Paul is the BEST!!!My husband and I wanted to look at electric bikes and we found a Pedego store in Dunedin where you can test ride them behind the shopping plaza. I was very nervous to take a test ride since it’s been at least 30 years since I’ve been on a bike, but I hopped on and off I went. I forgot how much fun it is to go for a bike ride! Pedego has a great program where you can rent the bikes for a week to see if you like them. If you decide to purchase a Pedego bike, they will apply your rental fee to the purchase price of the bike, so it’s a win win! Paul (the owner) does a great job of making sure you get a bike that will be just right for you. He delivers and picks up the rental bikes which makes it easy and he helps after the delivery for any issues that may arise or any questions that come up.We are not considered active people but we found ourselves riding these bikes every day for miles and miles. We hit 100 miles in just a couple of weeks without even trying. When you ride a Pedego it makes you smile and feel so happy. I feel bad for all of the people riding regular bikes who don’t seem like they are having fun. The bikes are a blast and the best part is that each individual can get as little or as much exercise as they want. Don’t be fooled into thinking: “Those are just electric bikes and you don’t get any exercise” or as another guy said, “Oh, that’s a cheater bike” because neither statement is true! You can ride with no assist, a little assist, a lot assist, or all assist. We ended up purchasing the Boomerang and the Trail Tracker Gorilla and we go out riding every day unless it’s raining. We usually average 16-18 miles on a ride, and it’s about getting outside, exploring, and having fun, and getting some exercise. I could go on and on about how much we love these bikes, but, I think I’ve gone on long enough. Looking forward to my 1000 mile pin!!

We rented bikes for 3 days for our mini-moon. Even though Hurricane Elsa was on her way, the gentlemen in the shop were super kind and helpful. We did not know which style bike to rent but they recommended the perfect style to fit our plans! We were able to go all the way up to Tarpon Springs and down to Safety Harbor. It was so convenient being on bikes, especially over the Fourth of July weekend. Locks and charging cords were even included in the rental. Would 100% rent from them again!

We went to this new Pedego Store, Located in Dunedin Florida, near the trail, because a friend recommended them for a bike rentals. There we met Brady Shaw, who is a sales person for Pedego. Brady took the time to show us different electric bikes and teach us how to use them.We thanked him for his time and left the shop. During the next seven days or so I spent a lot of time researching electric bikes as well as visiting other stores and test driving their electric bikes.The range in prices is great for electric bikes, however we found Pedego to be not only the best value for the money but the best people and customer service for the money.Today he went back to the shop, and test drove the bikes again. We decided right there to purchase two of them. One for my wife and one for myself.There was another gentleman there, who was also as outstanding as Brady, however I forgot his name. He not only helped us before Brady got there today but also went over our bikes that we purchased so that Brady could deliver them to our home today.I highly recommend this Pedigo shop, Brady Shaw, our sales person as well as their other employees. These days customer service sometimes is lost however it is not lost in this store. These guys were outstanding. We also are very happy with our Bikes.

We went shopping for e bikes and were greeted by an awesome couple who are very well versed with the Pedego bikes. We were clueless about electric bikes. They gave us a rundown on operating them and let us test ride them. We chose the Element bikes, they are awesome! I highly recommend this store as your go to place for a Pedego. They are a direct dealer and have all the things that fit the bikes there. We are buying the car rack next week! :0)

What a fun thing to do while on vacation in Florida! The staff was great at explaining how everything worked, and gave us a lot of great pointers. The bikes were easy to operate, and it didnt take long before we started zooming around the area. We put a total of 30 miles on them before we had to head back because my speed racer husband used up his battery! My daughter and I had plenty of battery power left, though. I have only 2 things that were negative issues. After 4 hours of zooming around, the seats became very uncomfortable, especially if you dont have much natural padding. Some small bungee cords would be nice, for securing personal items, although the equipment did hold my medium size bag securely the entire time.

The owner and staff were excellent! We cruised all over from downtown Dunedin to Honeymoon Island to Tarpon Springs and enjoyed every minute of it! It is a great way to spend the day. We had so much fun we may be buying an electric bikes of our own! Buying or renting, we will absolutely be coming here again! Thanks again Pedego Dunedin!!

Renting the Pedego bikes was one of our best beach experiences. There are amazing bike paths in this area. The shop owners were friendly and helpful. We have wanted to try out Pedego e bikes to see if we are interested in buying one for my husband. We are sold on this shop and the bikes!

