Lets start with the Deli manager Santagio wore his mask around his chin the whole time. We are still in a pandemic. Weather he chooses to believe it or not, he works with and for the public, i did take note othe team members wore their mask correctly. I waited to have my sandwich made, with possibly the slowest sandwich maker ever,Patricia could have worked faster if she had not Criticized one of the patrons hair at the store. I found it to be offensive and unprofessional.

Publix KNOWS customer service.I went in at 8:50 to get some snacks for our hotel. The front desk said they closed at 10.Numerous staff assisted me in my shopping, helping me locate items, lifting heavy drinks to my cat. The checkout employee and bagger were both curious, polite, genuine, kind, and funny.When I checked out at 9:30 they locked the doors behind me.They closed at 9! Not 10!Not one person hurried me, not one announcement was made that the store was closing. They just let me finish up and made sure I was okay.Thank you, because there were some hungry kids at the hotel waiting for those snacks!

Big improvement on this store carrying unsweetened pure leaf ice tea real brewed. Various products offered in produce section from USA especially organic products GREAT IMPROVEMENTS. The store is always very clean and organized. Most of the staff is very nice. But you definitely need to talk to your cashiers. I get it nobody wants to be a cashier but while you are at work you should at least pretend to try and be professional.

I have lived in Florida almost 29 years and have shopped at Publix all those years. This Publix is very Melo and is close to the beach, easy to stop for a sandwich and something to drink before you go. Also they have pool toys and some apparel for the beach. Very crate crew whom we know by name at this point... Love it!

Its different than any other Publix I been to. The staff were very helpful & treated me like family then a customer..

The cashiers, all the stocker people, Customer Service Desk, Deli, Bakery, and pharmacy workers are amazing. I was in the store a couple of weeks ago and the Grocery Manager Susanne came up as I was speaking to a vendor asking about a product and interrupted the conversation, without so much as an excuse me, and started berating the vendor in front of me. It made me so uncomfortable that I left the store and now when I walk into the store I ask if she is there and then decide if I will shop there or go to the Publix on 19 and Curlew. If you are going to put someone in a management position you should train them on how to handle certain situations including interrupting a conversation and berating employees or vendors in front of customers, that is not how this should be handled and I have been going to this Publix since my husband and I arrived here, but this situation is seriously making me rethink it.

The man working in seafood is extremely disrespectful, sarcastic and rude. Not professional nor friendly. Will not return. This was on 9/20/21 at around 3pm. He was an older man with white/greyish hair. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Very nice Publix store. It has many different types of items. They make delicious cakes and the bakery we order cakes is from that all the time and theyre always great. The store is clean well managed while stocked and well organized.

Really like shopping at Publix and this one is maybe a little better than average. Great helpful staff, big Deli and just a generally all around good place to shop. Only reason did not give 5 stars as we find we often need to get our fresh vegetables etc. elsewhere as the fresh product is sometimes hit and miss, everything else is up to par or above! I often frequent the Deli on the way home.

Watch the expiration date on baby formula! Enfamil newborn, I just bought some expired baby formula and came back to exchange it. Not cool Publix, not cool at all! On the positive side- everything else about this Publix is great and as soon as I brought it to their attention they went through every can taking the expired ones.

This store says it is OK for someone with COVID to shop there if they have a mask (they prefer them not to, but they cant know if they are sick), but if you are healthy, you CANNOT shop there without a mask.How is it I am keeping others safe with a mask when Im healthy?This is insanity.If you are sick, you shouldnt be allowed to hide behind a mask and potentially make others sick, while healthy people are treated like they are sick.What happened to LOGIC in America.

I love this publix! There are always employees available to help find items or answer questions! All the ones I have talked to were pleasant and made me feel like I was appreciated! Items are rarely out of stock.....even now during the pandemic they have items in the aisles. Of course that depends on customers not being inconsiderate and hogging items! I will be back soon! Highly recommended!

I didn’t go into the grocery store - just the liquor store which has no separate entry on Google. Patricia was friendly and efficient. She had two bottles of the Milagro Tequila Silver so I could use the $8 coupon. Johnny from my local store had only one. He called, and she put 2 aside for me. It wasn’t too far to drive to save $8 more. The price is similar to what we get on the cruises, but we haven’t cruised since Feb. Don’t know when we’ll cruise again. But we have a nephew’s birthday and Christmas coming up, and this is the only brand he drinks!The store was well stocked, clean, and bright. No one else was in the store, so CoVid practices were easy to adhere to. I was in and out quickly, and though Pat was masked, I could hear the smile in her voice. I will definitely return for the service!

