We’ll, the two stars are for the helpful and friendly administrative assistant who answered the phone when I called. I scheduled an appointment and she gave me a two-hour window within which a tech would arrive to repair my door. I waited the two hours and another 15 minutes, then I called. I was told by the same friendly person that ‘he would be there soon’. An hour later I had to cancel my appointment, at which point I was offered a rescheduled appointment, I declined. If you can’t keep an appointment, a call your customer.

Sadly enough, Overhead Door delivered exactly what they had promised. We had them install a new door on our attached garage while moving the old door to a detached garage on our property. Both doors are flawless in operation and also are definite upgrades to both garages. I am saddened, after reading some of the other reviews, that I have nothing to complain about. I also find it interesting that the negative reviews appear to embelish and place blame. I dont recall any of them sharing in the blame, miscommunication, or outcome.

I was recommended to Overhead Door by my neighbor when we moved into our new house. The service was prompt and everyone I interacted was super pleasant to work with. The technician that did our install was fast and thorough. When he left the garage doors were working like a Swiss watch! If you are looking for a company to handle your garage doors Overhead Door would have my recommendation! Thanks guys for the great service!

I have used the Overhead Door Company a few times and they always get the job done well. Their expert/skilled work is efficient (Great job Derek), the door openers top quality/quiet, their customer service (from the office to the garage door ) is excellent and theyre very fair with billing. I had called to have my cables put back on my garage door. They told me it would be $88 to complete it. The day the repair man came to my house he was here for 20 minutes. I know this because I have it all on camera. I got my bill in the mail and they charged me for 1.5 hours of labor time. Also charged me for new cables and some other random part. I never asked for new cables nor did the call me to ask if it was okay to replace/install new parts, they just went ahead and did it. So I was quoted $88 for the service and received a bill in the mail for $175. Called the office and it was the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Very rude and condescending, the “manager” got on the phone and started yelling at me. Told me he was sending me to collections and hung up on me. I tired calling back all day and they wouldn’t answer. Very disappointed I will never use them again nor recommend them.

Derrick did a really nice job installing a new garage door opener system for us. He was very helpful and took the time to explain how to operate, would recommend this company.

Not very good. Had them come service my garage door. They replaced my cables. I paid my bill. the next week my garage door would not close completely and my chain came off. Called them again and they came back and supposedly re attached my chain. within the next few days the door was not working properly. I called Great Lakes Door for a second opinion.and they said the chain was not reattached properly. Great Lakes Door fixed my garage door and it has been working fine ever since. Great Lakes door didnt even charge for their time. Overhead door is now taking me to collections for not paying the second bill. I have tried to call and email their business but no one will return my calls. I would never go on an internet site to gripe but poor customer service will get you every time... Lets just say Overhead has lost my future business......

Kelly Davidson is not being forthright. He asked if we had a door like Clopays Flush Door. I forwarded him a brochure and proposal which he sent us a down payment for. Kelly received exactly what we proposed.Now he is refusing to pay the balance and his past due account been sent to a collection service. Also he never attempted to come to our show room to look at a sample. We have thousands of satisfied customers that we continue to service. 4.23.19 UPDATE Kelly was taken to court and was forced to pay in full.

Outstanding service even after hours. My door may have been blown off its track in the middle of a huge windy downpour. It opened half way and was hanging by one side. Manager came over and made emergency repairs so that I can use it this weekend until they can replace the track next week.

I sent a picture to overhead door (Peter Finnegan) showing the exact garage door and style we wanted. I received a reply that i was being provided a quote for the exact door in the picture i sent. upon arrival home after the install i couldnt belie that the door didnt match at all what was in the picture. I contacted the company (Peter Finnegan) and was told your being ridiculous and need to just deal with it. i had asked if they could source the doors we wanted and was told no. i never was given a sample of the door to install or signed any proposal. i have never been treated this way before by any service based business. this was a bait and switch and ethically corrupt. please take your money elsewhere.

I will never work with Duluth Overhead again, nor do I recommend any one else work with them. I will gladly give anyone details that would like them but in short, they never called when promised, they ordered the wrong door and then charged US an extra $200 for the new one and, because of many errors on their part, we had to wait 3 months since first contact to have a working garage door. I have never had a cutomer service experience like this. Please do not go through this company.