These guys are awesome. The bike is a ton of fun and they come pick it up and drop it off any time I need tune up or some extras for the bike. Get one. You want regret it!

Had an awesome experience. Bent my chain guard and had to order a new one. Went to get it replaced and the owner could not do it the same day. We had leave it there because his mechanic would have to do it. Went to pick it up and they didn’t charge us for the repair or the new chain guard. We offered to pay several times and they said no. If we need anymore repairs we will definitely go back.Signed a very happy Pedego trike owner.

My life was changed by this bike rental. So, we wanted to ride the Pinellas trail and had read on various sites that the Northern end, near Dunedin was the prettiest area to ride. Only problem was that it was unseasonably hot and nobody wanted to pedal in that heat. So, we looked up electric bike rentals and found Pedego in Dunedin. Im sorry I didnt get the name of the young man who showed us the bikes, because he was so patient and thorough. He made sure we had our helmets, that we understood how to work the bikes and all the safety measures. I was a little nervous at first, but after the first mile or so I was zooming right along like a pro! We rode over twelve miles to Tarpon Springs, had lunch and shopped (and the included locks helped us feel comfortable doing so). Then rode back and around Dunedin. We wished we had rented the full day instead of half, as it was the most fun day we had on vacation! Its a blast, but you should probably be comfortable riding a regular bike as these are a bit heavy and the turn radius is a bit different. Now we want to buy our own electric bikes!!

The Pedego shop in Dunedin is highly recommended. Excellent buying experience; professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Purchased a Boomerang Platinum that is well designed, well built, and appears to be very rugged. After much research, decided to go with a Pedego. It had all the right components and assembled by a professional mechanic at a local Pedego shop that could provide face-to-face support if needed.Now maybe I can keep up with my marathon running wife.

Unfortunately this shop does not have a way to inflate bike tires. Very strange in my opinion not sure how they keep the tires inflated? Good luck riding around a bike you rent here, check your tires are inflated!!

We rented 4 of the electric bikes for 4 hours was a great way to spend an afternoon riding around checking out the area of Dunedin. It was our first time renting/riding electric bicycles. The owner and person that helped us learn how to use the bikes was very informative and we felt confident in our abilities to use the electric bikes. We got a couple of Pedego electric bikes while on vacation for a couple of days. They were so much fun and made for a great way to get around! Not only were they fun to use, but Paul was the nicest guy! He was so accommodating and helpful. He dropped the bikes off to us (with extra helmets) and picked them up, making it all so easy! My wife and I purchased two Pedego bikes from Dunedin. Alan was terrific. Very patient and knowledgeable. Made my are buying experience a breeze. I will definitely refer people to him. We thought about buying Rad bikes and so glad we didn’t. At Dunedin Pedego they do everything. Sales and most importantly they service your bike. TJ the service technician was also very knowledgeable and honest. There is no high pressure sales at Pedego bikes of Dunedin. TJ had to come out to our home to change some things with our bike. He called to make appointments and was always very prompt and professional. If your looking for an electric bike check out Dunedin Pedego first or Pedego where you live and you won’t be sorry.

TJ worked on my bike for the 100 mile. Had an issue with the cassette and he was able to quickly resolve the issue no questions asked. Great customer service from the sale to the actual servicing of the bike. Highly recommend these folks and the Podego line of bikes. You can always find a bike online but you will be lacking the service and expertise you get from Podego Dunedin which is well worth it.

