My husband and I stopped into Kay Jewelers in Duluth to have my jewelry inspected and Austin and Miranda were very helpful and knowledgeable. Austin took his time to inspect each piece carefully and when something was in need of repair, explained what was wrong and what would need to be done to fix it. Miranda was careful to document each piece as having been in for inspection and/or entering the necessary information to send out for repair. Would recommend this store for any of your jewelry needs or desires.

Kay jewelers has had our ring for a month and a half. We never get calls on the due date...we have to call them for them to give us 3 different due dates and at a month and a half i was just told that it would be another 8 weeks! 3 months for cleaning and replacing 3 diamonds...workers are nice but theres better service elsewhere.

Extremely poor customer service. I went into the store to find a wedding band. I opened a Kay credit card specifically to receive 10% off my first purchase. When I went to “check out”. The manager and sales associate stated that I would receive the “promo” in my email. There was no promo in my email. They continued to state that there is nothing they could do. My friend asked if there was a way they could manually enter the code and we were told “go ahead and find it and I’ll gladly do it for you”. Very rude, unprofessional, and unknowledgeable. I understand staff turn over and staffing shortages are an issue everywhere but when spending thousands of dollars costumers deserve better service than Kay is able to provide.

This Company has fine stores and product.BUT the personal in the Miller Hill Mall store for the most part arent qualified to perform the quality salesmanship a Jewlery store should maintain.TJ is about the only employee who cares about his customers. The young girls there could care less and have no issue being belligerent to customers if confronted with a valid complain(VERY Unprofessional) for a store with such a name to it.My suggestion for anyone looking to buy there. Wait for. TJ to be available and skip the girls who only look for a quick sale to boost their quota.

I wish I could put a 0 star review. The experience I had after purchasing a wedding ring and band was horrible. Charged me interest when I was on a no interest for a year plan. Consumer service said they would take care of it and never did. Wasted hours on the phone to be told nothing they can do about it. I will not be purchasing anything from here ever again.

Had a terrible experience with Kays. Dropped off watches to have band links removed and batteries replaced. Paid for the service in advance. Stopped back on the designated pick up day, four days after the drop off day and they could not find my three watches. Asked if I could describe them. I had taken photos of them when I dropped them off. They found them based on my photos and NOTHING had been done to them over the four days. Very disappointed. Will not return.

Store hours are clearly stated multiple places as 11am to 7pm. I went there to have my watch battery replaced after calling ahead and they were closed! At 3:30pm!

Ordered a ring online. When it came in one of the diamonds on the side of it sat higher than the rest. So my options were to send it in and it take 2 weeks for it to come back or give it to my wife and return it later. I’m not giving my wife a defective ring for her anniversary and a diamond fall out and then they won’t replace it. And I mentioned I live over an hour away and I’m not going out of my way to make multiple trips to get this done. They offered no discount, nothing to rectify my bad experience. Then on my way out of the store I said, it will be sized to the same size as this ring correct? The guy said, yes I’ll make sure it’s on the paper work to get it sized. I literally just wished I had gone to Walmart. I go to a jewelry store to buy jewelry to take away complications, not add them and when I’m spending over $1,000 for a ring I expect the stone setting to be correct. Needs better quality control. I don’t know if it’s more the stores fault or the online portion of it. Either way, not a good experience. Will update review after I get the new ring. Update, the ring came back after a long wait with the stone set correctly but now the stone has a gray color to it and the other stones are clear. They start showing me under a microscope that it is clear and you can’t see any gray but they agreed they could see the gray with their own eyes..... I got my refund and went somewhere else.

Jenna and Gina are the sweetest people. They have been then for us every step of the way during our engagement and before the wedding! I can not thank them enough! So happy we got our wedding bands and my engagement ring there they are perfect! Wonderful service and informative on everything we needed to know!

Ordered a ring from Zales in February from the manager Caitin. Called in March multiple times and no one had a straight answer. Now, Zales is closed and the ring was never ordered and it was paid in full. Tried ordering it again in May and again it was never ordered from the manager Caitlin. If you ever have an issue, the manager at Kay Jewelers will block your number off the company phone. We never got an apology for anything. Will never recommend anyone to go to Zales or Kay Jewelers in Duluth.

Mom and I went in there this summer to see about fixing some jewlery. They encouraged us to get a Kay credit card . Their selling point was we would get free batteries for our watches. Since they charge $24 a time we decided it would be a good deal. I got 4 watches done and then stopped in another time and got two done for no charge. Went back with one watch to get stone on it replaced and they wanted $24 to put battery in. I reminded them of their policy and they denied it. Mom spent over $300 to have a blue stone replaced in her ring. We just noticed there is a clear spot in the middle of the stone like the back was painted. Need to take it back. Not impressed.

I brought my vintage, one-of-a-kind engagement ring in to be resized. Things did not go well. After one stone was lost and the main stone cracked, I was frustrated and devastated. I went into the store to speak with manager Jenna and I was blown away by her empathy and willingness to do whatever she could do to make the situation right. Jenna and the jeweler who worked on my ring made this nightmare situation turn into a happy ending. Thank you Jenna and Ryan!

My fiancé, a Kay employee an I walked into the store for the first time this afternoon past weekend. We were at the end of our travel day and thought why not check it out as I love my citizens, and belovia watches. The consultant was friendly, and I found 2 watches I was very drawn too. Upon mentioning the member of Kay (my fiancé) the management shifted gears and prolonged the process of me swiping my card, with steps upon steps. Upon irritation of the disregard for the situation and the focus of making a sale, I walked away. The consultant was nice, however I feel the need to share my experience as an overall consumer. Inexperience and lack of knowledge on procedures. The biggest fault I find is knowing when We walked in we were treated as consumers. Upon disclosure of my fiancé’s employment, we were treated the absolute Opposite. The excuses, body language, and attitude adjustment i saw and felt, I will never go back to this location. People are people, and as a rep of the sales industry it is so sad to see the demeaning atmosphere for a customer, employee, and human being. 1star is too much. Please train your staff, and find people to ENHANCE any and every persons experience who walks through the door.

I was in Kays recently looking for a birthday gift foe myself. My husband told me to look and purchase whatever i wanted. I was standing there and waiting for someone tp help help, but they just pasted me by like i wasnt there. I stood there for 10 minutes as people were comong in behind me and being helped!!! My husband and son do all their business at Kays. So I left and went to the jewelry store across from Kays and purchased my 1500.00 ring!!THANKS KAYS

I’ve had to send my ring back in twice to get re-soldered because they did a terrible job the first 2 times. They used the wrong color to solder the first time and the second time it was bent so there was a gap between my rings.They never answer their phones. There’s no voicemail so I can either just stay on the line for 10 mins or I can hang up and they have no way of getting back to me.And they never call me when my ring is ready to be picked up, so every time I have to get it fixed, I have to call them for a couple days straight to get an answer.Very displeased with their service.

I cant believe this store they had people scoping out the customers. also they didnt have any idea what they were doing. Felt very unsafe leaving jewlery with them. couldnt even give us a straight answer. walked away VERY disappointed!
