Music Go Round is what you wish Guitar Center was like: huge selection and incredible staff.This isnt your typical, small used-gear music store like youll find spread out across Metro Atlanta, Music Go Round has a large array of musical instruments and gear to check out in one spot: A massive wall of electrical guitars, stacks of amps and cabs, rows of practice amps, 2 cases of pedals, and a variety of other instruments like violins, cellos, flutes, and much more... and it all changes periodically as things get sold and brought in.Staff are friendly, helpful, and most importantly: relaxed. I felt zero pressure from them to buy anything, but was encouraged to try out everything I wanted to. Love it!This is now my go-to store for music gear.The one thing to note, and the only real down-side are the prices compared to retail; its not huge depending on the item so if youre going in looking for large price cuts, this isnt the place. They do have a big focus on trade-ins so you may be able to get a good chunk reduced if you bring some stuff in.

My first time visiting and would highly recommend! Incredibly friendly and knowledgable staff. They genuinely seemed excited to help me have a great experience testing out different guitars and amps. They also had an impressive selection of instruments and variety of price points. I think I got an incredible deal on my Breedlove and will definitely be going to them again in the future.

Wow. Great place. Tons of used gear of every kind. Amps, pedals, guitars, basses, wind and wood instruments. Staff was friendly, but didnt pressure. I just told them I was pricing amps and just doing my research, they offered a few details about my ideas, and I was out. Ill be back. Really great store.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Everyone here really knows their stuff and is so patient and kind, which was especially important to me. Charlotte is the best guitar tech ever and will set your guitar up perfectly! Curt is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in selecting guitars and gear. The store has pretty much anything most musicians might need and their gear buyback system is an awesome deal.

I am so grateful to have discovered Music Go Round in Duluth, GA. I was able to purchase a recommended brand band instrument for considerably less than renting for a year. And they offer to buy back at 1/2 price. Don’t rent for band, buy at Music Go Round!But, I am even more impressed with the exemplary customer service I was provided by Pauly today. I’m stuck and home with Covid and he went above and beyond assisting me with everything that needed to happen for my child to be ready for band with his cool alto sax. Thank you thank you thank you!

Very nice place. I purchased multiple pieces of equipment from here for my portable A/V set up; mixer, amplifier, microphones, ect... The people here a re very friendly and helpful. I havent had any issues with the equipment to date, which is a plus and would definitely recommend others to check them out, especially if you are in need of an amp or guitar, they have a huge selection.

Amazing store with amazing people - it is organized very nicely, the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the selection will make any musicians heart melt. They gave me an incredible bundle deal on a pricey electric drumset and were very patient and non-pushy as I went back and forth between options. They never tried to shove anything in my face for a sale or try to distract me with something else to purchase and they worked with my budget as much as possible. Im giving this shop 4 and not 5 because I usually have had awesome experiences, all the way back to their Lilburn location. A few weeks ago I visited the store and was ignored by 4 employees looking on their cellphones, talking about personal opinions, running to the parking lot. After shopping for 45 minutes I was FINALLY asked if I needed help. I was angry by that point but had actually came to do business regarding a trade. The manager, a little short guy, made me a ridiculous offer and acted like I hadnt done my homework on my items worth. He then turned condescending and rude. I asked for the owners time theyd be in. First he refused to tell me when shed be in and said, Im the manager. I told him Id met the owner several times and did not want to deal with him after hed ignored me the entire time Id been in the store. Only trust the owner. Shes cool and has always been fair. She has worked too hard for her business to be so poorly represented when she leaves.

This is literally the greatest music store I have ever worked with! Super fair on trades and such an amazing inventory, not to mention super knowledgeable and helpful staff! I don’t plan on shopping anywhere else as long these guys are around

I brought a Martin GPC15ME a few years ago and it was mainly kept in storage. This is an $1800 guitar brand new. I went to this newish Duluth location hoping to get $1000 minimum which is less than 60% of new cost. They offered me $750. Don’t go here if you have a gem. Find another place.