**EDIT** After leaving the review I received a text from either a manager or owner (they didnt leave a name). They did try to do what they could to make the situation right and I definitely did want to let people know this. In the text they offered to refund the money that was paid as well as give my son and I a free 4 hr bike rental. Due to PTSD (diagnosed along with my military injuries) I try my best to avoid any and all confrontational situations. Due to this I did respectfully decline the free rental as I have no idea who would be working the counter or any possible confrontation I could receive. As far as any refund, I have no idea if they actually planned on it or if it was a ploy to get me to come back in for confrontation as they havent replied to anything since their message to the original review. I also upgraded from one star to two stars for their offer of it was indeed genuine, but I dont know with zero followup communication from them. **EDIT****ORIGINAL REVIEW**We looked at the bikes but it was right at closing so we were unable to rent and decided wed come back the next day after asking about their prices. The young gentleman working told us 49.99 for 4 hours. We came back the next day a little after 2pm, by the time everything was processed it was 230 (he was talking about their bikes and only had good things to say about the bikes he carried and anything else was negative). They close at 6 so we knew we wouldnt get the full 4 hours. We were charged 59.99 despite being told a different price the day before. Not a huge deal I suppose, my son really wanted to try these out as we have tried three other e-bike locations so far (Palm Harbor, downtown Dunedin, and St. Pete). The bikes themselves looked nice and seemed to be in good condition. We rode pinellas trail for about 45min-1hr and then stopped to get something to eat. Turned off both bikes and went in. Once complete we rode down to Honeymooon Island. It was at this time that my sons bike died. He then had to ride all the way back from honeymoon island, up over Dunedin causeway with a dead bike. I had no idea it was even close to dying as mine only had used one bar (out of 5). I let the gentleman at the counter know when we finally got back that perhaps the battery was going bad. He nonchalantly responded with oh no, its just a xx Amp battery, so its always going to die way before that one. (dont remember the number he said). So a total ride time of about an hr and a half and his bike was dead. Due to apparently being a smaller battery and something the owner should have pointed out when he gave us the bikes that my sons would die way before mine.Charged different price than I was told.Other companies will discount if you arent getting the full ride time due to the store closing (not mandatory but a nice courtesy).No military discount that other stores give (again, not mandatory but a nice courtesy).Sent us out with two completely different batteries, one that apparently only lasts around 1.5 hrs tops despite using low power and peddling the entire time.Sent us out knowing my sons bike would only last a fraction of the time, and not even an apology for my son having the issues.Most expensive out of the bike stores we have tried.He tried talking up his products only while giving misleading or completely false information about any type of design or upgrade that he didnt carry despite numerous articles online which give the correct facts in contrary to what he says.Due to all of this, I definitely couldnt recommend this store to anyone. The bikes were nice but thats the only positive. The other shops far surpass this one.

We had a great experience renting pedego electric bikes at the dunedin location. we rented for 1/2 day and rode to the tarpon springs sponge docks, stopped for lunch and rode back. Trail was great, bikes were a blast. this is our second time renting perego bikes and I definitely recommend them. we expect to buy a couple in the near future. customer service is excellent and thr bikes are great.

They worked with my dad to get him a loaner bike when his needed repairs, even picked his bike up and returned it to him. Beyond excellent customer service!

My friend and I rented two Pedigo ebikes for 4 hours. We had a great time. The bikes were new and in excellent condition. They added a bag for the front for belongings and a bike chain and lock. Bikes were fully charged. My friend started getting sunburned after only 1 1/2hours so we had to return early. Paul who I believe is the owner, let us come back another day to make up the 2 more hours we rented. All the employees who work there were so nice and knowledgeable. My friend, who never rode an ebike before, was thoroughly shown how to use the bike. Prices are good. Location is excellent! It’s right near the Pinellas Trail and the causeway to Honeymoon Beach Park (gorgeous). Don’t hesitate to rent from Pedigo Dunedin.

I purchased my Pedego Boomerang Plus from Pedego Dunedin, in Dunedin Florida.After looking at several ebike mfg’s, at several dealerships, because I didn’t know what I wanted. I found most ebikes are peddle assist only, but Pedego was the only ebike in my research that had either paddle assist or throttle only. I really like having an option of throttle only a lot. Plus Pedego warranty and service is by far the best on the market. 5 years!!!The folks at Pedego Dunedin, were sooo helpful and knowledgeable and right sized the ebike for my needs. They took the time to address all my questions and explained things I didn’t know I needed to know. I could not have been more satisfied with my experience at the Pedego Dunedin store and would recommend shopping there before you make your final decision.

Trendy helpful place that rents and sells a colorful line of electric bikes. Went looking for a new upgraded electric bike to meet my physical needs. Stopped when I found out their regular bikes were only rated for a 250 pound load and I weigh 246 and couldn’t carry anything. My current electric rating is350 pounds.If your looking for a nice electric bike in the two thousand to three thousand plus range, give them a try. Will likely rent one for a family member a I only have one now. On the Pinellas Trail.

Such a great bike rental! The owner and staff are friendly, helpful and kind. Perfect location downtown Dunedin right off the trail. The electric bikes are fun and great for people who need a little help keeping up. My dad loved biking before his stroke and today was the first day he’s been back on a bike thanks to Pedego. The electric tricycle was perfect for him. We took a ride on the trail together and he felt great to pedal again, and the extra help from the Pedego was perfect. Looking forward to riding with him again. We highly recommend this shop.

Currently driving home and reminiscing on the amazing time we had in Dunedin, FL! A big thank you to Caroline and Rick for their friendly and phenomenal customer service. My mom and I rented electric bikes for a day and had such a great time! We also opted for a tour, hosted by Caroline, of parts of Dunedin and the Pinellas Bike Trail. Definitely a memorable experience and worth every penny.

