My husband and I go to Duluth once every year....we live 3 hours away. We discovered this gem of a place to shop! I found some really cute items and an amazing sweater that I had to have by Free People. One of my buys of a lifetime! And Dannie herself was so happy for me. I had so much fun trying things on. Her prices are so reasonable and she has so much to choose from. I will definitely go back every time were in Duluth.

This was an amazing little place! The prices were great on most items already, but I happened to visit when most items were also 50% off. Prices were so good it was stupid NOT to buy a few things. The owner was there, and she was very helpful, sweet and kind. Lots of unique items and a good mix of colors and styles so that anyone could find something they loved. Check this place out!

Im from out of town and was excited to shop at this store. I had a small sling bag on with my belongings in it, the size of a small purse. The lady working today (the owner I think) said I had to leave behind the counter because of theft and that every other store in town has a similar policy. Ive been many places on my trip here and nobody else has made a big deal of my tiny sling bag. I left immediately. I understand the policy as a store owner myself, but with the unwelcoming atmosphere? No thanks, Ill take my business elsewhere.

Went here to get my tenth grade prom dress 12 years ago and just brought my daughter here for the first time! The owner is incredible, so helpful and sweet!

Dannie has an awesome selection of clothes! I am long and lean, and pants never fit me at thrift stores, but I ended up taking home two pairs of on-trend high rise pants and a gorgeous little black dress for $40. I looked it up online and the dress alone was $300 new! Hand sanitizer is available at the door, and everyone is wearing masks. I would absolutely go here if I needed to find an outfit quickly for any occasion. I was thrilled that they had my size and style, and I saw clothes that would fit a lot of other sizes and styles as well. I will be back often!

Came to this adorably well stocked shop on a layover. It’s soooo big! Tons of clothing to choose from. I scored a pair of BRAND NEW coach boots. She’s really got good quality items. And the customer service was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back next time.

Disgusting. I was so excited to go here until I walked in and saw only small, medium, and large clothes for sale. I asked where the XL clothes were and was informed they were SEPARATED to the BACK CORNER of the store!! I will never shop here again!

Terrible customer service served with an attitude!Ive provided dozens of reviews and I believe this unfortunately is the 1st one star review Ive done. This is tough for me as I go out of my way to support small local businesses. This was not my only poor experience at this business.We use to live near by until a couple years ago. So Id been in the store 6 or 8 times before. I recall getting poor service several other times, but todays experience cut the cake. I confronted the person after asking for help and being dismissed twice. She had her face in her phone, come to find out responding to a text, she advised after telling me I was wrong to complain. My initial calling out was firm and measured, but in no way disrespectful. I thought she was probably an hourly employee, not getting paid much, so I wasnt taking it personally. After being told I was in the wrong and me advising I had a hard time believing the owner would see it that way, I was informed by the lady that she is the owner. Adding icing to the cake, defiantly she stated, I suppose youre one of those people that think the customer is aways right. No need to say more. She obviously doesnt need our business. I was in the store with my 9 year old daughter looking for a rain jacket for her. I really sincerely was looking for some help. She seemed annoyed that I asked her twice. Thus me calling her out for blowing me off while she fussed with her phone. It was the worst customer service experience Ive had in many years!

High quality clothes at beyond reasonable prices. I love this store, it’s my main go to for shopping. She carries all sizes and the clothes she takes in are quality. Her shoe selection is awesome. She has a wide range of styles and sizes and brands her sale prices are unheard of. She has designer clothes marked at a deeper discount than any area thrift store. Recommend to everybody who is looking for a deal on women’s / teen clothes!

Good selection and great pricing.

My roommate and I were driving by and saw a 50% off sign in the window. Within a few minutes of looking at the dress rack I found multiple pretty pieces. My roomie is very small and I am plus sized and we both came out with clothes and even though we came near closing time Dannie let us try on everything and was very patient and kind. Here are two dresses I got, both on sale 50% for a $10 total.

This is my favorite store to go shopping for clothes! I love Dannies selection as well as her prices. I find that I can get really nice clothes (designer and otherwise), for very reasonable prices. Dannie has wonderful sales, too! I also consign some of my clothing with her, and compared to other consignment stores in the Duluth/Superior area, shes very easy to work with. 1st time here & was impressed how large this store is! Very nice place & the owner was nice. They even have dressing rooms. Its all womens clothes, but also shoes, coats & accessories!

This is the ONLY bad review I have ever written for a small business. When i was 12 my grandmother took me here to buy a dress for a school dance. I tried on 2 dresses. They didnt fit right. We came back a couple weeks later and I was told by the owner I wasnt allowed to try anything on because this isnt a playground I will ad that I wasnt being loud or wild or disrespectful I was just shopping for my school dance. I shutter every time I drive by even 12 years later . This lady is prejudice and a bully.

