I have been coming here for years and in general it is a wonderful publix. However, I had to leave today without a rotisserie chicken because the gentleman packing it was not wearing a mask covering his nose and mouth. He was coughing over the open chicken packages and also in his hand before going back to packing the chicken. This was around 12:50 pm today. I waited around for a few minutes and watched to see if I could track a clean chicken. I felt sick to my stomach and left instead. Leaving without a chicken isnt a big deal of course. Leaving with a transmittable virus could be life threatening.My mother is recovering from breast cancer and I am also at high risk for COVID. My partner works in the ICU with COVID patients and has since the start.I understand that the people in this area are less likely to wear masks and be careful during this pandemic. Yet, I have grown to expect careful and clean approaches from the Publix employees. When people are sick they need to have the flexibility to stay home with pay. I hope Publix is able to do better and protect others during this time. I assure you, this pandemic is not over.

The store is nice and clean, I was in and out of there after I found what I wanted. Its what I love about Publix. This would never happen at a walmart for me.

Decent selection fresh produce the prices here are a little expensive but the store was clean had good selection registers were open and working as far as masks maybe 5% of people were wearing them they did have them available along with hand sanitizer in the front

Nicely organized grocery store with good selection. Has delicious baked goods. This is my first time at a Publix because I just moved into town.

All Publix stores have gone up on prices and down on quality service. Several times lately they have put items on BOGO and have had the items available. I checked several stores and they were all out for the entire week. They used to issue Rain checks but they no longer do that. It happens so often that I have begun to think that they are doing it on purpose.

I always have a good shopping experience and the staff is very accommodating.

Just ordered a PRESSED sub from there through Instacart, and it wasn’t pressed. Just a regular cold sub. It even has my instructions on the ticket that I wanted it pressed. I have the ticket. Disappointed. (Adding to last review) C’mon guys… today is Oct 29th and this is what I get delivered to me TODAY. Should be taken off the shelf. Expired. No Bueno.

Always clean, friendly and the butcher made fresh meatballs for me when they were out of them. The manager is super friendly. I always love publix, but this one is mine that I always go to!!

The deli area has a great selection of everything especially my favorite Fried Chicken. In general the store is just a great place to shop!

Ive been shopping at Publix since 1969 when my mom would take me with her to shop every Friday after work. This Publix is bright, clean, well organized, and has a great selection of organic and natural foods as well as the usual conventional offerings.The staff is nice, polite, and always has a smile. The customers are an older crowd, like much of Dunedin, and they too are polite, not cranky, and quick to say hi as they pass by.Loving my home town!

This store in particular is always slow with online orders for the deli. I’ve ordered from here on three separate occasions and they are always late with my online order. I usually spend 20 more minutes waiting.

Staff always helpful. Store is clean and organized. Store is well stocked except for times when items arent available.

Pharmacy is great, the Deli and Bakery are stocked with great food and friendly staff, all around great selection and pricing. Plenty of parking, however a lot of customers are bad/lazy about putting the grocery carts where they belong after they use them, which is like any other grocery parking lot. Enjoy

This particular store is awesome, I just wish they had more pastries in the cake department that were not so expensive . I also bought a Flan that even though the date was not expired, When it was opened to be served It was full of mold. green mold. I just threw it our and bought it to the bakeries attention . I have not bought another one since. I used to buy 2 or 3 at a time. I have not since then. You also had a young manager with a beard that was the nicest guy. I have no idea what his name is or was, However I have not seen him. I only hope he has been promoted. this can be a stressful store as a manager to always have everything in order, and he went out of his way to make sure not only I had everything I was looking for, But Ive seen his ask others as well. I also wanted to bring the attention to the deli hot food section. food is not always available just a lil after 630pm sometimes and when you work late, You look forward to getting it sometimes, However I kinda get it.

MEAT COUNTER IS GONE. This was my go to place for steaks n pork chops. NO MORE!!! Now they pretty much took away the one on one customer service with the meat butcher. A lot of people in the store were very disappointed!!!!Also went up 30% on the Twisted teas. Used to be the best price in town and now they are the most expensive in town.KROGER IS COMING AND THEY ARE SCARED!!!!

Parking lot can be nerve-racking. Be alert. Friendly and welcoming service inside.