I cant say enough about the personalized service Pam and Rick provided on my visit to Pedego Dunedin. I own a different brand of e-bike. I bought it online. My brand of bike has no stores - communication with the company is email, web-chat or phone. Its strictly Amazonish... The point is that the peace of mind Pedego Dunedin provided by being in person to coach, council, advise and repair is worth its weight in peace of mind. The learning and maintenance curve on an e-bike (for most people) requires more than a series of YouTube videos blended with a long FAQ page. The human factor of Pedego Dunedin provided patience and professionalism. I wasnt their customer. I didnt own their signature brand of bike. I needed repairs that were beyond my mechanical abilities. They helped me get back on the road with a smile at an affordable rate. I appreciate that Pam and Rick understand that any e-bike owner is a true enthusiast. All of us are in this movement together no matter the brand we ride. Everyone loves the electric bicycle experience yet only 1 manufacturer offers a national business model that supplies an official authorized storefront location to demonstrate, sell and service their specific brand of bikes. Now I understand the hidden advantage of Pedego and especially realize the value of Pam and Rick.

This is one of the most fun things to do in Dunedin. These bikes allow you to enjoy the outdoors, get in some exercise, and still getting to your destination in a reasonable time! They have great customer service that keeps me coming back!

L have a Pedego Comfort Cruiser at my mom`s place, it`s a nice bicycle, l`ve been in their shop after it`s been repaired they fixed the battery so it would stay in. The only thing that l don`t like about the Pedego Comfort Cruiser Electric Bicycles they ought to put the battery in between the seat post and back tire so it wouldn`t be so top heavy and a lower center of gravity would be a start. and the Pedego Electric Bicycle has no shock absorbers, otherwise the bicycle is nice looking bicycle.

Just bought a couple of like-new Pedego City Commuters from a private party and wanted to stop by an authorized dealer. Rick the owner and his assistant Kevin were terrific to get to know and learn more about the operation of Pedego e- bikes. They will be my go to dealer for service, parts a d accessories.

Electric bikes were very good. Free lesson beforehand was a bonus as this was our first time with these bikes.

The ride was an awful lot of fun. I rode over 60 miles on a round trip on the Pinellas Trail. Pedego Electric Bikes Dunedin was kind enough to change the battery when it ran out of power. I can hardly wait until the next time I get a chance to ride.

Bought two VERY expensive bikes here.. one ended up being significantly slower than the other. They took it back, said some part was defective but they would fix it. Got the bike back, same problem. Now they are refusing to take the bikes back. Spend your thousands of dollars elsewhere, where you may get some reasonable service and quality products.

Caroline and the staff are patient and enthusiastic in demonstrating and teaching how to operate and enjoy the bikes. The tour of Dunedin gives extra enjoyment to the demonstration. We thoroughly enjoyed the Pinellas trail. We recommend you do the same.

On thursday a group of us ladies rented Carolines electric bikes and had the best day ever...the bikes were fabulous and some of us are going to buy one for ourselves .we loved the bike. The very best part for me was i got to ride with Caroline myself on the electric tandem i felt special...Caroline was a gem..she took us on our own tour of Dunedin and more..we were blessed she had the time to share herself with us...we had so much fun, she was so gracious and funny..Dont miss out on this one...

Very helpful people, we had a great time on the bikes and they really helped us to understand the bikes. Man, those bikes are fast!

We vacationed in Clearwater Florida and rented Pedigo bikes at this store and all I can tell you is that it was an awesome experience. The guy that ran the store was great and I apologize that I can’t remember his name.

We were so excited to try these bikes and completely clueless of what to expect. The young woman that assisted us was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to try these out.

Never stop there if you dont have a Pedego, they wont help you at all. They were 3 of them looking each other but no service at all. They should go away from the bike trail.

We came in to look at a trike and they were very helpful. We took a test ride with Caroline she even took our dog with her while we rode the test bikes .

Last Monday, we checked the website and it said they were open. We wanted to purchase a Pedego tandem at about $3495 plus tax. We traveled the 45 miles and when we got there they were closed! We were severely disappointed.We called the number and the lady said she was out running errands and would be back in two hours. We did not want to wait and turned around and drove home.Today we purchased one on Amazon. We really like to support local business but expect them to act like a business and not as a hobbie. They really need to state their real operating hours as Im sure we are not the only customers showing up on Mondays.