The owner was hostile and condescending. Tried to tell me that I couldnt feed my baby in her store because no food was allowed in there, which is understandable. However, I dont think she wants to hear my daughter screaming if I was to take her food away. The owner tried telling me some sob story about someone else who made a mess in her shop, and I flat out told her I didnt want to hear it. This owner is prejudiced towards people she assumes are of a lesser social or financial class than her. I was warned by multiple friends not to go in there, I should have listened. I was warned specifically that she tries on the clothes herself that people bring into her store which is absolutely disgusting especially with covid going around. The owner is a complete psychopath who needs a reality check.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I went in hoping to find cute summer shirts. I saw a cute button up striped shirt on the mannequin. I asked the front desk women (who has brown hair and glasses) how much the shirt and the size was. She responded, Theyre usually a small on the mannequin...are you sure you want this? I said, Yes. She then said, You should try it on. We dont do returns. I tried it on and unfortunately my bust was so large, other wise it fit. I brought it up to the counter and returned it to her. I said, It didnt fit my bust, thank you. She then just said, Yeah... I found it awfully rude that she was subtly judging my body size. This may sound like nothing but how I was being spoken to and what she said was mean and unnecessary.

I hate shopping but I love Dannie Duluth. I always score awesome, high quality finds for super cheap in less than 20 minutes. Today I got a steal of two great tops and a perfectly fitted blazer for under $10. And the owner was so kind even though it was right at closing time.

I have been struggling finding a dress to wear for my college graduation and I was finally able to find the perfect dress. Dannie was so nice and even knew the dress I was getting out of all her stock. I also found a pair of shoes too were brand new Steve Maddens and prices amazing. They are my new favorite go tos for everything. I will be going back there for sure and recommend it to all my friends.

I stopped into Dannie Duluth on a rare afternoon off the other day and had such a pleasant experience. It’s always been a fun place to visit as a customer and a consignor.When I mentioned I hadn’t been in for ages and what a rare treat it was for me, Dannie immediately offered to check her database for me to see if I had outstanding credit, which I did! (It has actually been a couple years since I was last in.) Checks below a certain amount (understandably) are not mailed to consignors, but store credit is available.I enjoyed taking my time, chatting with Dannie, and looking around. The shop is always nicely organized, and clean, with a great selection of clothing, purses, and shoes. And so nice to know that your store credit does not expire.I ended up finding some great deals on some cute items and used my store credit towards the purchase!Thanks for a fun break in my busy day—I’ll look forward to my next visit!

The owner and employee were kind and accommodating. She helped me try on a sweater that was on a display, which took time to take off and put back on. I found some really nice pieces at a great price. My friend and I had a blast trying sweaters on and other fun finds. We had a great afternoon and will be back!

Fantastic shop with fantastic prices. It tends to run on the smaller size for womens clothing, the largest sizes tend to be around 14. But great quality clothing, would highly recommend!

I was looking for a Halloween costume (close to last minute of course), and thankfully I found an excellent Mad Hatter costume here that not only had all of the tricky components of the ensemble, but for a great deal as well! A fantastic option for frugal shoppers out there! Dannie Duluth tends to have trendier, gently-used clothes from quality brands at very reasonable prices. Honestly, their clothing prices can be cheaper sometimes Goodwill and in much better condition at that.

Lots of racks to run through. Its a large space. I liked how it was set up so each rack has items of each size. It was less daunting to me when I was going from rack to rack checking my size than just looking at one long rack of one size. Also I was there for their between season sale and the prices were great.

Great place to find unique and eclectic pieces. There is a nice selection of clothing and accessories for a variety of tastes. Also, all the clothing was treated with care and in great condition. Everything on the rack was ironed and as crisp as you would find new.

Dannie, the owner, has some serious issues with customer service that she has not been willing to correct. Im sad for her because this will eventually cause her to lose her business. A new store has opened and I recommend that you shop at The Loft up by the mall. Great customer service and really great items. I havent returned to Dannie Duluth since The Loft opened.

Once I got used to the way things run at the store, I loved it!! The deals cannot be beaten...yes, you need to bring things back to her a certain way, hang them up, follow rules, but thats ok...its typically just the owner in the store...shes a nice gal if you actually talk to her!! I buy most of my clothing there and when its on sale the dress prices cant be beaten! They have larger sizes in the back room and tons of them if you look!!!

Owner was incredibly rude when I asked how consignment worked in her store. She treated my daughter rudely as well. When we asked her for help she told us to “go look for ourselves”. We won’t be going back there again.

Never have I been dismissed so quickly. Called to inquire about Tiffany jewelry, and more than once she tried to end the call. Bear in mind the call didnt last a full minute by the end. Yikes.

Love to shop at Dannys! She has a HUGE selection of brand name clothes in all sizes. The store is always clean and neat and doesnt have that Goodwill smell that I notice in some other consignment stores. I appreciate the store being open on Sundays and even some holidays as those are sometimes the only times I can shop without rushing. Some of the reviews say that the owner is rude or not friendly but I have never experienced that. I have always been treated with respect and a smile. I think what comes around, goes around!
