmart app for curbside pickup on groceries and items and i will like to thank Richard for being professional and helpful during my curbside pickup 👍

Did a full return and I only got partial of my money back. Theres no restocking fee on the shorts that Ive returned. I didnt noticed the partial return until I left the customer service. Im a few feet away and tried to talk to customer service but they want me to go back in the long line. I asked for a manager and Ive waited 30 mins and their manager is not responding on radio call. I wouldnt buy clothes here anymore because you cant fit them before buying and the return is a mess.

This Wal-Mart doesnt have enough cash registers open. Lines are long but great cashier nice and friendly. Stock is ok very few time they didnt have everything I needed.

The Duarte Walmart is one of the larger Walmarts in the San Gabriel Valley but management does not do a good job of keeping the store well stocked. It is also missing an automotive department that does tire installations and oil changes. You need to drive out to the Covina or Glendora Walmarts to obtain those services.

In my opinion, I think this Wal-Mart has some very lazy workers and even sometimes rude workers and lack of customer service. Not only that but they either take long or never restock in there stuff very disappointing when I come to check out if they have something I wanted they never have it.

Its good for many things I need to get but the aisle were crowded with carts from the storage room, blocking me from being able to get to what I needed. And the grocery shelves are confusing and messy. I like the Rosemead store better.