Great store, the wholesome ready made meals are very good, I pick them up and take to work for lunch. The fruit is almost always sweet. Items are really easy to fine.

Always busy, but never crowded. friendly staff and a great pharmacist (Got my Covid vaccine here). Overall a very neighborhood feel. And on Saturday mornings, 9-10, there is the gentleman in the parking lot with his dachshund hanging out in the parking lot. I think he is waiting for his wife. People always stop and say hi to him.

Helpful staff. came in once looking to get kettle-corn for a club event— had no clue where it was. Staff member noticed how confused I looked and showed me where it is (aisle 12 btw, with the regular popcorn). They’ll also re-package produce if you need a smaller amount which is really helpful when I’m shopping for my pet mice. There’s a new refrigerated deli section with prepackaged foods. Bathrooms are really clean. There’s also a new seating area in the front of the store. It’s nice, theres a microwave, utensils and condiments available. I do wish there were a community bulletin board though.

Great deli and cold foods section!! Lanes were moving a little slow but lots of people were stocking up for back to school.

I love their buy one get one deals and when they have other sales in for another store so I usually look through and find pretty good deals my favorite place to buy a New York cheesecake majority of the times customer service is excellent

I got a sub sandwich from the deli, which I know most people would say they are one of the best sub shops in and around Dunedin,FL. I tried tried a newer sandwich, smoked turkey and onion, I believe that is the name. Anyway it has smoked boars head turkey, cheddar Jack cheese spread, fried onions, barbecue sauce, and of course your choice of bread and other various contents as well as toasting. To the point, EXCELLENT AND DELICIOUS FLAVOR!!!!!!

I wasn’t going to write a review but this situation makes me so uncomfortable as a regular to this store… I want it to be addressed. As a black women, my shopping experience is questionable. Without fail everything I go to self-check out I will see someone physically jump over to self-checkout to watch me. No matter how full the self-checkout station already is without being watched, if I go over there someone always be on watch. I’m a regular at this store and it’s unfamiliar for me to be profiled at any other establishment but this.

This is a great place except for the crazy people. If you have a backup camera it is much easier.

This is a great store. Ive going here for about 11 years but the last few visits. Either my order from the deli have been wrong or the wait time has been absolutely ridiculous. Today, I was wait for about 20 minutes at the sub counter to only get told they had to do online orders. I will not be going back to this store.

Prices at Publix can be higher than other stores. Sometimes much higher, but sometimes a bit lower. Pay attention. But overall, the shopping experience is excellent: wide aisles, well lit, well stocked, good selection of products. Well pay the extra cost to enjoy shopping there.

Even when a prescription is sent straight from the doctors office, they take several days to over a week to fill. I tried to ask if they were out of the medicine so I could transfer the script to another pharmacy, but they werent out. This happens consistently.They are either harshly understaffed or they just dont give a f. Idk....

I didnt actually go into this Publix market. My friend went in to use the ATM. Publix markets in Florida are my favorite markets though.

I love Publix overall! Hands down this is the worst store I have shopped at in my 20 years of living in Florida. Frequently out of specials, wings are undercooked and recently purchased a very dry carrot cake. Tonight I had a horrible experience using their self-checkout I frequently use self-checkout at various retailers, not just Publix. I had a number of items and ran out of space, so I had to place items in my cart. I also had items that I did not not want to put in bags (hence wasting plastic bags). It kept stopping me from scanning in additional items. The less than friendly associate got irritated with me because she had to swipe her card to unlock the system for me to continue scanning. She also chose to speak to me like a 4 year child. She said this would not happen if you would simply bag everything and wait to place items in your cart. Logistically not possible - Not to mention I have never had this issue with any other retailer. She had to take it a step further by condescendingly demonstrated scanning a fake item in and placing it into a bag. I have never given any business a bad review, but tonight I had reached my limit with this location. I walked out of the store and will not return.

Their prices are away too high now . I do not like the self check 6 Available. With 3 cashier lines open and backed up! And they are making record profits!

Samantha from the Deli provided amazing customer service, after I came in around 9:30 pm for two subs, Samantha was very friendly and welcoming. She didnt make me feel bad for coming in so late to order subs and i really appreciated that. Apart from her customer service the two subs she made were also amazing i will most definitely make the drive back to this Publix to get a sub from Samantha. I wish her the best and hope to see her again when i go.
