Took in 94 140 Evinrude running rough and now it runs like brand new motor. They answered all my questions and kept me up to date and called before doing anything costly. Finding a good outboard mechanic is really hard and would definitely recommend

I was told my mercury 150 was no good-needed a complete rebuild. It would cost $4500 or more, possibly. They said low compression on 5 of the 6 cylinders and not firing on number 5 cylinder. Also there was a lot of wear on all cylinder walls. I did not use them for my rebuild. I took it somewhere else to have entire power head swapped. They called me and told me it would be $100 for new switch boxes and to come pick it up. 1 cylinder had 10psi less than the other 5-120psi. He hasnt built new motor for me yet, but he is going to in a few years once I finally wear this one out! Been on the lake 2 times for all day fishing, once was a tournament, no problems at all. Runs perfect. Lakeview Marine is a very dishonest and crooked place of business. $4500 is a lot of money. $100 fixed my no good motor. april 2013