Bought some fried chicken few days ago and it was raw from the inside. Called the store and the deli manager said to come in get a refund. My daughter who has 19 month has food poisoning from eating the uncooked chicken. Very disappointed with this location . I don’t want your damn refund. The misery you caused is not worth $8.49. Keep it and train your workers to handle food properly. I Will not be returning to this store again.

Cashier was so rude. She made me feel so uncomfortable. She would not give me back my change in hand. She blamed it on virus. She said out loud, she cant wait to go home. Dont come work if you feel that way.

While Publix may not be the cheapest, their customer service is awesome! When you ask where something is they stop what theyre doing and take you there (usually). They have no problem breaking up a package or cutting you your thickness preference of beef. I dont shop anywhere else, if I can avoid it.

Im in the area once a year for 2 weeks, and Im within easy bike distance of Publix. So, I go there because its convenient. To their credit, they have good produce and a good selection of everything else. BUT, the prices are pretty high compared to other close options.

Awesome customer service! The staff is always very friendly and eager to help. Tonight they seemed extra happy! 2 employees offered to help me and went out of their way for me. I saw 8-10 other happy smiling associates throughout Publix tonight and I appreciate their kindness very much! The store is nice and clean, organized well, properly stocked and shopping carts arent everywhere.

My Husband and I travel all over the USA, and this is the BEST grocery store in the USA! We have been to many Publix in Florida and have always had a GREAT experience! Theyre very clean. They have a great deli, bakery, and fresh produce! And Publix has our favorite Boars Head subs made fresh on delicious bread! I wish they had one in Northern Indiana!

This stores customer service is fantastic. The food and variety is great, they are very attentive and make shopping a very pleasant experience. The only small issue I had was I asked a worker in the bread aisle if something was on sale and he acted as if he didnt want to answer me he just nodded and wouldnt look at me which I found odd since Publix is beyond great when it comes to customer service. It didnt mar my visit! Go!

Dont get me wrong I like Publix. I just do not shop there much anymore. They are so high priced on most everything that I can not justify it. Even with the bogo specials they are still high. They carry very small portions sizes and that has inflated the per ounce cost. Being savvy on cost I go elsewhere for savings and do not have to rely on specials or ads. They do have the best customer service. The deli and subs are far better than a sub shop. The bakery is good but they use too much sugar. Thats all I taste is sugar and not the actual lets say lemon in the pie.

Gabriel at the customer service department was very rude. He doesnt deserve to work at customer service.

Update 5.22.20: This location has improved drastically... people have become much friendlier, the issues with wriong prices at register seemed to be resolved and the food is fresh and staff work hard to keep it stocked. I like that they now have registers open and make it easy for quick stops! Thank you!Original review was 1 star:This location for some reason always fails to ring up BOGO deals and then takes forever to verify. Makes it impossible to have quick shopping trips on the way home. Very dissatisfied almost as this happens almost every time.

We went to this particular Publix last week. My girlfriend and I were waiting at the deli. One of the workers come back from break walks from the front of the counter to behind the counter and asks whos next. My girlfriend told him our order, 1/2 lb white american cheese. The kid grabs the cheese not changing his gloves from when on break, unwraps it and starts to slice the cheese. I had said to the kid we had changed our mind and didnt want it. As we walked away you could hear the kid laughing and talking behind out back to the next customer as we walked away. You would think with all the cases of hepatitis A, going around Publix would teach there employees better food safety. I will be calling the deli manager.

MASK SUCKS. I CANT BREATHE. I ALMOST FAINTED MY SELF

I just ordered three subs online from this Publix. My order was said to be done at 12:30, I got there early and waited in line with the other people ordering. Once I got up to the counter I told them I was here and had ordered online, the guy said they’re making them in the back and continued to help the people behind me. I waited for a total of 40 minutes after getting there to get my subs and the people behind me had come and gone with their sandwiches as well as other people who weren’t even in line when I got there. Once I complained Michael making the sandwiches asked me, “What the problem was? Are you saying people cut you?” very snidely and dismissively. The problem was people in line after me got their sandwiches before me when I waited and placed my order ahead of time. I would have been better off ordering at the store. The only good outcome from this was Jason the manager had our sandwiches comped. Still unacceptable service as I waited in line and other people were helped before me.

I love this location, especially since they have expanded it. Being next to the Pinellas trail is also a great benefit, since I can either walk or ride my bike over in relative safety. Clean, wonderful service, selection, and a good price.