He was the most professional and delightful person to work with which is definitely rare in the world of customer service these days. Cool store, chilled out, laid back & greasy

Ive been going to music go round for about 2 decades. I have to drive right about 80 miles to get there(a little more no that they moved. They always greet there customers with a warm hello and they are always helpful. They arent pushy either. My last visit i was in there about 3 hours and they never said a negative word about it. Ms. Ann is top notch. No matter how long i go between visits she always remembers me. Hey youre that guy that drives so far to get here. I love nusic go round. There are music stores alot closer to me but none compare.

Good prices on gear and staff has always been helpful. I had an issue with a piece of gear that was posted online having the wrong description and they were happy to track down the item and look to see if it matched what I was looking for. Ill definitely be back.

Friendly local music store/chain. Large enough to have what you need. The selection varies so it helps to chedck it out frequently. You never know what they will have in trade. Seems to be more or at least as many used instruments as new and decent prices.

Had a great experience yesterday at Music Go Round Duluth. I had gear to sell and was also interested in some of their own. Paulie was kind enough to meet me outside and give me detailed estimates on my own items and then bring each piece of their gear to me outside (amidst COVID) for me to look over. At the end of the day it was a very pleasant experience - I drove a few hours and it was totally worth it. Very impressed with the service, I will certainly be back in the future!

They had exactly what I was looking for in store. The staff was nice and took care of the necessary covid19 precautions by ensuring I used hand sanitizer and masked up before entering. The employee I spoke with told me exactly where to look to get what I needed. My only reason for giving it 4/5 stars is because I felt it was overpriced. Nice store though and very well organized.

Im sure this will be looked at as the just a bad experience review but Ill just lay it out and let you decide.Monday - Brought my bass in to be setup. Waited about 2 and a half hours to be told that they dont do setups in house. I was also told it would take at least a day.Tuesday - called in in the afternoon and it still wasnt picked up.Wednesday - had a gig Wednesday night. Called at 1. Asked if my bass was picked up. I was told it wasnt yet. I responded sayibng that I needed my bass for gig. Do not send it off. I show up at the store at 7pm that night to pick up my bass. The store clerks tell me that my bass was already picked... At 12 and whoever was wrong. The clerk tried to call the guy who does their setups and it went straight to voicemail. He told me that he could rush the setup and could have it back early Thursday. I decided to just to borrow my guitarists bass and pick up my bass Thursday.Thursday - I show up to the shop at 7pm. My bass is behind the front desk waiting for me. I tell the clerk that Im here to pick the bass up. He hands me the bass and tells me that i denied service so nothing was done with it. I left the shop with my bass in hand and never stepping foot in that shop again. Im also sending my students elsewhere.Update: my bass is chipped...

This is one of my favorite go too music stores that I use for finding great used gear, at affordable prices. The salesmen are very cool and knowledgeable on the gear, and most of them are musicians themselves, which is a plus, when you have questions, that pertain to a specific area of music, like, recording, live shows, or playing a particular instrument. I had a great experience my first time shopping here. I was in time constraint and I walked in already knowing what I needed, verbalized that, and low and behold I got a great deal on a acoustic guitar for my son. The inventory they had as far as I cound see was very eclectic with many worthy purchases to be had. Unique instruments as well, everything from moog machines, acoustic/electric guitars, base, violin, drums...and plenty of space to shop. The staff have everything they sell on a computer and if you are straight with your needs (stylr/cost/purpose)...they can get you what you want. Thanks guys, you rock!

Really, REALLY helpful and friendly staff and lots of great stuff to go through. Bought a used Hi Hat stand on Saturday and an acoustic guitar for my son on Monday and, despite the fact that both times I told them I was just looking was treated like a big-dollar customer both times. If you love musical instruments, its a great place to hangout, though you will probably end up leaving with something that you just couldnt say no to. ;^)

This is one of my favorite music stores. Theyd soon have an instrument in your hands than an extra $20 in their hands. Their prices are fair and they mark down instruments, the longer they sit there, in an effort to sell them and get them singing! Always pop in to look when Im in the area. So far Ive scored some awesome instruments from here.

Excellent. I couldnt get a demo on the instrument that I came for but this was not surprising considering it was an unusual instrument(EWI 5000 electronic wind instrument) The staff are great and the inventory is large. Prices are competitive especially if you follow their markdowns online. I got a great deal on this one and it works and looks like new!

Only just discovered this place a couple months back. What an awesome music store! Wish we had something like this up my way in the Gainesville area.
