I was dealing with a series of bike tube blowouts. This shop advised me to bring the bike in so they could fully explore my options. Absolutely Old School: they put the satisfaction of the customer before their bottom line. They matched their recommendations to what I needed to stop the tube blowouts. As a result I am a loyal customer.

This is my favorite bike shop. The employees are kind, honest, and helpful in figuring out exactly what you need done. The prices I have always found to be fair if not lower than what I expected. This is the only place I bring my bikes to be serviced.

Stopped in to possibly purchase 3 bikes...A younger salesman couldnt even give us the time of day to answer a very quick question when I simply asked if the bikes we were looking at were for sale or in for repair. Then I proceeded to ask if they had any for sale and he just walked by us. Oh well...On to the next shop.

This is a great local bike shop. We brought my wife’s bike in while traveling for a rear hub issue. Jonathan in service diagnosed it and fixed it quickly. He also rebuilt a rear shock which was failing. All within a 24 hour time period, which is amazing given COVID supply chain issues. This store is well stocked and managed by Dennis - the owner and resident bike fanatic. I highly recommend this LBS for either mtb or road.

1 Star Reviews must be from some cranky peeps who need to ride more and stress less.We are in Duluth from out of town and forgot our bike pump. Decided to stop in because of the mostly great reviews and wasnt disappointed. They helped me get sealant in both my tires to reduce the leaks, found a perfect pump for a reasonable price, and they even let me know my brakes might be under a recall since they noted one was a bit sticky.Make sure to stop in, these guys were great!

I cant say enough nice things about Twin Ports Cyclery. After a long time not cycling, I wanted to buy a cruiser to get going again. With so much out of stock, they were able to secure a bike for me and had me up and running in time for a community ride that I wanted to attend. Denny & crew know their stuff for all levels of cyclists. Absolutely the place to go if you need a new bike, repair on your current ride, and accessories.

Twin Ports Cyclery is an awesome place. I am starting a two month self contained tour in Duluth. The bike arrived with headset issues and disc brake issues. Liz, the mechanic, easily adjusted the disc brakes. She hadnt encountered the type of headset I had, but was able to figure it out with a little help from Dennis. She was courteous and extremely competent. I was impressed. Based on my experience she deserves a raise.

One of areas leading shops for all things for bicycling. An outstanding repair store, as well as, a good display of new and used bikes for sale. Dennis is one of the best for his knowledge also.

(They even have an ex-Navy jet engine mechanic working for them! ) he kept jet Tom Cats flying- think he can fix the tinkle in your wheel chain? Go let them fix your problem. You can get in que right behind me!

A great place to go for repairs and tune ups!

Even though this shop is a bit out of the way for me it is the one I prefer to use. Its small, personable and honest. I went in and was asking for the performance tune up for my bike, which is their most expensive. After looking my bike over, the gentleman told me that I wouldnt need to spend that much. He suggested another tune up. which was almost half the price.

Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable and the part I needed was available and purchased. Will return when looking for my next ride. My most favored brand- Jamis is sold there as well as several other high-end options.

Great place. I needed a pedal wrench TODAY and I called to see if they had any after not having any luck with the big-box stores and another bike shop, I said I was going to try to make it in there before they closed... well I didnt make it, but they waited for me. It was only a few minutes after they were scheduled to close but it was really nice of them and helped me out a lot.

Needed a riser for my handle bars. The owner sold me own but said if it wasnt exactly what I wanted to take it back and exchange it for another one. Very friendly staff, quick tuneups.

Bought my bike here five years ago, and its still going strong! The staff are so helpful - I walked in yesterday needing a small repair and walked out within 10 minutes with a fixed bike for just $5!

Do not pedal past this place. No one deserves the quality of service they provide, nor their spectacular array of merchandise.

If you want to buy a bike that *might* have been put together correctly, go to Walmart. If you want a great buying experiance with people who actually ride and love bikes, go to TPC!

Great place to customize your bike the way you want it

I stopped to get info on local trails and look at bike mounted racks. The old guy in there was very knowledgeable and took a lot of time helping me make a descion. He also filled me in on the local trails and club. I took note of his prices and compared them to another bike shop later in the day. He was cheaper. He had a ton of merchandise crammed in that little shop. I will be going back

In my thirty plus years of riding and racing Ive never met anybody that knows as much about bikes as Nick. There isnt any thing he cant fix and hell always give you the best advice.

Dont be fooled by the fancy bikes on the walls, or the friendly gentlemen upstairs! Neither of the 2 bikes I had serviced came back fixed. One had shifting troubles; I could get it to shift fine on a bike stand, but not while riding. While I informed them of this, they quite obviously didnt check after fixing it. The other needed wheel truing. They only stayed in true for about 20 minutes, and I also realized my brakes had been loosened slightly. Overall I was unimpressed with the business and the amount of service my $120 could obtain. Id recommend you try one of the other bikes shops in town before risking a journey to twin ports.

Who is the fool who left 1 star? Bah, pure incompetence. TPC has awesome staff, great service and a considerable amount of mechanical expertise that exceeded my expectations for a small-town bike shop. They offer the largest selection of odd-ball and vintage parts if youre ever in need of some random barrel adjuster or bizarre jockey pulley, these guys would be the first place to check. I do like Continental and even Ski Hut, but if I have a choice of who deserves my money based on who is less in business to make money and more in business to promote a passion of cycling in our community, TPC is the place. Their group rides are also a blast, they run spirited yet no-drop, great for intermediate cyclists. Check their website for group ride days as they change from year to year.Tx guys!Drew_
